HI guys......
i downloaded gingerxperia v25 & 24b
but i read in android development that it cannot be installed through xrecovery...
Please tell me how to install the above versions....
Thanks in advance
Get CWM recovery or install some rom who has CWM too and then install GingerXperia.
You can install first GingerDX v13 with xrecovery who has CWM too.

Maybe, you should root your phone again. From the beginning
Use SEUS software to go back to original firmware and root again,
install xrecovery and flash GingerDX
I guess this is the best way to have GinderDX
i agree with malungkot . Reflash with SEUS then root, install xrecovery and install latest DX.

First restore your phone via seus. Then root and install of xrecovery.
If you want to install GingerDx read the Thread. For the differences of v12 and v13 read the thread.
By the way. V13 is working quite fine
On my Sony Ericsson W8 I can't install kyuaDroid, GingerXperia, MiniCM and etc. I can only install GingerDX and FroyoBread. When I try to install the roms which I mentioned above all (except GingerDX and FroyoBread) are giving error like this " This rom is not compactable with your baseband. Update first to M7XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015".
But I have the SAME baseband.
How to solve it ?
My W8 is rooted and has Unlocked bootloader. What should. I do ? I should change kernel ? Or something?
As I'm a noob I don't know How to solve this.. So please help me as soon as possible.
Wow, no one replied? I'm having the same problem mate...

some roms need to be installed with cwm not xrecv, and custom kernels too, perform a fullwipe before and after flashing any rom
I found the same problem. I use CWM and it works for me fine in installing different ROM's

First of all im saying that im new and noob in custom rom section. my 1st installed custom rom was KuyaDroid. in that rom i was able to overclock my x8 in cmmod/performance section. but i cant do it in GingerDX.
My GingerDX installed process:-
1.first i installed "update-GingerDX.v019" in xrecovery via install custom zip,
2.then i also install "addons.modules.for.stock.kernel" by same process and full wipe and reboot.
i found that Duell touch works, but i cant overclock it like in kuyadroid. Now plz tell me what should i do?

Gingerdx does not have the overclock module but you can also overclock your x8 using dx's overclock module.
Then what's the use of "addons.modules.for.stock.kernel" that i installed by xrecovery.isn't it have dx's overclock module? i found x8oc.ko module in system/lib/Modules.then it means its not working. what should i do?
First if all you should install gdx with cwm, second ir you wanna this options you should install custom kernel, otherwise download from market some app for overclock your cpu

put x8oc.ko in system/lib/modules/
by default its 691MHz, to change speed, use SetCPU or CPU monitoring app.

Alfs kernel or nAa kernel are pretty good. GingerDx is my favourite ROM.
Well your bootloader is unlocked so either of the kernels have CWM recovery installed (xRecovery is pretty much obsolete). "craking bootloader" is legal to do this. An advantage of having Android. Most phones come these days with there bootloaders unlocked.
This is nAa description of how to install his kernel found on his thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1350484

it mean :
- Download the kernel .ftf file and move it to Flashtool\firmwares so that Flashtool can pick it up
- Flash the kernel via Flashtool (turn off phone, press back button, connect your usb phone cable to computer, see led in your phone blink green, then release back button. flashing should be running.. wait until finished..
- unplug your usb phone cable
- turn on your phone.
