If you stripped out any bloatware with Titanium Backup, that will also cause the update to fail.

Do u have the guided tour apk?

I don't have it, but if you go grab a stock version of the ROM (Deodexed or not) then the APK should definitely be hiding in there.
I'm running Eclipse 2.1 so I'm already debloated and don't have it.

Titanium Backup wont restore the app. The apk in. 893 wont install either

.894 update keeps trying to install

I accidently accepted the. 894 update after going to. 893. I am forever rooted and the update sits there saying "download suspended." I know it is failing because of the root and I don't want it anyway. How do I stop it from trying over and over again?

Use root explorer, go into /cache, delete both files. Reboot.

/cache is empty. I looked using astro and es. Does root explorer show hidden files or something?

Hmm, good question. I would recommend looking using root explorer. That's how I did it and I had your same issue.
Anyways, root explorer is a must have app in my opinion. Most used app here...

Clockwork mod reboot

Hi all. I got a Revolution and every time I reboot it. It goes straight to clockworkmod and my stock rom wasnt backed up. I just want the phone to work again. Rooted are not. Everytime I try to flash a rom it says. "Installation aborted"
(Bad)
Any help. Super nervous that my phone is screwed until someone has an idea on what's wrong?

I'd first try to download a different rom, maybe an older version of one.. or even try to redownload the version you have.. possibly just a bad file, I have seen that happen

I've tried 3. No luck. It keeps saying (bad)

Are you downloading these ROMs on your PC or your phone? Also, what ROM are you downloading?
Did you do wipe data/ factory reset in the "settings menu" on the phone? If you did then that's your cause. Look around in the dev section here and find the "stuck in clockwork" thread.

Download the Revo One Click root package again and see if you can run it from your computer while in recovery. Not sure it will work but if all else fails you can run LGNPST on your computer from recovery.

Uninstall all drivers from the PC and go to LGs website and download the drivers from there. That seemed to fix my issues.

Yeah did that. Even tried the updater from LG. It worked on my shine plus but not the revolution

No matter what I do. And I turn it on. It just says LG for 5 seconds then right into clockwork

Did you do super one click or mt's root tool? Could you go and try the one you didn't try.
I'd (if) memory serves me right, cubed did a thread about being stuck in cwm. It should be in the development section. Just know I am not a pro, and if your phone is jacked up there is always a way out, that is the beauty of our phone it's fool proof.

May be stuck with eclipse.

Need some assistance. When I got my bionic, I immediately wiped and installed eclipse 2.2 using ROM manager. I just tried to do a factory reset, and reboot. It is still on eclipse. I did not use Safestrap or bootstrap. Is there a way to get back on track for ICS from VZW?

I might have deleted something from system/app, if I do a factory reset and retry will it work?
Sent from my MB886 using xda app-developers app
Nope...im in the same boat...
They told me you have to reinstall the missing system apps...
At the moment im searching for the stock at&t boot logo....any ideas?
You are rooted obviously
1. Backup apps with Titanium Backup
2. Flash Stock ICS with RSD
3. Root again and restore apps
4. Update to JB
I will do the same
