Unable to uninstall app

Is there a way to manually remove a app? Iv installed an app called screen off and lock that wont uninstall. I just recieve a message stating its failed

Try Titanium Backup. Your phone needs to be rooted for this to work.
Also, there are quite a few uninstaller apps on the App Market.

Had the same problem.
Your phone must be rooted and you can find that app in your /system/app directory and delete the .apk and the .odex file with the same filename.
Reboot
For me was this the solution.

Data connection not working on JB

Today i flashed russian jb on my s advance and then rooted it and now my data connection is not working at all
Plzzz help calling is fine but internet is not working of any network

Check your settings for Access point in Mobile network. If there is non, set it up. Or ask you operater to give it to you.

Till acces points are ok i checked it will factory reset after rooting brick device?

No, factory reset will not brick rooted device.

mine solved after delete current APN, and then get the APN setting again from network provider.

Hi!
I want to use iptables (droidwall or avast) on my razr i, but everytime i try it i get an error "iptables Filter unknown command". Is there any solution? I tried also Customizing Scripts for droidwall but didn't worked.
I use the jb-homemade Version, installed busybox an iptables...

Try the fork afwall+, for me it works like a charm!

Did you enable the FW?? Enabled logs? It has to work - Is your device rooted? - It has to be rooted to use iptables!

Yes it is rootet, i also get the request for root, the First time i enabled it.
I also looked in the logfile, but it is empty?

What color has the AFWALL Shield Icon upper left?

strange. green icon whitelist and all apps unseleceted should be blocked an written into logfile.
Tried to reboot?

i never tried blacklisting.... whitelisting works for me.

They talking about the Same Problem, i found during googling around. My Kernel didn't Support netfilter. Are you using another Kernel or a custom Rom?
could it also be possible that the jb Rom not Support it? Because I only read that it worked up to 420002.

Damn!! I had to read your OP correctly..... Im currently on 420002 and just in this moment i flash the retail eu update zip...
Maybe there is no iptables included in the jb kernel? Solution will be to compile it and load it as module ?!

f.e. with console find / -iname "iptables"

So the kernel has no netfilter/iptables included.... hope to get some hints from mattlegroff to compile kernel for razr i...

Lost Root Acces

I lost my Root Acces without any reason.
I go in Titanium Backup and then the App says that I havn't root acces.
Can anyone help me please?

Go to the Opti thrust ROM thread in Development section. I have provided the flashable zip for the Super SU file. Find it in troubleshooting .

Maybe you have accidentally disabled USB debugging in developer options? That might cause issues with root access.

Problem - Root related

Guys, I've just flashed the SlimBean 4.3.1 v2.1 ROM and the Superuser app disappeared. I tried changing the lcd density in settings, but it says that it requests Superuser permission. I downloaded Superuser from the Play Store and when I tried to do the update, it said that I don't have root access. I also tried flashing the Superuser.zip file, but it didn't work. Please help!

Did you enable su in Dev options?

If you mean the launcher wallpaper it should be in the settings somewhere.
I never used SlimBean, I suggest to ask in the Roms thread if you can't find it.
