I cannot proceed with restoring my Streak 7 without the following information. Please, this is not meant to be a discussion thread. If you can help out, thanks, if not, please contribute any discussion in my other thread "NVFlash Only Method of Access". This will help to keep the information somewhat organized.
1) I need the partition data from a working unit
Mode: nvflash (Vol Up & Down while plugging in usb)
Command: nvflash --getpartitiontable partitiontable.txt
The outputted text file should specify the exact sectors that the images need to be written to.
Download NVFlash here: NVFlash
2) I need the actual partition img files for all but the System, Boot, & Recovery.
Mode: SAA (nvflash)
Command: nvflash --read x part-x.img (where x is the partition number so you will have to run the command for each partition 2-7)
If you can pull these files for me, I can provide an upload method if you do not have your own.
Again, thank you.
check your pm for other files.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Except I am not able to download any of the part files. I was able to get the bootloader so the path is accurate, I think the problem is that the .img files will not transport, you will have to zip them. I had the same problem on my server.
try the img files now.

Awesome! Downloading now.
No p15.img. Just about got everything else downloaded, can you get that posted up as well? Thanks again!
See next post. Crappy internet connection.
I have successfuly restored my Streak 7 using nvflash and the img files provided by Runee. I will work up a how-to as soon as I can make the img files available. Currently I am trying to restore root, but it is not going too well.
Patience and cooperation have been the keys to my success.
It may be a while before I can make the img files available, if someone can get them online before me, awesome. You will need to start with the correct bct and cfg files. I have them included in the nvflash zip below. Also I have created a batch command included in the zip (Restore.bat) that you can launch once you have the 2 through 14 img files in the same directory as nvflash.exe.

Hello to all.
My phone is locked on by forcing me to remove the battery. I rebooted the phone and you are stuck at the loading screen.
I reloaded the OS (version JW7_JW2_JW1) and recovery(version CF-Root-v4.4-XX_OXA_JW4-CWM3RFS) through ODIN, but the phone still does not start.
I booted the phone into recovery and made a backup. I was able to manually copy all the documents.
From the backup of the recovery, through the tool unyaffs, I recovered the contact database (contacts2.db).
Now I started the trouble because I can not find the message database. I have read that you should find in the folder com.android.providers.telephony, but the folder is empty.
Fearful of losing these files, I used the tool ddrescue as follows:
Code:
sudo ddrescue -r 3 /dev/sdb /my_path/image /my_path/logfile
I then mounted the file image with the command:
Code:
sudo mount image /mnt
To my surprise, I do not see all the hidden files that is able to recover the recovery.
Do you think that I've lost forever the phone's message?
Thanks in advance for any help you will be able to provide me, hello to everyone.
PS: I apologize for any inaccuracies or technical errors, but they are new to this type of work.

Hello to all.
I was able to recover and restore the data of the Memo. The database is located in the folder com.sec.android.app.memo
No one has an idea on how to restart the phone and try to recover / export of SMS?
Thank you all.
Hey guys,
I've been trying to figure out which is the recovery partition (mmcblk0pXX) on my t599v by looking on the internet / on the forum, but I can't find this information.
I also tried to install apps like Partition Table but the recovery partition is not shown.
I've seen on this forum that recovery is on mmcblk0p21 for the t599, but I confirm that it is not the same for the t599v ( this partition being used for something else )
( Actually, I need this to be able to flash .img file ( as recovery.img ) using android terminal emulator, since I have lots of troubles with Odin )
*** I'm using a stock rooted ROM and the stock recovery ( which is working )****
So here i'll need some expert advide! I hope that someone can help me!
Thanks!
I'm one of the earlier members with a T599V and I pulled a recovery.img from the mmcblk0p21 partition. Look at the latter, that's recovery.fstab pulled from the stock recovery image; we all use the same recovery file, so it'd share the same recovery.fstab which would mean it's being flashed to the same partition as the T599, T599N.
hello, i was making changes to my motoE5 and ended up doing nonsense. I ended up breaking my phone's partition and I can't flash any files via fastboot as I can't start custom ROMs or start twrp either. could someone with a good heart back up the mmcblk0 partition and send it so i can recover my phone? if you want to help me you can back up via the TWRP terminal using the following command:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 | gzip > /external_sd/mmcblk0.img.gz

Click to collapse
this command will make a copy of the mmcblk0 partition and compress it in gz to the SD card, and you will be able to send it to the cloud (GoogleDriver or one of your choice).
note: I recommend that you back up the data partition using TWRP and then format it so that no one has access to your personal files. anyone who can help me I appreciate it.
note2: this can not only help me but it can also help other people who are having the same problem.
my cell phone is moto e5 XT1944-4 retail
