CPU Down Clock to 800 Mhz - LG Optimus Black

Hi,
How Can I Down Clock CPU to 800 Mhz ?
I'm on V20B and Rooted...

Hi
I think you can down clock your p970 by using the SetCPU apk.
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/setcpu-for-android-root-users/
I hope I could help
phil

I think you can also down clock using the Free app No frills CPU. search in the market.

Without a custom kernel, I doubt.

over clocking needs custom kernel. no need for downclocking. screen shot from stock cm kernel.

i think in ver 2.3.4, LGE was down CPU to 800mhz

duh!!no!!!!...why on earth will LG downclock the CPU in GB from FroYo???...2.3.4 is stock 1Ghz.
and downclocking can be done with setCPU, no frills CPU control, antutu's CPU master and the likes.

Post Benchmarks for Your NookColor

I just got Dalingrins newest kernel installed yesterday, and wow, its blazing fast!! I overclocked it to 1.3Ghz, and set the governor to interactive, and couldn't believe how fast it was compared to stock.
So I thought I would run some benchmarks to compare it to the 041811 kernel. My quadrants then were in the 1800's, and I had heard of people getting 3000's with the latest kernel. So here are my Quadrant/Linpack/AnTutu benchmarks that I just ran today, at 300-1300Mhz, with the interactive governor on Phiremods v6.1 ROM.

I think it would be awesome if we had a thread of peoples benchmarks to compare speeds on different roms/kernels. So if anyone who's interested could post their ROM/kernel, CPU speed, and then screenshots of the actual benchmark scores, that would be awesome. Thanks guys!

Post your CF-Bench scores here

Out of curiousity of what the nexus s scores, and because i know already what dual core phones score in the CF-Bench benchmarking app. id like to see what you all are scoring with my favorite single core phone, the nexus s. if you own other single core phones, please post theCF-Bench score here too. to start with, this is my first round of benching with this app. this is Trinity1.576ghz on top of the latest cm7 kang..

UV does not have effect on your benchmark scores ! (unlees you combine uv to get higher oc)

Ok,now I'm using antutu CPU master and I tried other apps but some didn't work..I think that kernel tuner is the best app for frequency and core control but on our device sometimes I get FC..

[Q] No cpu temparature sensor?

This mobile does not have cpu temparature sensor xD so how can i check my cpu temparature lol
hey bgveric1, I used this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sanels.tempcpuv2
or you can install SetCPU which has handy widgets that look even better. and you need an app for setting CPU freqs anyway if you are using an OC kernel.
Hi i tried it but it said no cpu senso detected
Are you sure? Both works for me, I tried just now.

But in all seriousness, every CPU needs a temperature sensor in order for thermal throttling to work.
Idk I installed some app and it said no cpu sensor

Hi everyone, can someone kindly write me the various steps of cpu frequency or attach a screenshot using CPU Spy?
Thanks.
CPU Spy isn't compatible with this phone yet.
