Here's the stock bootanimation for LG phones that are 4G. Not very flashy or anything but I actually like it.
Download the zip file
Place on sdcard
Copy/Paste to /system/media
Reboot.
bootanimation.zip
Needs resized but works.
It is pretty nice.. I am pretty sure that is the same as Revo v7 Stock. Just replaced my phone last week and saw it. thx!!

This may not be the best looking boot animation, as it's just a combination from the teaser trailer on YouTube.
It's looped and will just replay. This is my first boot animation....first of anything in this sorts. Going to do a complete overhaul this week of it, so please refrain from flaming this noob . In Xbox terms...I'm a scrub
Here is the video I made of it as a preview:
Download Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?oudaa6nmcjbaloy (15MB) I know...it's HUGE.
Instructions:
-Backup current bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak
-Download and copy the MW3 boot animation and paste it to system/media and change permissions
-Reboot
Another GREAT boot animation, but for the wildfire can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1006336 It's sick.
**Splash screen was made by Tribalartgod and can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059520
This is great...thanks a bunch. I'm looking forward to seeing your update. Rock ON \m/
Does this require a rooted phone?

hey can you tell me what the settings are you used to make the .zip i know it has to be zero compression but what settings are the images and the .txt file
as i have tried a few ones i made myself but they just dont show up

I used WinZip. I highlighted all my files(pictures tthat are in the two different folders you're using to store photos ,and desc.txt file- right click and choose: add to archive and make sure the setting is set to 'store'.
I used 256 x 256 (PNG FILES) The same dimensions as the animation in Cyanogen Mod. My current project uses a different resolution than my current.
When you play the YouTube video, you will see an annotation that leads you to my newest boot animation, that is the video sshowing the boot animation running at different res.
Download my ananimation and extract the files to you desktop. Take the desc file and the names of the folders, and put them on your desktop. The desc.txt file will have your settings and you can just change them.accordingly to your devices dimensions or FPS you want your animation to run at.
Did this help?

When zipping your material, do you make sure the compression method on the bottom left hand corner is set to STORE?

can this be flashed on a EVO 3D?
Yes. depending on the dimensions of your phones screen, you wont have a problem.
rename your current bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.Bak..
Flash my boot ani and test it. If not, you'll still have the stock bootani.
Or you simply put tthe bootani in system/data where your initial boot animation was/is.
I wanted to try something small as a just got in to modding a few days ago but unfortunately I still needed some help. Thanks to qbking77 & jkrough0728 for all your assistance in making this noobs day!
Just to give a little back here it is for any of you that would like it. Before you ask no it doesn't include the sound. Install it with the copy/paste method (not flashable)
Edit - Make sure you push it using root explorer, I tried others like file explorer and such and it didn't take.
Syndicatebootup.zip is the flashable version for those that would like that better. Thanks qbking77!
Awesome!!! Trying now
Good work!

Isn't the syndicate shutdown animation the original samsung shutdown? I'm confused here...

Its close to it, but the next thing to add is a blue pulse either under all graphcs and text or just the "s". Just learning how to use after effects to animate and render a .png sequence for me and modifying the desc to make it loop till the phone boots.

I actually edited my srf 1.2 to include this when flashing. So technically this is my stock boot ani. Still working on a blue pulsing background for it in adobe after effects. I will modify the OP when done.
I'm digging it, nice clean boot up and matches the shutdown animation well on srf1.2
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
I'm not sure why you guys did this, when I've posted the original SyndicateROM animation that matches the shutdown several times... I'm responsible for the S + text, and the loop is thanks to Pseudoremora.
The loop is nice, if you ask me. I'm using this animation right now.

Before bed, I give you some MIUI and ICS lovin'. Here are the Roboto / ICS Fonts packaged up all ready for Theme Manager.
Enjoy!

Whole new reason for CM7 I think. Unless there is a way to put this in somewhere without MIUI or a theme manager

Just found this
http://rootzwiki.com/showthread.php?8601-Roboto-Font-from-ICS-Download
How to get the ICS Roboto fonts on any device.
Got it to work on my phone. Upon first opening the app it said there wasn't enough room to make a backup and to try again later (App automatically backs up stock fonts) I then reopened and it worked fine. Used my computer to put the fonts package into the folder and rebooted. Make sure fast boot isn't checked in the settings of the app. I found it on accident before I rebooted. I don't think we can use that on the Revo.
i take it you havent seen the thread we created in the android themes section..lol

I generally stay in my own little nook here in the Revo area. lol And the Triumph forums for my girlfriends phone. I adore the fonts though way to go. Gonna head over and thank ya on your thread. lol
I would like to keep this XDA so the creators get credit where it's due.

Yup yup

Stock is too bright and shows too much color banding
Adjusted the gamma on the images. Made darker and colors little more vibrant
Enjoy
Install:
Flash threw CWR
Original stock animation included if for some reason u want it back
Alternate install methods [root required]
Use the bootanimation.zip below
Place in data/local folder then reboot
no need to set permissions leave as is
this will bypass default animation and when you want to revert back simply delete from local folder and will default back to stock
I pressed the thanks button but wanted to say Thanks again! looks brilliant! finally I can enjoy that bootanimation the way it should've looked!
I also want to say Thanks! Very nice to see no banding at boot and no more washed out colors!
never has a boot animation say "oooooooo" before. brilliant work! this is what it was supposed to look like!

There are also links in a thread I opened up (not taking credit for them). I think the topic is better here though . The new boot animation is beautiful, this is what Google should've aimed for. Next steps? Get Developers to use this boot animation over the stock ICS one... How should we go about that? Maybe PM them
thank you...I've always hated how pale & washed out the colors looked in the stock animation...wonderful job!!!
What can I say? I'ts just amazing!! =) Thx)

I said I wasn't taking credit for them. And I know -_-. It is just an alternate reference just in case (you NEVER know). Returning to the actual point I was making... This needs to incorporated this into all of the ICS ROMs over the original boot animation. Agreed?
