I tried this software a few months ago. If i recall, it lacked two things i need.
a) the ability to turn of the GPS between fixes.
b) the ability to allow the unit to fall asleep, and then wake the unit up to take fixes.
Have these features been added?

i have developed an application to share your location information with your friends and employees. I know that there is Google latitude and others, but hopefully this products is different and focusses also on the bussiness side / implementation of these technologies.
Some features:
- Send TraQ Code to your contacts, so they can follow you 'live' for an hour online.

BSA Eagle Tracker is a program I make that lets a boy scout track his progress towards eagle scout. The program is meant to be an unofficial means to track requirements done for the various ranks. The official scout handbook is still the official way to record that a requirement was done, but this gives boys a way to track their progress so they can "pocket" it and take it anywhere. The program was designed for offline use and to be totally independent of the Internet, so boys can use it "in the field" where they might not have the scout handbook with them. All of the requirements contained in the scout handbook for each rank are found in this app.
In the future, I plan to include the WHOLE merit badge requirements book and the scout awards, including religious awards.

I’m trying to get excited about Windows Phone 7 development again and I need your help. I’m looking for beta-testers for my new app GPS Calculator 4 (OK, this is not exactly new, but this version is a complete refresh).
GPS Calculator is a Swiss army knife tool for working with GPS data. Currently following functions are implemented:
1. Project. Ever wondered where you will end up if you go for 20 miles 45 degrees north? GPS Calculator can accurately project on real earth ellipsoid surface and provide with target coordinates. And now, using Bing reverse geocoding, you can also find the name of the place.
2. Measure. What is the exact distance from Paris to London? From your current location to New-York? From home to office? OK, you get the idea. And with more than 2700 cities data build-in this functions works even in offline mode.
3. Convert. From decimal degrees to GPS coordinates and vice versa.
Have any suggestions for other features to add? Please let me know.

I will say this is a terrific app - works like a charm. Very ingenious! I would like to make a request though. If it were possible to save area calculations and email them, that would definitely be a big PLUS!

Thank you! But what exactly do you mean about area calculations saved. Just the result number? It should already be possible even now to select it and copy-paste into an email, if needed.
