Galaxy Note I717 supports AWS? - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok so we got a different version in canada aparently. The I717, not the 7000.
seeing the specs listed here:
http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note_i717-4374.php
and
https://negrielectronics.com/samsung-sgh-i717-galaxy-note-hd-unlocked-black.html
these phones should support the AWS frequencies of T-Mobile, Mobilicity, and Wind correct?

What I have read on the Galaxy Skyrocket forums is that people were able to get the Skyrocket working on Tmobiles 3g/4g network by just flashing a Tmobile radio. The ATT Galaxy Note uses the same Radio and snapdragon processor so I would assume it would be the same process.

[Q] Galaxy S2 AT&T specs

Does anybody know for sure the HSxPA bands of the newly announced galaxy S2 for AT&T? I am getting conflicting information in this respect. I want to know specifically if it has the 2100 HSxPA band.

[Q] International galaxy on T-mobile 4g?

I have a newbie question. I know the note has 2 versions.
Can the AT&T version work with tmobiles 4g network? I heard that they may be slightly different.
If the AT&T doesnt get 4g what does it get? Tmobiles 3G or edge?
Can someone confirm the international versions work on the 4g?
Also the specs on these two devices are slightly different...but I can't find the difference!
If these questions have been answered sorry in advance!
They've been answered to death, but what the hey.
Some thing the AT&T version could possible work on t-mobile with a modem flash, but I wouldn't buy one hoping to do that until it's out and someone tests it.
International version can only get edge on t-mobile. Odds are if the modem flash doesn't work thats what you will get with the AT&T version as well.
The big difference is the processors. The international version has the faster exynos, while the AT&T has a snapdragon but also LTE
Ive read recently that some connectivity with 3/4g can be made. Since I don't have a note I'll post and someone can confirm.
Thanks for the answer though

[Q] Unlocked galaxy notes

what other carriers can you use a unlocked galaxy note on? Sprint/boost?
Only GSM networks like at&t/ straight talk etc..
NO CDMA carriers like sprint or boost.

Does this work with TMOBILE 4G?

i heard you can hack the AT&T version to get TMOBILE 4G but is the unlocked version of the Galaxy Note already able to use tmobiles 4G basebands?
go look in the Note's general forum. there are several threads near the top discussing this
No, it does not work with T-Mobile 3.5G.
i think the only way to do this is flash the skyrocket baseband to the att note. they run the same chipset

Does US Unlocked Phones (Galaxy S8 and Note 8) Support 4G TDD LTE Bands?

I am interested in buying US version (Snapdragon) of factory unlocked Note 8. However, it's full specs on network/radio bands are not listed yet even on Samsung official site.
I looked in full specs for Galaxy S8 unlocked (SM-G950UZKAXAA) vs carrier version such as Galaxy S8 for T-mobile (SM-G950UZKATMB), and noticed that carrier versions all listed support for 4G TDD LTE: B38(2600),B39(1900),B40(2300),B41(2500), while unlocked version does not. As the screenshots show.
So will Note 8 unlocked (Snapdradon) also be missing the 4G TDD LTE bands (B38, B39, B40, B41)?
Or maybe the specs listed on Samsung official site are not accurate and unlocked also supports those bands? Wishful thinking.
4G TDD LTE is used in some countries like China. So anyone with unlocked S8 on tmobile traveled to China can confirm if 4G data worked in China with t-mobile SIM?
If the unlocked phone only has the benefit to switch carriers in US but has limited band support internationally, then I will have to think twice.
Yeah I was trying to figure this out as well. So far, from other sites, I have seen mix messages. One site FrequencyCheck.com states that it does have those bands and other show them is missing...not sure which one is correct. Also, for other sites I have seen that the T-Mobile version also has 3G TD-SCDMA: B34(2010), B39(1880) and the unlocked version has 3G CDMA: 800/1900. I really can not make heads or tails of this information....is it correct, who is wrong??? I called Samsung that they don't have the information yet, so I don't know either way. I'm leaning to go with the Unlocked by Samsung version, but I am in the same boat with regards to this matter.
Looks like it, i have a Unlocked verdion of the phone.
