Which method can lazy people learn to use search?

Yep, that's the ONLY "do it yourself" method I know of so far.

The rom wasn't even rooted! Poster put link to root explorer apk on the first post.
His sig even said "Follow the rules".. One of those preach but don't practice types of guy..
It's loosers like him that spam the boards constantly.. Good riddance to bad rubbish!
i dont know what went inside his mind and attached the apk file of root explorer and forgot to root the rom lol

he put warez .. root explorer is paid apk

is it for custom or stock kernel?
The ROM was Rooted, but "Su" didn't worked. I had to install Superuser from market.
Now I am using second version of GingerEricsson. Working fine.
Can anyone explain me why his thread has desappeared? I didn't get it yet.

Yes. It said the ROM was also for stock kernel.

Lol. Probably not. Seems starting a thread and/or ignoring answers is easier.
@op: ppl started answering since post #2... warez, or paid apps, being included in custom roms (for free ) is not allowed here. Actually, all warez are not allowed.

it's funny to see how much some people are blind. right in that forum, there is a particular pinned thread....
Try SmartFlash tool
It does take a little work but I found that using the SmartFlash tool worked very well for me.
My Optimus Black is now rooted on 2.3.4 v20i.
I can't post a direct link to the instructions I used as I'm a noob here and this is just my first post, but if you search for "Root LG P970 with Smart Flash Tool" you'll find the instructions and links you need to do it right.
