Hey Guyz,
does the App Widget Locker also Compaltible with the SmartassV2 function?
SmartassV2 does reduce Max Cpu to 122 when phone is Locked with Lockscreen.
then use other lockers then =) i used to use widget locker then realized it's laggy and my version is pira....

Hi,
After seeing all of the nifty things people are doing with Desktop Visualizer (Win 7 etc) I thought I'd give it a go.
Using the latest version from the Android Market (1.04), I find that my phone slows _way_ down. Having nice big icons doesn't seem to be worth the performance hit.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Phone details:
Droid 1 (rooted)
Cyanogen 6.0.0 ROM
Slayher_7x1000LV_v1.6 kernel
Compcache enabled
SetCpu: max 1000, Interactive governor
Watermark'D v3.4 theme
LauncherPro v0.8.0.0
Solid color wallpaper - not live

LauncherPro slows your phone down, not DV.
Try removing the LPP widgets if you have them.
Desktop Visualizer makes no impact on my phones speed.
Hmmmm, interesting idea. I'm not using any of the Launcher Pro widgets and I'll give ADW a go to see if the slowdown still occurs.

Dumb question......i removed it....sorry!
Anyone know lockscreen that can see launcher screen
Example
I have widget clock on screen when the phone get to lock screen
it can show widget clock not hide it.
The easiest way to do this is use widget locker and then put whatever widgets you want on the lockscreen. its paid app but well worth the price.
agreed, Widget Locker is the way to go. Saves me a lot of time. money well spent
If use widget locker you use double memory for one widget right?
example
I have one pure calendar on widget locker and another on screen it use 2 time memory
I think if lockscreen that not hide widget it not drain memory
Thanks
I haven't seen a double usage I use simiclock on both wl and home screen and no double

Widget locker has a very minimal impact on battery if that's what you're worried about. Somewhere in the app the dev goes into detail on how he avoids causing excessive battery drain.
Hi
So returned the Prime and got a Xoom
But I really liked the performance controls inside quick settings of the Prime.
Which widget can add performance controls widget where I can create a powersaver and an overclocked profile to switch between fast?
I use setcpu atm but it lacks a widget.
Thx

Why exactly did you return the Tegra 3 Transformer Prime for the Tegra 2 Xoom?
My answer is in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1478499&page=2
And on top of that I couldnt get it replaced because it was out of stock and still is today.
So for now the Xoom is great and then I will upgrade later this year.
But still need a good tablet overclock switch widget
Hi everyone, I do a fair amount of travelling and need a good dual time widget for 2 clocks, with one set to home base time and the second for the local time at current location. I have checked a few widgets from Google Play but didn't find anything nice... Is there any ported widget or any good widget you guys use and can suggest? I want to use it on tonyp's CM10 ParanoidAndroid v2.6 - build 10. Thanks in advance :good:
The option is already there in the ported cm10.1 clock by tonyp.... just go in the settings in clock app and enable "Automatic home clock" option and set the "Home time zone"..... it will show 2 clocks only after opening the clock app and not on home screen ..... for home screen there is a widget in ICS for dual clock if I remember correctly .....
