I tried, asking this on ICSSGS development thread, but it got lost in that huge thread there, hence asking here again.

I have come across a situation while using RC3.1.
When I switch on the Airplane mode and then switch on the wifi connection, the wifi does not work.
Phone is not able to connect to the wifi network.
After this, if I switch of the Airplane mode, still wifi is not recognised. I need to reboot the phone to get connected to my wifi network.
Has anyonce encountered this? Any solution to overcome the problem?

Hi guys,
I followed the steps on this thread here..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1073854
And ever since Wifi causes infinite reboots.
If I put the tab in flight mode then the device works fine.
I wanted to put a sim card in to have some sort of connectivity while I tried to figure out the issue. Unfortunately as we know that will not work in flight mode.
I can turn off wifi without flight but it reboots then wifi comes back on so I go back to infinite loop.
Is there any way I can fully disable wifi but have the sim run or does anyone know of a solution to fix the reboot issue with wifi.
thanks in advance.
All of a sudden beginning yesterday my captivate can no longer connect to the wifi network at work. Other users can connect to the network fine and I'm able to see the network from my phone and connect to other networks just fine but when I try to connect to the work network it just shows connecting with the round circle containing 2 curved arrows and then disconnected, scanning, and connecting again.
I have stock 2.3.5 and have tried wifi fixing apps and power cycling without success... Basically I'm stuck at the point of a hard reset unless anyone has any other suggestions for why I'm unable to access one specific wifi channel all of a sudden...
Thanks!
I meet wifi problem like yours, cause of the poor network switcher. After switcher reboot, phone can connect it.
Try Airplane mode on the phone, or switching WiFi on and off. Rebooting router helps too - but probably not an option at work.
It's the router/access point. Reboot that and all is good.
After recently updating to 4.3 I lose the wifi settings of my network at home when exiting airplane mode.
Does anyone else have this annoying problem or know of a fix.?
Many thanks
Hello All,
I have a T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 stock. I am in an area with hundreds of wifi SSIDs and I connect to 2 of them. I have noticed that if I walk away from wifi connectivity it it goes to back to LTE but it will no longer connect back when I am back in range of the wifi..
I look at my wifi settings and see if I can scan for any wifi networks, but i get nothing..
I have to restart the phone or put it in and out of airplane mode to get it to work again..
Any Ideas? I do use wifi calling.
Have you looked at this thread. It's usually where I send people with wifi issues first

This is driving me crazy..
I leave airplane mode on when I have a wifi connection (at the house). If I leave the house and forget to toggle off airplane mode, meaning wifi is on but NOT connected.. airplane mode is ON.. once I toggle airplane mode off to establish a connection, the phone will be unable to establish any data connection until I restart..
If I disable my sim and re-enable it will work.
Does this happen to anyone else?
Is this clear enough?

This happens to me on the pixel 7 pro. After a flight when I turn airplane mode off it takes ages for the phone to pick up signal and I have both physical sim and Esim
For me it seems related to wifi. If I have a wifi connection and turn off airplane mode, it will get a signal. If I lose wifi connection with airplane mode on and then turn it off it will never establish a connection.
Anyone experience this?
