I've seen guides for installing Bravia Engine, but can't seem to download the files for the Note. Does anyone have the files? I'd really appreciate it if you could post or email them. Also, if the process for the Note is different in any way, I'd like to know. I'm working on a process for reducing macro-blocking in compressed video for Exynos-based devices; and setting up Bravia Engine could really help. Thanks in advance for anyone interested in helping.

Rocket ROM includes those, but I have no idea which files.

It's "be_movie" and "be_photo" in "/system/etc/" I'm not in a position where I can flash the ROM or extract the files from it. If you're running it, could you please zip and upload it?

If it is possible please let me know

Not possible. All Honeycomb apps require the 3.0 update system files so we cane even install them.

I want to know if anyone out there knows how to port a rom from the Samsung vibrant. The rom is called simply galaxy v2.7.2, it is a very fast rom. Here is the link:http://www.multiupload.com/PJIZ8D3PT6
Please reply back ASAP and thank you in advance
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
not sure if its the same rom or not but there already is a simply galaxy for the captivate, you would have to see who makes each rom
Its not to difficult to get one to work but it breaks a few features between the two phones i think
Thank you but I don't think the rom your talking about is completely stable. Plus the rom that I posted was constantly updated. Please if you can port, then let me know. Or can you find someone who can.

easy stuff
I really don't know how to port it, can you just please do it.

'porting' it would require you to download the rom zip
open rom zip with 7zip (do not extract)
open up a kernel zip that you want to use (must match 2.1, 2.2, or 2.3 to corresponding rom version)
drag n drop zImage from the kernel zip into the updates folder in the rom zip
do the same thing with modem.bin file from a modem zip
if you want the phone to be recognized as an sgh-i897 you need to open up /system/build.prop with notepad (i use notepad++ for everything on windows boxes) and make all references to T959 say i897

First off this is quite an amazing ROM. I was wondering if anybody has the "missing fonts" that I could install so that Photoshop Touch can work.
I'm assuming one of our XDA members has zipped this and hoping someone can help.
Thank you again in advance.

Hi guys
Recently, I found a post about removing all the gb orange styles on ics/jb roms. Unfortunately, the mod provided in the Link is not for every device. The only way is follow the instructions and modify the system files by ourselves. I don't have that skill to make such a heavy modification, so if someone know how to do the job, can you please make this mod for our 4x?i am sure a lot of people hate the old gb style.

...for us like noobs the option to choose which apps to be remove is critical and so with the libs.
...does this tool have option for one time flashed and remove whatever unneccessary bloat apps ?
...a default selection by experts

You are safe.
