Hi!
I have XXJVU rom with Semaphore Kernel 2.5.0, it's a great work, thanks to @stratosk & co, for me it's the better combination, but now i have a problem with this. I have the CarDock and the DeskDock for Galaxy i9000, and previously, I have activated the microUSB sound with original Samsung apps (for desk and for car) or with the app "Galaxy Dock Sound Redirector" available in the Market (market.android.com/details?id=net.muteheadlight.dockredir) , but in this rom with this kernel not works.
I read about but I don't know the solution.
It's a Kernel Problem? Are any kernel-patch for works correctly?
Thanks at all.
(Sorry for my spaniard-english)

same rom no problem here im guessing flash a different animation or kernel
seems only the problem with your device only.
not anything that i realized on my phone after upgrade.
Suggestion is same: try re-flashing or with different version.
With teamhacksung it happened to me too... it usually occurs when closing apps with white background (for example, whatsapp)

After some days: flickering is less noticeable but is still there... maybe hw acceleration isn't fully implemented?
I'm not the only one who is facing this problem.

As far as stability and battery life is concerned, you can always go with the stock firmware. Here is the link to all stock firmwares,
All Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 Stock Firmwares (2.3.X) Ever Released
But if you are only interested in custom roms, then I suggest you go for CM 7 (2.3.7) based rom as it offers much more speed and stability than any other CM versions. You can decide for yourself which is the best among them. Here is the link to all custom roms for Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 thanks to @brijeshep,

On the other hand I suggest you to use a custom STOCK rom. They're the most stable, battery friendly, they have a good performance and are compatible with more games
If your friend use your smartphone such as a normal user, flash a custom STOCK rom and forget to face troubles
The problem is that with the time, all the stock ROM gets lag,and that's a bit annoying.
