PlayStation Network GOES Down

It’s been three consecutive days now that PlayStation Network is down. All begin on Wednesday when a large number of PS users were unable to access the PlayStation Network due to some unknown error.

Crazy that I didn't know this. I haven't played cod in a week (weird). Doing some drinking and was about to play some, but not now.

I don't own a PS3, but... I'm glad. I know **** happens, but they had no backup plan, poor security, and won't release ANY info.

Some people believe that its down in europe because of the release of Portal 2.
As it requires to connect to Valve through PSN, so they might be doing that.

Need help getting my money back

Hi guys I can use your help in a form of a little guidance in getting getting my payment stopped on an Android market app, it's called " Bakery Story " it's a free app for kids when the app is opened it tricks kids in buying gems of some sort, my 6 yr old daughter downloaded the game and I saw an email receipt from Google for $100 .Verizon said they can't do anything, bank said call Google, I tried contacting Google but a dead end. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

I assume it was all in-app purchases then? Seems that there is a bit of a black spot of accountability. I imagine if Google gets back to you it will be to say it's nought to do with them either.
You could try contacting the dev's directly maybe? Apparently the game is made by "Team Lava" - http://www.teamlava.com/

Thanks guys I tried both methods but no results no reply from dev and bank said because it was my debit not credit card if was credit card there would be third party involved which could be disputed, Google said they're not responsible for on app purchases.

That's mighty annoying though. Shows a rather gaping hole of responsibility within app purchases.

I'm guessing you wont get the money back. These apps are written just to take your money. See the pattern? Kids game, you give the kid the phone, phone screen to small to watch over all the time, kid doesn't understand the theory of money, you lose money. I should write an app like that. But I would get paid for every post that is made on XDA.

If coming from a phone/device, you may have issues with some browsers. Firefox seems to work well.

XDA Fantasy Football Season Complete Team Pitchford is the Champion

This is a new league replacing TheMuffStuff's league because there was so a huge problem with people not playing.
I am the league manager.
You must be able to log on at least once every other day and play competitively like its a paid fantasy league.
If you join and don't play you will be burned at the stake!
If a completed trade gets vetoed by 3 other teams it will be canceled. (I reserve the right to cancel bull**** trades at any time)
6 Teams make it to the Playoffs and the playoff games are 1 week a piece. (Normally 2)
This league does not recognize the un droppable list.
Waivers are 1 day.
Everything else is standard rules i'm pretty sure.
Please be serious about joining. If you still want too join please send me your pm with your email address so I can invite you.
NOTICE: We are two weeks into the season. This means whatever players you draft points will add up and see if you win the first week or not that already happened. I implore you to please draft like the season hasn't even started. Don't be trying to just draft the players that did well week one just so you can win. I know some people will be losers and try this so please don't. Also if you lose week one with the people you drafted don't get pissed off and stop playing. The season is 14 games long and 6 teams make the playoffs.
P.S Please make your team easily identifiable so people will know who is who when talking on xda.

I am available any time after 7 most next week or (weekdays) and later in the evening on the weekend nights.. on sunday only early afternoon really works for me. (2-5ish)

Ive had a very long day lol. working with you guys to set up the league and to find people to join while at the same time writing a 1,000 word descriptive essay for my college english class. It is now 5:18 in the morning. i think im gonna go pass out now!

I should be available in evenings , but sometimes have to work late without much advanced notice ... I already selected my pre-draft though just in case ...
