History behind the Soft-Mod
Hello all, this is my first and im sure last soft-mod for this phone i was setting up this ROM for my sis's phone as a backup but i figured that since its very light on the system why not share it. It is designed for people who have already retired the gt540 and using it as a spare no frills just a light rom i kinda made it look like vanilla gb(AOSP ROM style)

-Best use 150 MB system partition size
-ROM is deodexed for your theming needs.
-Rom is backedup with clockworkmod 2.5.1.8 so files does not have the yaffs2 extension so it should be better, can use both restore method or fastboot, but pls remember to restore the data too!

Recovery backup/restore method
1. Download this

2.Unzip it into a folder on the sdcard called clockworkmod
(should look like /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/***********)
3.Boot into recovery and restore
4.Reboot

Atleast deodex and optimize apps (png) not just change apps and use supershitcharger.... i made a lite version too, but cant share cos everyone able to do it...

Edit: seems to have probs with mms.apk fc's every time i receive a sms i suggest you guys to change to go sms if you encounter these problems

you could say so but keep in mind that this is so far a lite rom mainly for calling and texting so i removed a lot of things.

Hi thanks for this ROM. I find locus pro will not open and browser crashes with a message saying internet has stopped working - though it is still connected to wifi. Play Store stops working too.

I have trying on this version, and some bug I found with some soft don't work: Blank market, Think free Office, Joint the internet very interruption, some soft not configure with runing on this ROM.

Ok, so I fixed the activity issue. you know "some activities cant be launched(happens when adding gaccount, notes, sms(when going in thread view), browser, etc)"
Modded phone.apk to fix mic now I get fcs (phone and sms)
I know some mates that can do some team graphics
I found out that Overclock using SetCPU will crash the rom, and there is no way to fix it unless wipe everything and reflash :| but that's a minor bug, the rom is quite smooth at 600Mhz.
WE should make a teams for this like this team for miui then team for kernel also ICS Aosp etc
Mic in call is fixed!!

Oh and I just got a message from TMinh telling me that he fixed 'keyboard bottom not showing' error.. The only thing left is mediascanner which somehow works in Tan's port but doesnt work in mine... anyway we are planning to merge these and we soon are gonna upload a beta(hopefully tomorrow, or the day after)

Great performance, stable (uptil now ) and great battery life
especially the performance is soo good
just ran Antutu benchmark and got these scores
never got above 1700 on any previous ROM :good::good:

Edit : Seems you could not get the Xperia keyboard working.
There's a folder named XT9 in /usr which you need and xt9engine.so in /lib. Two necessary things for Xperia keyboard. ( obviously you need the apk in /app too :thumbup:

I haven't tried this rom yet, but you could try to bake this in your rom.
The standard init.d scripts like: zipalign, swapon, loopy smoothness etc. something like this Flashable zip
And the V6Supercharger script with pre tweaked services.jar
Less as possible system apps!
and then odex your Rom
hope it helps
Edit: this could be usefull too: AGps patch
If you think you can do this better, then i'm not holding you back.

You don't get 100% themed or ported ROM in the first edition itself. You test it, give review , ask the developer to port new apps.
I'm sure you must have made some good ROMs and put them in ZIP.
And it's because of people like you we don't always get new guys into ROM cooking.
It's not that easy business. Have some respect for the developer community atleast and instead of making new guys feel sorry for posting a new thing, encourage them.

Some battery life advice:
1.Disable Google account sync - only sync when you add a new Contact or want to read your Gmail,
2.Keep Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS disabled until you really need them,
3.Check to see if your kernel isn't overclocking your CPU - some kernels automatically 'clock' the chip from the moment the phone turns on,
4.Check your display settings re: kernel - some settings can run 'display enhancers' that make your graphics look great whilst chewing battery,
5.Disable Fast Dormancy for your modem - there's plenty of threads/posts about this,
6.Go into Settings->Apps and make sure there aren't a heap of apps running in background (Task Manager helps with this 'apps killing' too)

Here is the tip how to get the persistent theme at first start :
Type this in build.prop :
persist.sys.themeId=XperiaZui
persist.sys.themePackageName=com.enwno.theme.xperiazui
You have to put the exact name of the theme to work .

the entries are allready enter from begin but it doesn't work.... i don't know what i'm doing wrong
i found why the theme doesn't get applied at first boot
because the app is not with the same name like is typed in build.prop
you see
persist.sys.themeId=TouchWiz 5.0 <-- you typed here the name of the app but the file is not writed with this name
you need to rename the app with that name you had typed at first entry.
at themeId you write the name of the file
at themePackageName you write the name of the package.
i hope you got it now
