Completely unresponsive: jig or warranty?

It's pretty classic. Was using Odin3 1.7 to go back to stock, it completed successfully and I was greeted with a black screen. No lights on the buttons, nothing on the screen, no vibration, nothing. I've tried every solution I can find, no combination of buttons or USB connection will evoke a response.
Is it worth throwing together a jig or is it time to call AT&T? I'm within a year of purchase, might be able to BS a replacement out of them. Thanks for any help/thoughts.
Yeah a jig wouldn't hurt.. but if you can't do anything with it you could send it to mobiletechvideos for jtag or get a jtag kit... or BS att

Where to buy genuine replacement earphones that came bundled with the Note 2?

So my earphones that came with my Note 2 broke. I actually quite liked it, it was perfectly alright for something that came bundled, even though I have top of the range custom IEMs.
So I went onto ebay and bought a "genuine samsung" replacement inline earphones, which turns out to be a shoddy counterfeit.
Should I try another seller on ebay? Or try somewhere else?
+1

They also have the gnex oem earphones which feel a bit more premium and they're cheap lol

Sprints version comes with same headphones. Just a shame they all come in white regardless of what color Note you buy.

I got mine from ebay last week which it said it was genuine oem. Was totally fake sounded worst than the one you get from 99cent store. EBay should close the down! And deal extreme is from China and fake as well

Trade-In for AHD

AT&T valued it for $48. That's good enough because I've been wanting an iPhone 4s for some time now and it's only $100 for a new one and $50 for refurbished (2yr agreement and all that.) , and I was willing to go to the ATT store and do a swap. BUT, I don't think I can because my dad just told me it's under contract. Is it still possible to switch the phones and pay the difference in the balance or would I have to terminate and get the 4s under a new 2yr contract?

Add a line then swapping Numbers

Got a advertisement from sprint offering 200 bucks off any phone and 100 credit for porting a number over. My question is can I port the wife over then swap my number to the phone she gets with the new line? And and put her number on the phone I have now?

Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda premium
we swap phones around all the time, can see why you couldn't
Do you wait a specific amount of time before you trade devices?
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda premium
Nope it's just an esn/imei swap. You may need a 3rd phone to temp swap, can only be done one at a time.

You have to wait twenty four hours before theyll do it. Online, phone and in store. Otherwise theyll charge full price for phone

That might be policy, but we've gotten away with insta-swaps before. It's how my father juggles phone upgrades like nobody's business. Then again, we're a long time Sprint customer, so we may have gotten some extra leniency on this front (and/or a nice rep!).
You can do this. I did it in store. I added a line on my account and transferred a number to that new line with the HTC One. As soon as we did that I asked to swap phones and it was done in about 30 minutes for all of the process.
Typed on my Sprint HTC ONE
I may have some wiggle room on the policy then been with sprint since 02

I didn't have to. Upgraded my line and got an Evo LTE for girlfriend, activated right there at Best Buy on her line while I bought it.

I work at a Sprint corporate store. Yes you can do this. You don't need a third phone. The rep should know what they are doing. You can also do it right there in the store. You don't have to wait any amount of time.
If the phone you are buying comes with a mail-in rebate then you will lose the mail-in rebate because of the esn swap. Just a heads up.

I work for radioshack... I do cross upgrades all the time.. I upgrade the eligible line, sell it, then call up to have them switched. No 24 hours needed
Sent from my S-Off Sprint HTC ONE using xda premium
I do it all the time with our three lines it can be done over the phone and there is no charge just remember that the upgrade will be lost on the line you swap for 2 years.
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
The process is called gifted upgrade.

Sprint employee here. You can do the upgrade and swap the phones instantly. We do it every single day. We care more about our sales numbers than if sprint frowns on this process.

is that for Loss and damaged broken screens? I wonder if they'd actually give you a new one or refurbished.
No matter what the reason I need a repair is I just tell them the phone was stolen.

Ya I think if I had a problem and was gunna have to pay I would do the same. It ain't like the old days when u could just walk in complain about ur phone and walk out with a new one being shipped to u. I had many phones replaced in the past without paying anything. I went in today to let them know about my phone getting hot sometimes after a long charge and they said since it didn't happen in front of them they can't replace it. There used to be $50 or $100 deductible depending on what the cause for replacement was I guess now its just a straight 150?
I think that's the reason I drop the insurance back in the past I added it with this phone but I don't know if I'll keep it if that's the way it's going to be

Well sprint can't repair the one so lost, stolen, damaged is 150 deductible. If software related(and they can't prove you did it) and still under warranty no charge
