Don't worry! Just download the stock rom, unzip the file, copy the 2 required files from system > app -folder, and paste in your sd card and install! Hope this helped. Hit " Thanks " if I did!

Not work, please upload file

you must make flashable zip file and install from recovery. if you have Clock work recovery upload your files( 2 file apk and odex) i make patch for this.
how to find files: open your rom MD5 file with WinRAR(open not extract) drag and drop system.rfs file anyway. open rfs file with "ultra iso" or "magic iso" find LiveWallpapersPicker.apk and LiveWallpapersPicker.odex files and drag and drop in your desktop.

Help? i dont want to waste another 3 hours
I assume by "Android setup" that you are running Windows? Have you downloaded the correct version of the JDK? If you are on Windows 7 64bit then you need a 64bit JDK.
follow this buddy for how to use adb
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=879701
and use xultimate 2.2.3 for deodexing
hope this helps you
Nope, i have regular 32-bit one.. will try what u have posted..

The same with me as well i guess we'll have to wait for rex's rom or hope for someone to upload a rom that is deodexed

Which deodexed rom are you looking for? Am planning to post a thread on this with minimal system/app files from xxkb3 which are necessary with minor tweaks. But biggest issue is no recovery for flashing.

how did you do it coz when i enter
cp /sdcard/done_app/* /system/app
or
cp /sdcard/done_frame /system/framework
i get an error no such file or directory
If you placed the folder on external_sd change the path as
cp /sdcard/external_sd/done_app/* /system/app
Same for framework too.

Could you please give me the link to download file modem.bin?
I could not find the folder /sys/vendor in my Jelly Bean. The folder vender is under /system/vendor and there are many subfolder like:
...
/bin
/etc
/firmware
/lib
/pittpatt
/res
I need move the modem.bin to the /system/vendor/bin, Is it correct?
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_Tab_(GSM):_Support_Downloads
Find your modem here..
Yes cpy modem to system /vendor/bin unless you use the latest one it should be paste at system/radio/bin (if im not mistaken the new realesed used old place to put the modem)
It is either /system/vendor/modem.bin for certain cm10 release
Or /radio/modem.bin for the most current one and the very old ones.

[Problem] Unable to change wifi scan interval

Ok, i need to have my wifi on all the time, which in return sucks most of the battery. Culdnt find in stock or any custom rom so I tried to add this line at the end of build.prop "wifi.supplicant_scan_interval=180" (without the inverted commas ofcourse) but all i get is a bootloop. The only time it worked for me was in androidscream rom in which this line was already added in build.prop
My question is that can i, at all, add this line manually in build.prop of stock or custom rom? If yes then how exactly? Or does the compiler of custom rom has to add this at time of compiling if he finds it appropriate.
Also is there any other way to increase wifi scanning interval? Or any script which may help me achieve wt i want? Thanx in advance

U can edit it on d fone using root explorer or make an flashable .zip file. Better idea is to open d rom .zip file with 7z & edit d build.prop file. Another option, make nandroid backup & extract system.rfs wit 7z den edit build.prop.

Using Root Explorer & Nandroid Backup option didn't worked for me but change in build.prop in rom.zip file did the trick. Thanx again domnic79 :good:
UPDATE: Also Successfully modified build.prop on stock rom (Unrooted) by flashing custom build.prop zipfile using cwm recovery
It seems there is no
wifi.supplicant_scan_interval=
option in this rom build.prop, for some reason my wifi is not finding my SSID onlt when turning off the WiFi and then back on.

[TUT]mod apk without pc

hi guys today i'm here to show you the easyest way to theme your apk without using a pc.
I'm doing this because i don't have my pc now and i'm a little bit bored xD
prerequisites:
-rooted device
-root explorer
-zipsigner (free on play store)
ok LET'S GO!!
1) go to the desired apk and rename it from "apkname.apk" to "apkname.apk.zip" using root explorer (apkname is the name of your application e.g. whatsapp.apk->whatsapp.apk.zip)
2) extract zip using root explorer and you will get a folder with the extracted files inside.
3) go to the extracted folder and change the pics you want
4) be sure to rename the pics with the original name (if i want to change an apk's image called app_logo.png i will have to pick an image and copy it to the extracted folder in res/drawable folder, once here i have to paste the image and rename it into app_logo.png)
5) once you finished replacing the images go back until you see a folder called meta-inf,res,lib,assets etc etc... and press menu button, select all the items and zip all the files, rename the zip into apkname.apk
6) navigate to sdcard/speedsoftware/zip and you will see your zipped file, now rename it from apkname.apk.zip to apkname.apk
7)try to install your modded apk, if it doesn't install open zipsigner and as input file select your modded apk,as output file re-select your modded apk (rename it into signedapkname.apk if you want) then tap on the box to the bottom called "sign the file"
8) once signed install your modded apk using any file manager
ENJOY!
press thanks if i helped you
hope in theme section there will be a lot of modded apks with new ui

You mean "resources.arsc" ...
This file contains pre-compiled resources, such as binary XML(values, layouts and dimens... etc) for example,
and to edit this file you must decompile the apk using apktool.jar via PC only (can't be dicompiled/compiled via phone environment)
