Hey everyone, I have a question. Under your batteries, towards the bottom left, do you have a sticker that has Xs all over it? I thought it was white originally :s but I know I haven't gotten it wet. So ... Is it supposed to be full of Xs?
Here's a picture
Thanks!
I do not have this or any sticker in this area!
Yep its there and has x all over it. Looks like a warranty void sticker possibly over a screw

I think its to do with water damage. I have it also on mine. The x will change colour when in contact with water or high moisture. Its to do with warranty.

Thanks!!! It scared me for a moment. I thought that I had already voided my warranty but I knew I hadn't gotten it wet! But still, good to know!
I tried looking at some unboxings and none of them had the sticker. So I didn't know what to think. The first thing I did was look at my battery to see if it had come off of that xD haha.
Thanks though!
Um...does everyone have this?
Dont have it
I don`t have anything there.
It will turn pink or red when wet, and that's classed as liquid ingress, it means you don't have a leg to stand on, void warranty.

With some sort of scratch-proof magic coating. Maybe we should just ask specifically for a titanium cover.
I'd like a backcover with a proper clear class for the camera, so the pictures won't come out all hazy and greyish as they do now..
As for colors:

Anyone know where we can purchase an original black/brown one? I dropped my phone on the pavement and now it has a nice scratch on the corner...I had literally just put it in a leatherette case not 10 minutes before so I guess I was lucky....

Here you go.

But mine don't have the LG logo at the buttom, and it's like something looks wrong at the camera glass.

I removed almost all of it and applied duct tape in the interior so that the camera wouldn't be filled with dust...
Still couldn't find a original replacement cover...

Just mask the middle up give it a light sand and paint any colour you want, just put plenty laqure on so it doesn't scratch easy.
Then custom colour it any way you want
My local LG just drop me a voice mail during holiday, it will cost US$11 for a replacement which I can pick up from LG service centre.

I sanded down my nexus, and spray painted it white. Its starting to peel off and look ugly. I went to sprint and told them what happened. And know they say I voided my warranty. Can they do this?

you definitely voided your warranty. so yes, they can do that.
definitely Voided
Any physical modification of a device other than user replaceable parts voids warranty...
Just go on Ebay. That have OEM replacement back covers, Bezels etc for like $10 each.

Unless you know your way around small cellphone parts and a heat gun I wouldn't suggest doing it. Just send it out somewhere to have done and save your self a paper weight.

"stealthily ".....me likey
For those actually thinking of doing this, I am going to try and paint the battery door white with Plasti-Dip since it just peels off if I dont like it. If you don't know what Plasti-Dip is look it up on youtube.
WTF what went wrong with you ??

Forgive me if this belongs in q&a, couldn't decide where to put it lol. Anyways, my n7s screen slightly flexes and creeks. Anyone else have this problem? It kinda worries me cuz my brothers doesn't at all...

If it bothers you return it....I don't have that issue but my screen has a spot on the glass where the coating seems to be worn off. Only visible when in bright light. If you can live with it keep, it if not return it.

Yeah, I have that problem, and I've seen a few others with that problem as well. Doesn't effect it at all IMO, but it does bring down that "quality feel" a bit. Especially when you "tap" in the center of the screen where it is "bowed", feels/sounds a bit hollow. I think there are some things you can do to fix it. One of such fixes that I had read included the use of super glue. Seems a bit much, I'd suggest using that warranty or hit up ASUS for a replacement. Maybe send it in so they can fix it professionally. I mean, if THEY can't fix it correctly, then it needs to be replaced. I'm waiting until the last week of my warranty, then trading it for a new one. Hopefully it won't be a refurb
I'll call them tomorrow and see what they say.

Took a picture earlier and I noticed there is something odd looking towards the top part of any pictures I take. Even shows up when I have the camera up.
Time for warranty I suppose.

Crack in the lens cover?
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Beta
its the gods!
Get it replaced. Seems like an issue with the magic eye of the lens. It's probably damaged or a dirt got inside your phone and made it's way to the eye.
Or could you try to lightly tap the phone in your palm? It might get off the eye also but of course it's still there inside so kinda annoying.
