Hi, I need to return my white note that was bought from expansys as it has screen issues. I remember the csc code was XEU and I could not choose any other without flashing a multi csc rom. Ca someone tell me what the original rom was? I think it had a KKA and KK5 kernal maybe but forgot to write it down. Also Kies was saying there was no update which is why I changed the csc and flashed the LA4 rom by mobile odin. When the phone first switched on it was in english it that helps.
I have (had?) XEU and it did come with KKA, not sure about the kk5.
I flashed LA4 (Germany) and am also not sure how to get back to XEU KKA since I have not seen a rom on here that said XEU KKA.
Anyone? I have a Note from there so would be interested about this too. Anyone have the stock KKA XEU Rom?
Flash some of the stock KKA available. And then *#272*Device IMEI# in the dialer and if XEU is in that list just choose it and it will hardreset the phone with XEU as CSC. But mine came with ATO and not XEU. Some of the KKA roms maybe has XEU as choosable CSC

Baseband : xxkk5 kernel: xxkkA, build number:xxkka. hope this helps.
Hey what screen issues are you having? I have a white note I ordered from Expansys that arrived today and the screen just keeps going black, although everything else works!
Really?????

Hopefully Expansys doesn't browser this forum...
easycure1974 is right.
Just flashed my white 16 GB Note yesterday trough mobile odin and had to do the CSC change to DBT because after flashing a multi-CSC-firmware the productcode goes to KOR.
Flash a regular samsung firmware and there shouldn't be a problem at expansys.
This should reset the flashcounter and the KOR-CSC shouldn' bother them.
But to be sure, do the *272*IMEI#-thing and change the CSC to your liking.

Hello to whoever's reading.
I had flashed to a stock 2.3.3 Gingerbread using ODIN a while ago and decided I no longer wanted it due to zero 3G internet connection (mobile phone calls and sms' were fine, had KOR in firmware details, don't know why), so I downloaded the I9000DTJG4 2.1 FW which is the stock Optus firmware provided with the SGS handsets purchased from Optus outlets.
I flashed the I9000DTJG4.tar and the 512.pit using ODIN no problems. I am now trying to upgrade to 2.2 Optus Official Firmware using Kies 2.0 but it said that my phone was up to date, so I uninstalled 2.0 (will explain why in a second) and installed the Kies that came with the handset in the CD (version 1.5.1.10062_7), and this is the following problem I get:

I was following this thread to trick Kies into thinking that my phone was on 2.1 (which it actually is, don't know why Kies won't let me upgrade) - http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1537182 - which is why I installed Kies 1.5.1, however this also doesn't work.
What can I do to get 2.2 Official Optus Firmware on my i9000 through Kies?
Kies 2.0 advices my current firmware information is as follows:
PDA:JG4 / PHONE:JG3 / CSC:JG1
This version of the device cannot be updated.
My phone says the following:
FW: 2.1-update1
Baseband: I9000DTJG3
Kernel Version: 2.6.29 [email protected] #2
Build Number: ECLAIR.DTJG4
Is there no other option but to download Optus' 2.2 FW from samfirmware? (EDIT - I can't find it lol!)
Thanks in advance.
Few updates, downloaded Kies 1.5.3 and used regedit to change the following values:
"SoftwareRevision"="I9000DTJG4/I9000OPSJG1/I9000DTJG3/I9000DTJG4"
"ProductCode"="GT-I9000HKAOPS"
"HIDSWVER"="I9000DTJG4/I9000OPSJG1/I9000DTJG3/I9000DTJG4"
Still no luck. Anyone?
Bump. Flashing back to stock Optus 2.1 surely fixed my 3G Internet but I'd still like to know how I can update to 2.2 Official Firmware through Kies please.
Thanks.
edit: My phone is the SM-G800F
So I bought an S5 mini from ebay and verified it was all legit, legit packaging, tested via apps that check everything etc. Everything was saying all legitimate. It was defaulted to German region DBT. I thought everything was fine since during install I had set the phone up as UK English until it came to rebooting after encryption when the keyboard was not standard QWERTY, it was specifically German and since my password is more about pressing of certain on screen keys rather than the info being typed I could not get at my data. Well I downloaded the latest H3G firmware so that it should be in UK English on my own network most likely (My sim's network is 3)
This is what Odin shows:

Now, the only difference this time, compared to flashing my S4 mini as I have done lots of times, is when I extracted the zip file for the firmware, 7zip complained about extra data after the payload... I updated to the latest 7zip and so I am not sure what's going on but Odin did not complain about any md5 hash breakage so that should have been fine. Also it came from a different site than I usually get. I got the firmware from two places and it seems the same, no hash breakage. I am downloading one now from sammobile which I think is where I got my S4 mini firmwares from.
Can you think of anything that would make this happen and what I could do to fix it? I tried Kies 3 but it just doesn't work, says something like no compatible devices and then when I try and do the emergency firmware recovery, the device does not show up in the list to even attempt anything.
I would appreciate some guidance on this.
Ok, I flashed the original German firmware and it is siccessful and wants me to set it up again as brand new BUT I need to flash the English firmware.
Is there any way I can flash my UK firmware (H3G) on this German S5 mini? Any extra options I need to select on Odin?
Hello,
Sorry if this has been asked, but i can't seem to find the same question anywhere else.
I have a Samsung Galaxy A715F/DS (vietnam) branded International Unlocked Phone, but i live in the USA... I see many firmware updates for this phone at SamMobile site, Is there a firmware i can use that will allow the phone to be more compatible for the USA use? and is it possible to flash a different country firmware with the same model number on this phone instead of using the Vietnam version? i'm well familiar with flashing firmwares, i'm just not familiar with different county firmware updates. Help please any suggestion or advice would be appreciative. Thank you

And what exactly is "the USA use"? You use it sideways over there?
Have the same version of the phone with XME (Malaysia) firmware installed. Try out the firmware TGY (Hong Kong) and no problem encounter. The only different is that different countries have their own type of software packages. Hope this help.

Samsung apps are based on the country code of your firmware. I'm interested in changing Samsung Pay so MST works because right now I am on UAE firmware and MST did not work when registering with the UAE version of the app. My rewards/offers for SPay are also in their currency, not US, so for now I am using Google Pay because I don't want to wipe my phone and try a bunch of different firmwares. Samsung's country codes make all this very complicated.
If someone has found a firmware compatible with USA Samsung Pay and US Samsung apps, please share.
Good day! Could somebody help me with my A715F/DS? After I updated via OTA, it bootloops and all other firmware from SamMobile is not working though ODIN - PASS but after reboot, the bootloop issue still exist. I attached all the firmware I used to flash via ODIN.

Greetings,
I have an SM-G998B/DS, which was bought closed carrier unlocked, but with a firmware from Vodafone (Comes with 3 Vodafone apps which are easy to uninstall). Also the Active CSC code = ATL.
I am from Spain, so I wanted to flash the firmware with the one which says PHE, thi sone in particular
Download Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra SM-G998B PHE Spain G998BXXS3AUHD firmware
Fast download latest Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra firmware SM-G998B from Spain with G998BXXS3AUHD and Android version 11
www.sammobile.com
File downloaded:
G998BXXS3AUHD_G998BOXM3AUHB_PHE.zip
Thing is that I flashed without issues, but I still see that Vodafone apps gets installed and in the Phone Info APP still says ATL
My understanding is that by flashing with PHE, the firmware would not be tied to any carrier in particular? And it should show as PHE in the phone INFO app?
Also, I always have seen the CSC blank, even before flashing, except for the "Active CSC". Is that normal?
Thanks in advance!
Out of curiosity, Whats your software provider software version?
I.e. TGY/TGY,TGY/BRI
Greetings,
I am attaching a screenshot.
Thanks!

Hi
Changing the active CSC is not as easy as it use to be, before just flashing the correct firmware and booting the phone with the right SIM was enough
There are a couple of options using a dialer code , myself i used that method to change from GTO to PHE , I see you have the latest firmware I do not think they will work anymore , you can try if you want check here
If that does not work your only option without root is samkey ( pay)
Thanks for the reply!
I think I will just leave as it is. I can survive with 3 additional apps which I can uninstall.
Thanks again
I recently got my phone serviced from Samsung and ever since the device is at EUX firmware. I tried flashing INU , DBT and XSA firmware, all these are showing EUX. Only exception is XID (Indonesian Firmware).
I was trying to get to XSA (Australia)

Firmware but it never changes to that.
After this if I install DBT or INU with home csc it will still be at EUX even after factory reset!
Any info would be great!!

the only way is via samkey , buy credit and change csc .
but u must be on EUX not XID if u want to use samkey.
XID have native call record , but late late to get every software update.
Okay, I'm waiting for the credit atm
