hey guys .... m on gx17 its the best for me but the issue i have is that wifi doesnt work... has anybody found a way to get wifi working on v17 other than flashing nae? alfs is just so mch better.... pls help....xperia fan? anybdy...

I got no problem with GingerXperia v17,everything is working.. WIFI too..installed on nAa Kernel 2.6.29.6-nAa- 06b. Previously installed GingerDX v21 on this Kernel..lost wifi.. so go back to GingerXperia v17 and now all is fine..
it's fast too..Thanks to the Developers.

Yes atifroyo is better than kuyadroid.I one day have kuyadroid but kuyadroid have a lot of bugs.
I would like to try Atifroyo but I can't seem to find any download links for the rom.

When you can t find atifroyo install gingerdx stock wersion,always can you chance the rom.

I suggest for stock kernel , opt for PrimeHD v8 (I myself was using it till a few days ago)
I then suggest after PrimeHD , GingerDx v026.
Maybe you can get even better performance on Froyo.

Yes Prime HD and GingeDX are really fast even for stock kernel

So yeah, can anybody give me a push where to start or what to do to make GingerDX work on Alfs for Cm7 kernel. I mean it works but WiFi gets error. Dont tell me to use Alfs for GDX. I dont use Alfs for GDX and stock kernel cuz my phones wifi dont work with those kernels. Its not error but when downloading something WiFi just stucks after downloading maybe 5mb.

Cant u read at all?
I dont use Alfs for GDX and stock kernel cuz my phones wifi dont work with those kernels. Its not error but when downloading something WiFi just stucks after downloading maybe 5mb.
Alfs kernel is generally for gingerDX.CM 7 roms are builded from hero sources what use wlan(.ko) for wifi but X8 uses tiwlian(.ko).Since the X8 have own sources most roms are build from them(so gingerDX too).Wifi just not work if you dont use kernel that fits rom(gingerDX or CM7).If it stucks at 5mb then your wifi isn't working correctly.Change rom if you want use Alfs CM7 kernel.More i cant say or suggest.

Actually GDX is built from hero sources. Its CM7 that's built from X8 sources.

There is a file called Wifi fix for some users in the thread. Download it and flash it after ROM.
