Just a quick theme I put together in the online kitchen, for anyone interested.
Colour icons
Bounce in animation
Ubuntu font
I am on the Rogers Raider stock Rom
Flash with CWM
What is you theme for Sense? Can you give me a link?
Which online kitchen did you use? And I'm guessing that it works fine with sense 3.6 since you said you were using your stock Rom?

4 sure...But I'm using a Rogers Raider 4G now and I can't get it S-OFF...So I'm still using 2.3.4 now...
I have a few questions before I unlock bootloader and install a recovery. The first question is: will unlocking the bootloader erase anything off the phone? Also, will rooting through WCX Recovery.erase anything off the phone? I know that flashing a ROM will erase everything, but I'm just curious. I really don't want to lose anything until I've made a backup with recovery.

Yes for security purposes unlocking the boot loader formats user data. Rooting does not, but in order to flash the recovery you would need an unlocked boot loader.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll see if I can find a way to backup my apps. Any suggestions?

Since you're unrooted, you're probably going to have to rely on Google's cloud backup, which is inconsistent at best.
I don't remember whether MyBackup (Pro?) supports backing up without root or not, but that could be another option.
Think I'll just end up making a list of the apps. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Try appmonster pro.

Appmonster did the trick. I'll probably unlock the bootloader and root on Friday. Thanks guys!

I have one last question. Once I've unlocked the bootloader, and rooted, I don't need to flash a ROM? Probably a dumb question but I want to be safe.

Thats up to you some people like stock others like pre customized ones.
Can you recommend some? I want to try RumFloat or the De-Sensed ROM.

Where we are now in ROM development, I can safely say that if you want Sense, Telstra stock is more than good enough (as it includes WiFi tethering out of the box, no modification, and can have DSPManager put on it). I've heard good things about WCX Generic, but I've never been a huge fan of WC's ROMs. If you don't like Sense, try DeSensed.
I'm running 4.0.3ics stock with kozmikkernel .I'm just waiting for s-off.

I like sense enough to stick with it for a while, but I'm on AT&T. Will the Telstra stock still work?

i use rum float beta 3 has been solid stable and fast no complaints from me
I was thinking about trying rum float beta
5 when I do it. I'm still paranoid about doing this.

Does anyone have a copy of the engineering hboot that was posted here a month or so ago? The thread appears to have been removed.

I went looking through the forum for an ENG HBOOT but I didn't find anything at all. I wish someone would come forward with one though. Was it for the GB build or the ICS build?

Gb but it shouldn't matter. Should be able to flash it now and then just update it to the lastest firmware excluding the new hboot. I don't know why they deleted their post.

What about the ENG HBOOT of a Raider or Velocity? Could you use that? I'm looking for anything that might help.
Sent from my HTC Vivid
I think any eng hboot will work so long as its in the proper nbo format. Having it signed shouldn't matter now that we have s-off

Would it help to try to track down the owner of the prototype?
Found this post and was wondering if it would help or if it's too old:

EDIT: Or would this help? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1515969
Nope, we need an ICS ENG HBOOT as far as I know, if we want to continue using ICS. I'd rather have ICS than ENG HBOOT if I had to choose.
I'm pretty sure we don't. If you have the eng bootloader you can remove the bootloader from the ics firmware update and flash it in the bootloader and this should update the old eng hboot with the ics firmware minus the updated hboot.

So we can user that bootloader

Flash Dark Raider, it works on it. Only counter part is you loose ability to wifi tether. Otherwise, flash DSP Manager like I did

Actually the ZIP with beats audio is only for Sense 3.5 roms.
So is there any way to make it work without rooting?
