pop ups / scroll-able widgets or whatever

Not sure of the correct terminology but can somebody point me in the right direction.
I notice in many threads with screen shots there appears to be a way to have a scroll-able window on the tablet screen. Does this require a widget? Can you do this for any application? For example can you have your email inbox on a "window" within one of you tablet screens. Purpose being so you didn't have to "click" on the email button/icon to see your inbox.

Folder Orgazizer (app / widget) can allow you to place scrollable folders on your home screen. Is something like that what you're talking about? You have to enable the scrolling in the settings though.

Pure Calendar is a widget that allows scrolling ( provided you are running a compatible launcher). You can use it to check both tasks and calendar items.

[Q] Email on lock screen, gmail / corp

Any one have an app that will show email notifications of email, gmail / corp on the lock screen?
Not just email count, but a small snip of it..
I was looking for something native to the Bionic.

S Memo Widget gone?

I had a widget on my non TW launcher for quick notes.... but it got deleted and I can't get it back. Trying to add widget gives option for new blank note. I want an existing note.
From within SNote there is option to set as widget... but it starts up TW launcher and puts the widget there?

[Q] tonyp_4 ROM invisible widgets problem

Hi,
I'm having a problem with widgets and app icons on homescreens, after flashing ROM tonyp_4, latest build, had same problem with his build3 aswell...
Why all my widgets and app icons become invisible on main homescreen or any other homescreen when I try to add another widget or app icon on other empty homescreen? I have like 1 clock widget and 6 app icons in my main homescreen, number of homescreens is set to 3, and when I try to add anything on other 2 unused homescreens everything on main screen becomes invisible? It's still there, only invisible, I can still long-press widget for example and drag it around, but when I relise it, it's invisible again...
Any solutions?

Solved...just turned off "Fade Side Screens" option in Launcher/Homescreens...

Looking for a widget

Hey guys,
I'm looking for a widget that is like the action memo on the note 5. I want it to take the entire page on my homescreen and I can just start writing on it without it opening the app. I've seen some apps but they make me open the app then only preview my notes on the widget.
