I know I have skimmed threw some other peoples posts asking how to fix there BT dropping randomly on the thrill. I can't find any of the old posts so I appologies for possably double posting.
The answer was allway " just install another BT stack". So my question is where do we obtain a new BT stack? Is there any info on installing or is it simply click and go? Anyone have any usefull info on this?

Use search...it will amaze you how many times this exact question has been answered, and this shouldn't be in development anyway. I feel like a jerk for saying this, but seriously when there is a general section and Q&A section at the same screen you click development, how stupid do people have to be to keep choosing the wrong section?

Is your rom done yet. Is it working?

No. I can't get it to install for some odd reason! I'm thinking about starting a new rom without sense.

Hey gang,
I'll admit, I'm a total noob when it comes to XDA and the whole world of Android modding in general but I have a pretty simple question to ask. Does anyone know of a WORKING Voice Dial.apk or free voice dial app that will work with a bluetooth headset? I live in Ontario Canada and it's law here that we cannot use our phone while driving unless it's with a handsfree (i.e. Bluetooth device.) Normally I wouldn't care but I'm a delivery driver by trade so this feature is EXTREMELY important to me.
I've tried several great roms and my thanks to all the devs on here for all the time and effort spent on them, but, if I don't get a working app soon or a way to port a working .apk I'll have to go back to my old phone as I can;t afford the $500 fine if I get caught. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Regards..
Couldn't you just use Google voice? Unless you don't have data.... the other thing is that I haven't even tried it myself, I thought I might suggest it other than that, I'll have to do some searching

Thanks for the response!! Unfotunately no Google Voice still requires you to handle the phone to start it as well as requires a subscription to actually call phones. It's kind of like skype that way. I just wish samsung hadn't excluded it from the original firmware as I really do like the phone other that that one issue. Problem is that's a REALLY big issue for me. As I said, any help is definitely appreciated.
Grr, I think Samsung finally got the voice dialing on the S2 and S3.... but I digress
Try Voice Speed Dial on the Google Play Store. It costs around $3, but it's something to start with. Reviews look OK, but I haven't tried it (too cheap to pay the moneys lol).

Thanks! I did a google search and found an article on the HTC support site. It says that you have to pair with a device via bluetooth before you are able to transfer files. That's really odd because I have never had to do this before with any of my other android devices.

Good luck spent hr with Att cuz it wouldn't pair with galaxy note, galaxy exhibit, or HTC inspire without out that app.

I see. I haven't tried to pair it with anything yet, but this should be something brought up to HTCs attention if it affects all Firsts
Call HTC support and reported issue they are checking into it.

sure is. the OP just didn't seem to agree that he broke the rules, that's why I tried to explain, and seems like he took it too personal.

I was speaking on the fighting between the two of you and please do not continue it with me. Both sides were in the wrong and if not stopped then we will have bigger issues to deal with

I saw it as N, but never use nfc, so didn't realize. There was no way i could search it.
Plus, the other guy already helped me out, so this answer wasn't necessary.
This thread is meant to ask questions, it is for those who dont know the stuff.
I appreciate a senior member like you, help people, but you if you are to answer, then you should think about what you are posting.
Thanks.

Seeing as rule number one here is to search you could've found the answer as since 4.3 came out it has been asked numerous times so, really, this entire thread shouldn't exist
Might be worth adding '[SOLVED - NFC ICON] to the thread title so people searching can find it in future
