Always used the gingerdx, for now I MINICM7-2.1.9 and really liked it, and want to continue with it, but it is a bug, it is going to the side, it has since I can see what I'm going down there in the bar notification (hence the notification bar disappears), dont know if I could explain, but is SCRUFFY, this is normal ROM? or is it some setting? I'm using kernel naA11
Just run termal emulator
And it will show notifications status bar

then I gave fullwipe before and after installing the ROM, I took a photo of another cell (because when I take PRINT, it appears normal) ....
of a look, the vibration button is appearing on the other hand,(the operate is VIVO, V in screen, and IVO other SCREEN), in the launcher as well, I click on messages it opens the internet(icon on the side), this is happening often, kkkkkkkkkk .

I do not understand, I enter the terminal emulator and do what?
nAa's Kernel is kinda famous for screen cuts. The problem you have there is new to me - normally the screen is just displaced to the right but not right and downwards.
Anyway, either look through nAa's kernel thread as there are lots of posts with possible "screen cut" fixes or post your problem in the kernel thread where your chance that nAa may see it is a lot higher.
Ohh, it's just nAa kernel's screencut bug, i thinked it fixed in v10 but seems not... Anyway, try to search for fixes or use Alfs kernel and other ROM...
Edit: try lower or no OC, it helped for me ;D
Edit2: 691 mhz OC causes screencuts in Alfs too,do you use it?
Sent from my E15i using xda premium
For me I never get screen cuts with MiniCM 2.1.9 and nAa kernel 11, I use 600MHz
Niceee, I rebooted the phone, and contact with over the 729, seems to have stopped , except that the accelerometer is not working .....

Interesting, Had to use built in google translate but interesting from what I could understand considering direct translations sometimes fail. Actually about to test a rom that has -Kernel:Acura Team Beta Kernel (Thanx Acura Team) from over on the O3D Forum, will let yall know.
Edit: Installed the Rom can't OC but seems good so far anyway.
Alright , I'm tired of looking , but I can't find a thread , answering my question. Sorry if this is a repost.
Which is the most stable Gingerbread ROM for my SE Xperia X8 E15i ?
I want a very stable and fast version. (Most Important For Me)
I will use only the Stock Kernel.
It should be virtually bugless.
I would prefer a less battery-drain ROM.
Please provide an exact name for the ROM. Download Links will be appreciated.
Thanks

I still prefer GingerDX. It will work nicer if you can use Alfs kernel
for me gingerxperia is best of all on stock kernel.
gingerdx is very very laggy.
I'm using GingerXperiaRay + nAa kernel, but i don't think it works with stock kernel.
With the alfs kernel i was able to OC more than with the nAa kernel..
But tell me please, why won't you switch kernel?

heheheeee...now waiting my phone comeback!!
and I swear I won't to play with bootloader on w8 anymore

1. Flash back stock kernel using "Repair" option in SEUS or by using Flashtool
2. Download S1Tool from this post: S1Tool
3. Turn off your phone.
4. Launch s1tool.exe in the folder you extracted s1tool to.
5. Click on Restore button and then connect your phone to the PC in flash mode (press and hold back button while connecting your phone to the PC).
6. Wait for the process to complete. Congratulations! You now have relocked your bootloader!
7. To check, open s1tool.exe, click IDENTIFY button, turn off your phone, connect it in flash mode to the PC (press and hold back button while connecting your phone to the PC. The LED on your phone should flash green).
8. Continue holding back button until there is some output.
GingerXperia
GingerXperia works very nice with stock.kernel
Battery Drain
GingerDx V021 With Stock Kernel is giving me a lot of battery drain , even after battery calibrations. Wifi/3G are off ,background data and sync both are off... Display light is minimum. No background tasks running.
The battery reduces by 1% every 38seconds
No relief after reboot
Switching back to Froyopro V1.1

One thing I forgot to mention... I use SPB Shell 3D as my launcher...
Hope that doesn't cause the drain.
Well , there's no drain on my froyo ROM because of SPB Shell 3D
I had to Leave Gingerbread
Sad Story For Me

I Want to know like many others wich ROM do you guys think is the best for ours o2x
miui 101 together with vadonkas kernel, is awesome! I really like the miui experience so no cm7, thats why

I like the stock-like roms, so I'm using Thanathos and the phone is flying, literally never been so fast. Only negative is reeboots around once a day.
Thanks to all that voted already, come on keep the thread up xD
I think a CM KANG along with vadonkas KANG kernel is the best combination for our phone.
I think it'd nice if people also shared their opinion about their preferred ROM, like why they believe it's better than the others in terms of stability, battery life and so on.

I would suggest CM7 temasek kang or gueste hybrid v3. Both give the best experience for me in using optimus 2x
Sent from my Optimus 2X using Tapatalk
I'm using CM7 ntly 204 with Vorkkernel, because it is the most stable I have had, it doesnt't drain much Battery and it's fast.
Guestes v2.2 and 3.0 didn't work for me. Also the Ironkernel was unstable on my device.
But everyone should try out a few roms and then choose their favorite.
As Stefan said, for some who knows why in the heck reason some custom roms run on certain O2X's just fine and on others not

You're right, sorry about that. Basically, I told him that I didn't vote because I haven't tried any ROMs yet and was interested in knowing which are the popular ones among XDA members.
That's spanish, BTW (just in case you were wondering )
So far, it seems that your KANG is the thing ^^
Definitely Cyanogenmod 7...fast and pretty stable
I'm running the latest MIUI with owains tweaks and vadonkas kernel. Super smooth and reliable. No SODS or reboots. Battery lasts all day (just!) but it is overclocked to 1.4GHz...
CM7 seems to have the lead, MIUI goes behind, maybe MIUI isn't that great for some users (like myself) because it looks a lot like iOS, but is a great ROM too..

That's what I don't like about MIUI. I don't want my phone to look like IOS.
It's based on CM7 anyway..
I tried temaseks build with vadonkas kernel yesterday, and I really liked it.
I recommend that to everyone who hasn't tried it yet.

Add AndroidON's smooth scrolling and its WIN.
Django, I like stock.
I have tried all of the roms and I prefer gueste hybrid v3 because of the LG apps and widgets.
Good afternoon.
Would you like information about cyanoagem to milestone3/xt860, can someone help me?
I even use the CM9, but also some errors with this, as in the photos, hdmi cable and qr code that does not work either.
thank you

Boa tarde.
Gostaria de informações sobre cyanoagem para milestone3/xt860, alguém pode me ajudar?
Cheguei a utilizar a cm9, porém ainda esta com alguns erros, como nas fotos, cabo hdmi e qr code que também não funciona.
Obrigado
Unfortunately camera and HDMI will only work on stock 2.3 and stock based ROMs.
CM 10.1
According to people in the dev forum for CM 10.1, it should work on the XT860. Unfortunately for me I still am unable to get it to boot.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1804665
This is what I tried: downloaded latest 10.1 + 20121212 Gapps.
Deleted and recreated rom slot 1 with 2GB
Flashed 10.1 + gapps.
Got a black screen and continuous reboots
Tried to flash the xt860 JB fix, nothing changed.
Good luck
Worst yet...

I already followed the instructions on the Cyanogenmod Wiki but the installation on the Rom-Slot1 doesn't boot (if is in fact being installed...)

When they say 'CyanogenMod 11 Milestone 3', milestone = 3rd step towards a stable build, and has nothing to do with the 'Motorola Milestone 3'

Hi XDA,
I have some problems with my anims on my X8.
Example, when i enter/exit a popup ut zooms but doesnt fade, just zooms. Its driving me crazy.
This happed after i installed FroyoPro, and then went to GingerDX.
My info:
ROM: GingerDX
Kernel: SEMC
OC: Yes, 710mhz
I even tried reflashing with SEUS, but it ended as a soft brick. Fixed it with SEUS again tho
Thanks in advance!
full-wipe da phone.. reflash GDX again..
Any screenshots??

It's a bug in the ROM, MiniCM7 and all MiniCM7 based ROMs have it, even MiniCM10 has it, the animations are working properly only in MiniCM9 (and stock 2.1 of course). I don't know why this is, but I would also like to know the solution.

What he means is: when you open a popup window (for example the cpu clock selector window in CM performance settings), that window would open with a fade-in and zoom-in animation, and when you close it, it disappears with a fade-out and zoom-out animation. But here, the fade-in, fade-out part is missing, and only the zoom part is seen, and the window just vanishes after that (on close), without fading.
@MadGala: you said it worked before. My question is, did it work before on the same ROM?
