i try 3rd party video player still the same. I think something with this rom..coz last time i used stock rom and Android revolution HD, i can play video 640x480..only this rom i'm having prob, someone plz help
Could be a problem with encoding transfer file to pc and see if it plays. Otherwise your going to have to switch roms. I don't see niks rom not allowing high res output however.
I use "spool" to download videos and web pages. Found it works better imo.

hi
i tried all the gingerbread Custom ROMs and Official ROMs,and i understood that none on them have Video playback,i tried RockPlayer,mVideo,VitalPlayer,Real player&etc, but none of them play videos!
Even in Cyanogenmod7 And Modaco's Custom Rom(GRI54)!
can someone help Me fix this thing on my nexus?
or tell me why it is like this?
or if you know any gingerbread rom that supports video formats like .mpg,.flv,.wmv,.MP4,.avi,.etc And Rock Player works on it in Normal Mode playing option.
thanks
I haven't tried any other formats, but mine plays 3gp videos fine. Youtube working fine as well if that means anything.
Do you experience fc's?

Hi
I´m running Android Revolution HD 1.0.2 ROM, and it really fast and cool.
But... i have an issue with the videorecorder. It starts recording about 20 - 40 seconds after i hit the start button...
Anyone else having this bug?
Hi, i don't have that issu and i'm with the same Rom. I read somewhere in the original post of Android Revolution HD 1.0.2 ROM that somebody have the same issu. Just read more careful and you will find it .
Haven´t noticed any bug yet on mine
Hi,
I have s-off and clockworkmod installed on IS (bell). Android version 2.2.1, baseband version 20.23.30.0802U_38.02.01.17_M, software number 1.37.666.3. Now what I would like to know is what are my next steps for installing ext4 1.0.6 mod, and a radio and Revolution HD. I read that the radio I install should match my version, is this correct? Or do I use Radio_20.2804.30.085AU_3805.04.03.22_M? If not where can I find my version. Also should I stay on froyo or upgrade to gingerbread?
Any help is greatly appreciated....
Mikael have you tried to wipe your data? Also the dalvik cache should be cleaned (advanced in cwm).
This should do the trick
hi, you already try new unity v2 kernel?
Sent from my HTC Incredible S using Tapatalk
Running the same as you and camera works fine, tho video doesnt start instantly for me either. but its not 20-40 secs, mine starts up at about 3-5 seconds after button push.
maybe a bit buggy cause of an upgrade from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2 maybe and it conflicts somewhere, is it the stock camera/camcorder or did u install Android_Revolution_HD_Sense_3.0_Camera_5.1.x_v.0.12. Maybe if its stock install that and see how it performs.
Hmm, I'm running 1.0.1 with no problems. Video recording takes exactly as long as it did with the stock Rom, 2-5 seconds.
Have you tried a different SD card? Sounds to me like the SD card speed isn't fast enough. HTC themselves cites the SD card as the problem for 'photo taking delays' and 'choppy video, video record delays.'
Again, I'm on 1.0.1 with a full wipe beforehand and dalvik wipe so its difficult for me to say.

I'd have to say mine is about the same, no issues with video. But I was getting a delay in messages as far as sending/receiving goes. I would probably assume I should reflash my radio after switching between a few roms lately
Most likely It's the radio.

Virtuous Affinity 1.48.0 rom records in a .mp4 container. Hope that helps.
Well that worked. But a new big problem. I installed that ROM with full wipe. Now i cant connect to mobile network. Any fixes?
EDIT: lol i forgot to put my back cover xd. it works now
I installed Virtuos ROM. But i like ARHD much. So i took the HTCcamera.pak from the virtuos rom and put it to ARHD system file. It works but the front camera doesnt. Any fixes?
Dear Friends,
It's more than 1 year that I rooted my Nexus one and Installed a custom rom. After that when I'm going to use my video cam, I see "Forse Close". I tried many many roms and apps, but any app which is going to use video cam lead to "Force-Close". the photo camera wonderfully works normally in any roms/apps!!
Is there anybody can help me? thanx

1st what rom are you using
2nd what have you tired to fix it
3rd ask the person who made your rom or in that thread
If i help ((( HIT THANKS ))) today is my 420 b-day LONG LIVE FREEDOM
Did you try restore the image back to the previous rom and try to reinstall the trouble rom again?
Video worked fine for me in CM7.1 and CM7.2, both of which are Gingerbread. It also worked on Froyo.
Video is known not to work on the early ICS firmwares.
I did but video cam still not working
