Og droid with project elite 4.2, ruby rom 2.0.2 boot.img which contains the kernel, v6 supercharger rc5 option 3, and launcher pro is ridiculous. I know I promised a few the link which I'm working on, but if you want I can send it your way.

Hey there community !
i was looking at the portal , and I found they ported tw4 launcher to the i9000 running ICS .. So i took the liberty of flashing the apk on my gsm nexus S, and SUCESS ! it works perfect !
Here is the original thread ~>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1520436
Follow the steps in the thread, download the flashable ZIP file, flash it through CWM and you should have tw4 launcher !
I'm currently running a heavily modded version of 4.0.4, so that means that it should be good to go on pretty much any ics rom (except miui) on our nexus S !
go ahead and test it out for yourself !
I give all credit to XDA user PaWill (where ever he got it from)
enjoy
It works on my ns4G but I have to change dpi to 230

For the record Rooster85 is awesome and AOKP is awesome but as he clearly states in that thread's OP he had no part in the ROM's development.
Can you install this with out rooting or flashing a rom?

The Widgets won't resize. That's really unfortunate considering Google's widgets are abnormal sizes.

Liberty3 2.0 allows you to remove the Blur launcher and use an AOSP one in its place. For the battery life especially, Liberty3 was my favorite GB ROM before I went to ICS.
Liberty3 2.0 ROM
I agree with pgzerwer, ROMs are much easier to find and navigate over at Droid Forums.

This same feature is in mavrom. Mavrom has continued support. Liberty does not. Just trying to help you make a decision.

Nice! Didn't know that! I wished Liberty still had support when I used it. I'd suggest Mav now that I have this knowledge, unless max battery life is worth trading support...even though Liberty seems pretty decent as it sits.

The developer has tweeted that an update to Eclipse based on the .904 leak is in the works and ready for testing
for now I would run the .902 eclipse
Eclipse most def.

I've been using Liberty for a while. I tried some of the Gummy releases as they are more or less the same thing but ICS, but the stability wasn't there yet. I just restored my Safestrap backup of Liberty I took before installing Gummy, though.
I went from AOKP to stock .902 GB.... Now im updating to .904 and trying gummy cherry
I'm running the .904 build if eclipse and its really awesome so far. only problem is the volume buttons don't work but that is remedied by a using an volume control program like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rubberbigpepper.VolumeControl. but other than that its the best GB ROM there is in my opinion.
Edit... someone posted a fix for the volume buttons in page 6 of the eclipse forum. eclipserom.com/vforum/showthread.php?1612-ROM-Eclipse-Bionic-Build-01-4-26-12 i'm sure nitro will update the ROM soon with the fix.

I have seen these types of threads in other device forums that have been stickied so I figured I should get one going over here in the Bionic section. I will try to keep this updated as much as possible.

Just updated OP with Eclipse 3.0 by NitroGlycerine Rom Review!
I'm kind of stuck on which ROM I should try to flash because most of the ROMs I flash on my always get stuck on the boot animation , I'm not sure if its because I used to use SafeStrap Recovery. Any help though, it would be greatly apricated.
Your supposed to have a unlocked bootloader when installing anyone of these new Roms . use myth tools to unlock your bootloader.

Oh thanks ! Do you have any good recommendations on recoverys with links and for ROMs also ?
Twrp is good and carbon is my personal favorite but try one at a time to see which one is good for you its all about your personal taste.

The new touch cwm works real good and I run PACMAN.
Sent from my PACMAN MATRIX HD MAXX
My current favourite is HoloBlur with PurePerformance. The battery life is quite good, it's fast, and stable.
I run CWM touch recovery.
For ROMs: HoloBlur X (PurePerformance) is a beatiful stock based ROM to get your feet wet.
CM 10.2 and BeanStalk 4.3 are the 2 best custom ROMs I have ever had the pleasure of using. Carbon is great but the battery life just isn't up to par with BeanStalk or CM for me, plus since Carbon jumped ship to 4.3, a lot of features don't work like Trebuchet settings and PIE. PACman 4.3 is awesome but I would wait for a new nightly from Skeevy that reports better battery. As it is now, it is too laggy and unstable to use everyday (for me at least). Don't even mess with Uxylon or SLIM, play store and mobile data are broken on those.
If you don't mind freezes/crashes once in a while, you could run CM10.2 nightlies and automatically update them using Cyandelta. If you want to go CM nightlies, use CWM 3.0.3.4 (in the last 2-3 pages of the 3.0.3.2 thread) but if you're going to use PAC or Holoblur, you can use CWM 3.0.3.6 touch.

illusion is really good too

Yeah, the RAZR TWRP has messed up touch points, and CWM touch works fine, unless you're on the official CM nightlies and updating with Cyandelta like me.
I still don't know what the hell cyan delta is lol.
