[Q] External Speaker Sound Weaker on CNA 1.3.3? - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've been playing around after installing CNA 1.3.3 and noticed that the sound coming out of the external speaker is weaker. Is this a known issue? Could it be because of installing Voodoo Control Plus?
Is there any way to undo the changes I made on Voodoo Plus?

[Q] Low Base - Graphic Equalizer needed?

I'm using JM7, with Tayutama 1.2 and Voodoo 4 beta.
Can anyone tell me why I seem to have lost all base when playing music?
Is there a Graphic Equalizer I can use to turn it back up?
Thanks.
You haven't 'lost all bass' you are hearing the natural music without any distortion.
Voodoo lag-fix removes the infamous EQ filter Samsung enables when you plug in a Head-set.
Use the Samsung EQ if you want to mutilate your music again.
EDIT: The eq is in the music player, press Menu and options, then look for EQ settings.
Erm, I'm not pluging in a headset. Yes I am losing base, but I think it was more on the car stereo side as I've made some adjustments and I have base again.
Thanks.

[Q] Volume too loud

Quick question...
As the title suggests, my device's lowest volume setting is still too loud if I want to listen to something in the background or want to take a snooze. Is there a way to either add more volume levels or lower the value of the levels? I'm running JPK and it's rooted.
Cheers.
download and install this

it should work with the BETA froyo
Thanks, but I already have Sound Manager installed, which does the same thing as Audio Manager, but has a cleaner interface and more control options. The problem is that neither of them do what I want... the lowest volume is still too loud.
I need to somehow adjust the increment value in code or add more increments to give me finer control.
Did you ever receive an answer on your volume issue. I have a galaxy 4G with the same issue and no one has answers?
Use voodoo control app from market, it adjust the analog amplifier.

Yes voodoo would be the best for you its just amazing....install it and you will love it....it makes your phone to the best mp3-player you can buy for money
Yep, use a kernel with voodoo sound. Or buy Supercurio's app in the market and support his work. The app gives you the option to adjust the analog gain, if the volume is too loud all you have to do is lower the gain and problem solved

You can try DSP Manager or Equalizer available on the Play store If you are running ICS then also change the Music Effect in the Settings/Sound menu accordingly.

[Q] poweramp MusicFX problem on eXistenZ v4.3.5 + BlasterZ SoNiCo V6 sound Mod

Hi,
I'm new here. and my posts aren't not enough yet to reach on dev sections. I hope it's ok to ask this question here.
I have installed eXistenZ v4.3.5 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2349656) and BlasterZ SoNiCo V6 sound Mod (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2529566) on my c602.
I use the sony walkman fx as the music fx for poweramp music player.
The problem is, everytime I pause or close poweramp, the music fx ( sony walkman's equalizer) keep reset to off. And dynamic normalizer setting also turn off. It only happen on poweramp; While on walkman (ultra) setting, it's still work perfectly ( no unexpected changes on the setting and equalizer preset).
So, what do you think, guys? Where the problems came from?
*It didn't happen on my previous stock rom and without the sound mod*
Thank you
