Is anyone having any luck find and actually installing any version of Chrome-to-Phone. I have tried version 1.7, 2.0, and 2.1.0 and have had zero luck.
If you do have it mind loading the APK? I know this was designed for froyo but I had 1.7 working on my old 2.1 droid.
Thanks in advance.

You need Froyo, as far as I know. You can try Fennec that has the link sync option.
I use an app called linkpush. It uses Google talk to receive links sent from an addon to most of the major browsers. Its pretty much just like chrome to phone.

So I installed the Gingerbread 2.3 ROM on my Droid1. It's my old phone so tinkering with it and ROM'ing it doesn't matter.
I got Gingerbread on it, 2.2.7 Market, Gapps, everything works fine following a factory reset and a cache wipe.
however within the first 30 minutes or so, it seems like Google blocks my account from doing anything, such as installing apps(browsing apps works fine), logging into Google Talk and using Google services. Gmail "push" stops also.. have to force a refresh.
I opened up the build.prop and notice a bunch of 'test-keys' entries.. could they be actively looking for this and blocking it?
Anyone able to open the build.prop on a Nexus S and check things out?
How did you get GB one it do u have a link for download ill flash and see whats going on

I have recently rooted my new lg g2x, to get rid of the bloat ware (tmobile tv, myaccout, appPack etc.)
when I try to update the stock froyo software it says, "Connection failed caused by Authentication error."
I have unrooted, and reset the phone to factory settings and still says the same thing.
can someone help me with this??
much appreciated
Wrong forum
Soon? Hahahahahahahaha right
If it's anything like the O2X then it pretty much doesn't work
I don't think rooting alone will hinder an upgrade. You will loose root access after an upgrade though.
I also don't belive GB will be ready this side of summer. Persnally I'm just hoping for a patch for Froyo so that I can start trusting my phone as an alarmclock again...
+1 on a stable Froyo...
I'd rather have a stable and battery-friendly froyo than another unstable GB rom..
But hey!... both would be nice
I suppose there is already a leaked ROM out in the wild.. you should be able to update and then root! use google : "LG G2x Gingerbread" The first modaco thread. Use it in clockworkmod recovery!
You could try the leaked G2X Rom if you were desperate.
Just install CM7.

Got the same problem on my uk 3g xoom running 3.2... I think it may not like some nonstandard roms
I've got a rooted a Galaxy Tab 7", my ROM is HumberOS (P1000L - latin w/TV), Gingerbread 2.3.3 and my Netflix works great. I'm not sure, but I've seen in the Market's comment that the problem is the ROM.
anyone got this running on the DHD? am running pvt v5 rom but can't get it to run

Sky Go doesn't work with rooted devices... which sucks! There's an app called Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper which supposedly backs up your root access then temporarily unroots your phone. Just tried it on my DHD running RCMix 3D though and it didn't work.
Might or might not be a ROM thing.
