Amazon wireless (early) upgrade discounts - Motorola Droid Bionic

I just got my Bionic on a new contract with verizon through amazon wireless a few months back. They're currently running a special discount on upgrades, even if you aren't due yet.
It's showing the Bionic for $100. HTC Rezound for $160. Galaxy Nexus for $260. Droid Razr for $200 and Maxx for $230.
Amazon wireless is definitely being fairly competitive it would seem. I can't say I've seen these kinds of deals through the actual wireless providers. I figured This might be useful for someone looking to get to a Bionic or those that might feel like moving to one of the newer models. A couple of those options are tempting, but the Droid 4 has been the most tempting upcoming device for me so I know I should hold off for now at least.

Doesn't work for either of my lines. It does look like they changed when you check for your availability, you sure you just didn't get to that yet? I have an upgrade available through Verizon, but I have to wait a few months to use Amazon or any other retailers.

Where to buy the Droid 3 locally?

The Droid 3 has been out of stock on Verizon's Web site for a while now. I called the Verizon Wireless store, and they say that there are none to be had in the entire country! The only way to order it is by special order? Why doesn't anyone stock these? Are they that popular, even with all the 4G phones?
My local Radio Shack says that he had ordered one for someone last Friday, but he ended up taking the Droid-2 instead. He told me that I could take his, but I'm skeptical -- if Verizon Wireless says it takes a week to two weeks to get one, then how could Radio Shack get one? He says I'll have it tomorrow, but if it's such a popular phone, then why not stock it?
I believe the D3 did much better then Verizon had anticipated. I don't think they had enough units ready to meet the demand.
Yea, I'm just wondering why they never ramped back up production. The D3 was released back in mid-July, and here it is almost October, and it's still nowhere to be found. The funny thing is that I never saw it promoted once. I've wanted it since it was rumored to have the extra row of keys, since 3/4 of my job is a Linux sysAdmin, and I am always SSH'ing into servers, and hate having to use the Alt. key on my D2G.
I have been eligible for upgrade since the beginning of August, and have been waiting for the right deal to come along, and the Radio Shack deal can't be beat at $100 off.
Although, at this point, who ever gets it in stock first, gets my cash!!
Weird.. My girlfriend got hers like 3 days after I went into the store and ordered it.
I picked mine up from Costco. There are like a dozen Verizon stores within about 15 miles of my house and they have all been sold out.
Costco carries it AND unlike Verizon; you only pay tax on the price on display...not the retail price of the phone! I paid $141 including tax on my phone! A HUGE break!

Cheapest place online to buy the droid bionic

Where is the cheapest place online to buy the droid bionic?
Amazon's wireless site is really cheap, if you have an upgrade available. And it's legit to, don't have to have any worries.

i will sell you mine
Can't say enough good things about Swappa. I have sold a couple of devices and bought my Bionis from there out of contract. Should have it next week.
I bought mine off contract from ebay. I got it from Gazelle who is a company that buys phones and resells them. I paid $326 shipped and the phone cam in original box and looked virtually unused except for a small mark on the edge of the back but i was really looking for it. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

moto x 1st gen discounts?

with the new generation of the moto x being released, are there any discounts or coupon codes for the first generation moto x through motomaker?
Once you say "any kind" you open yourself up to stuff like this:
http://www.motorolatradein.com/
I ran through the questionnaire and it offered me $60 for mine. Needless to say when you can get 3 times that much for just the screen that's not a very good offer.
I'd wait a while. I'm sure something better will be offered.
I am on Republic Wireless. They have always sold the Moto X for $299 off contract but they won't have it as early as other carriers due to their hybrid WiFi/cell ROM, which takes some extra time to roll out. If you want inexpensive service ($40/mo. is their most expensive plan) and are willing to do your own tech support you may want to consider them.
There are caveats to consider. So search the site for "caveats" and you will see what they are.
thanks. I'm looking for an off-contract gsm 64gb version. motomaker had a $100 off coupon a few months ago, just wondering if another coupon exists thats still valid.
Was wondering the same myself.
Probably, but too late, I already preordered the new Moto G. I'm interested in that dual speakers. It'll make a good backup device.
I'm also waiting for discounts! I don't like that they made the new Moto X big so I'm sticking with the old one!
I think all the discounts were the ones already run the last few months. It sounds like many configurations of the original X (TOX?) are already sold out. I think they have been doing pretty decent inventory control for a while in anticipation of the changeover. I could be wrong, but a huge fire sale on large volume would surprise me. I know configurations, such as 64 GB, for some services are already sold out.

Bought a Nexus 6 - Can I sell my Droid Turbo (thats on contract)

Hey all, my Nexus 6 will be here tomorrow, and I want to make sure that I understand what I can do with my Turbo. I bought a Turbo Nov 1, on contact with my work account, I'm assuming I can simply put my Nano-Sim into the N6 and off I go. But, I would like to sell my Turbo to off-set the costs of the N6, am I going to have any issues with that? The phone would be clean to sell correct?
Thanks in advance.

Yes
You can sell it. The phone will be clean.
yes, as long as you arent doing one of those payment plan deals with verizon.
Excellent, hoping to recoup most if not all my investment into the N6. Got the 64gig Ballistic Turbo.
I suppose that really depends on how you purchased the Turbo. did you buy it literally on contract? or did you do the verizon Edge plan? or did you do a 2 year contract?
Regardless of what you did if you sold the phone it would be CLEAN however if you did something like cancel your contract for your 2 year contract with out paying the ETF and your account goes into collections OR if you are on EDGE and you stop paying the device portion of your device payment plan then in both instances the IMEI will be black listed and the person you sold it to will be stuck with paperweight phone.
so you bought the droid turbo and then did what, pay full price for the nexus 6 as well?
You should do a comparison when you get the nexus. I've ordered a Nexus knowing very well that I'm probably going to get a Turbo eventually. Depends on if I can survive without root or if Motorola ever makes a developer edition. Best case scenario the nexus battery lasts long enough and I won't even bother

I have both the Turbo and N6. Yes the Turbo battery is better, but that is the only thing going for it. The N6 absolutely blows it away in every other category IMO. The best part is that I feel great giving big red the finger using an unlocked and rooted device with unlimited data on their network

Yeah, I bought the Droid Turbo cause the Nexus wasn't out, then I bought the Nexus at full price. I really wanted the nexus, and don't have the patience for it to come to Verizon, so I bought the Turbo and now the N6.
I bought the Turbo by simply signing another 2 year contract. I have a work account, so I buy the hardware they pay for the line. So I renewed the contract and got the 64gig Ballistic Turbo for 50 buck as a 200 trade in of my old phone.
Just wanted to make sure I could still sell the phone after I got my nexus up and running. Otherwise I'll have to sell the N6, wife won't let me keep both.

$200 Trade in Value for Bionic on the Droid Turbo 2

I had my old Bionic sitting my desk for 2+ years since switching to the Galaxy s4. When I was looking at upgrades at the Verizon store (should I go iPhone, stick w/ Samsung) I also looked at the Droid Turbo 2. On that phone only, I got $200 for my Bionic + a $100 upgrade promo. My DT2 is costing me $9.33 on device payment. I thought it was worth mentioning.
Verizon with tradeins has a specific web page, I was offered no more than 200 trade in for my mint (Verizon refurbished it after all... and its my seventh one since they are the worst at phone refurbish.. I paid 700 for this s4 vzw and i own two bionics, all paid cash. 200 is a trade in for a upgrade to make you feel good and i went through every channel to get to a corporate lady that took months. Hey, I'm with you same phones.. etc.. but youre not getting anything trading it... honestly.. imo this is obviously but you can get that credit just because of the standard 200, 100 for trade in plus new contract
