[REQUEST] Black-themed Mail (not Gmail) app - Android Themes

I've loved the themes that I've seen for the gmail app, but unfortunately, I have non-gmail accounts and so must use the seldom-themed, standard Mail app. Any chance somebody could do one of those black/cyan themes for me? It would be GREATLY appreciated.

For ICS or GB?

HTC Mail Client

There are someone who can extract the HTC Mail client from an unbranded fimware and post here?
Nice. I really don't like the google official client. More better the HTC one!!!
I use K-9 from the market which uses the default mail app code and has added all the features I actually wanted and use
I use K-9 too and it works great !
how do you delete multiple emails in K-9???
I don't think you can, don't believe any of the mail clients can
i cannot believe that with so many apps in the market no one is bodering to create a proper pop3 email app.
What's not proper about K-9? A HUGE improvement over the default mail app, I had never noticed it didn't have that feature as I tend to read mails before I file them
live.co.uk
can anybody point me the right what to get my live account hocked up to my magic
Thanks Fly

[Q] Eclair 2.1 stock programs install?

Hi all,
I would like to install the following apps, the so called "big three" in my book:
-calendar
-contacts
-email
I would like to use the stock Eclair 2.1 applications on my Nook Color for these tasks. I have access to Eclair stock files (apk and odex) and I am under the impression that I need to install them into /system/apps, but aside from the fact that I can't write to this directory (see my other post), would these apps work at all?
Also, if the stock calendar, contacts and email apps won't work, can anyone suggest equivalents that do work?
Regards,
George
Don't know how to install those but I am using moxier mail and it has all the requisite calendar contacts and mail programs. A little clunky but it works fine.
On Moxier, any idea why the reply window is so small? I can't scroll through the message to edit it before I send it.

Would you happen to know if Moxier supports multiple accounts? I need access to two Exchange accounts (on two different Exchange servers).

[Q] Samsung Mail App

Hello All. Am I the only one that thinks the built-in Samsung e-mail app is garbage? I have tried the ATT stock ROM's, as well as custom (right now I'm on Cognition), and the mail app is always the same. I hate the color scheme (blue on black), and it can't be changed. I prefer the default white background on most phone's inboxes. I also hate that all of my Exchange folders are jumbled together at the top of the screen. It makes it impossible to use. Most Android phones that I've seen (ie. the Incredible) only show the Inbox but let you hit Menu to choose another folder. I would definitely prefer this. I've also tried 3rd party apps such as Touchdown and Improved Mail, but don't like them. Bottom line, does anyone know if the Incredible's email app, or one from another phone can be moved over to the Galaxy and work properly? Or is there a way to customize the built-in app that I'm not aware of. Thanks!
Nope - was going to say use Touchdown
Yea I wasn't a big fan of the Touchdown app. I know that people are using an apk from another ROM (I think the Galaxy tab?), and loving it. But there were some issues with the usage. Anyone else have any ideas?
K-9?
10char
Yea I tried that but could never get it to work. I would always get a 404 error when trying to set up the account.
k9 works for me but setting up exchange is complicated. I was working well until the last release. Then I could not send emails. I reverted back to the previous version via Titanium Backup.
Tab Email is nice but no html for exchange 2003.
Improved Email works too but still had not support for Exchange 2003.
Stock email lacked html support also.
You might guess what my criteria is
while testing a rom from the I9000 forum, Darkyy's Doc 5.4, 5.5 and 6 I noticed the email client had support for html with exchange 2003.
What ever you decide on back it up. Titanium will restore your signature and accounts. Also a backup is good incase you goof and the email.apk is the same name. SQG Tools may restore the store for you. It also contains the tab version.
K9 for all of my personal email accounts and touchdown for the corporate stuff on exchange
Does Darky's rom email.apk have a better interface? (ie. not blue text on a black background, and no tabbed folders jumbled at the top of the screen)

I just got done using that, or really not being able to use it. I could send emails from it, but it wouldn't sync my inbox, but it sync anything older than 3 weeks stuff in sent mail. Switched back to stock because I don't have that many folders I ever use besides in/out and sent.
We need someone super talented to fix the galaxy tab one, it is pretty much exactly what you are looking for

Gmail or Native Email App

Hi Folks,
I've come from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to a new shiny HTC One which was delivered a couple of hours ago. Just getting set up and was wondering whats your preference for email setup. With my company using Google Apps i've always just gone ahead and used Gmail but was wondering if the 'Mail' app was any better?
Regards
Sam
They are both really good, I guess if you have multiple email accounts the mail app is better than the dedicated gmail one because you could easily switch between accounts
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
I use the Mail app because I have 4 email accounts so easier to manage, I would still use this app if I only had one gmail account tbh, its much cleaner looking.
Gmail definitely. Don't like the native app.
Probably no help but I have been using both the HTC native mail app as well as the Gmail app. Personally I like the look and feel of the native app but I think I have been just to used to running my email accounts on separate apps, hasn't hurt me yet.

[REQ] Change Email App Header

Hi all,
my company is asking me to install a specific eMail App to access their Exchange Server. In particular they are asking for TouchDown (great program, but with no Calendar integration).
Default eMail program (GMail in Lollipop) wil not work.
Is there a way to create a module that say to Excahnge that I'm using TouchDown, but using GMail instead?
Thanks in advance
