Hello every body
I had jailbreaked my HD7 using chevronWP and it was working very well. but after updating to the mango (and then some other updates), chevron does not work any more.
Current version of OS on my phone is 7.10.7740.16
How can I Jailbreak it once again?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks in advance

you will need to downgrade OS and go through the unlock process, again.
i suggest just unlocking your Bootloader with XSPL and flashing a Custom ROM.
Waht's sh4d0w86 asking is the easyest way....
The other way was extreemly hard to complete cause you must but before every flashing the provxml in the windows folder after flashing you must start connection setup now the device was jailbreaked an the same again and you need the registry file for preventing the Unlock of the Jailbreak and at the end you don't have Interop-unlock
flashing a ROM with interop-unlock was the easyest way......
Are there any custom ROMs for mango version?
and are they updatable? and if yes, will they be locked if you update?

there are a lot of custom roms on mango that you find in forum, if you search for it.
unfortunately is not possible to update these custom rom's. you have to flash your device, if you want a new one. but with the backup-tools is that no problem.
the most custom rom's are full unlocked, even after hardreset.
you can't jailbreak an HD7 because its not an iPhone!!
You could developer unlock it and or interop unlock it though lol

thank you all, for replies.
For developer unlock i have to pay 99$ a day, and chevron tokens are sold out!
but, what does "interop" unlock mean actually?

jayjoyson is ill informed. all Custom ROMs are using version of Mango. also, there are Custom ROMs that are Zune update-able, e.g. intrinsicROM.

allows deployment of more than three sideloaded apps. to my knowledge, all Custom ROMs are Introp-Unlocked.

I saw that on this page: http://www.wpcentral.com/htc-releases-hidden-wifi-app-windows-phone1, HTC has released an app to find hidden wifi.
It's only for HTC for now I think.....

The new app doesn't work unless you are on the March 2011 NoDo update. So unless until the cooks release the NoDo update for the HD2.
Trust me...already tried it!!!

Hello there!
How do you download and install this app? Thought you'd need to unlock with Chevron to do it?

Chevron is not required with the nodo updates. Use with the latest rom updates. If you download it, you have to use Tom's XAP installer to install it.
Looks like you have never done this before?

That'll be right! I haven't unlocked my phone for developer access so I thought it was impossible to side load apps without this?
Where can I find the XAP installer?

You can read all at this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=912218
Before you use any program, you are better to look thru all the posts. You will find Toms installer in one of the forms. Read and learn.

Thank you for the link, very much appreciated.
It mentions about unlocking with Chevron which from reading a few news sites MS have been bricking peoples phones when they have performed updates with Zune. It still a big issue?
I am not necessary looking to completely unlock the phone but definitely don't want to risk balls'ing the phone for homebrew apps. I have unbranded which I'm very satisfied with but I just want to be able to connect to my home wifi without broadcasting it. But seems I have to run the risk of playing with Chevron, unlocking, and registering as a dev with MS to simply load one app. I'll keep reading and consider my options.
Thanks again
Am I the only one that can't find the app in the marketplace?
Just flashed a NoDo rom onto the phone today and was looking forward to being able to use this.

Rather than go into the Marketplace, go straight to HTC Hub and it'll be on the front page. The 'Download' or 'Share' options don't appear though.
Ain't in there either, bit of a pain that..
Hey guys,
my HD7 seems to have some hardware problems (random rebooting etc). So I decided to send it in for repair. Since I'm currently running the leaked HTC Mango ROM (7720.68) I need to roll back to a stock NoDo ROM. Now there are so many ROMs floating around these forums nowadays, that I have no idea which would be the on to choose for my device:
HTC HD7, Germany, unbranded, not SIM locked.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
you can go here and select the suitable ROM for your device,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/HTC_HD7/Shipped_Roms
but be careful because you may brik your phone if you flash a wrong ROM
I think you should flash the last ROM which is the only one in the Mango Section

Thank you very much. I think I'll go with the first European ROM and apply all available updates afterwards. That should be sufficient enough to look like stock.

It is OK, as you like,
But keep in your mind that the Mango ROM is official leaked one and is stock,
My suggestion is to go with it if you don't care about chevron unlocking your device.

I have a developer account, so I don't need Chevron to unlock my device. The thing is, I need to send my device in for repair, so anything Mango like wouldn't be considered to be stock as the update actually hasn't been delivered yet.

OK, Thanks
today my HD7 (T-Mobile) will arrive and I want to know what to do first.
Its a used one so it probably has WP7.5. If it has that should I just do the HSPL / RSPL thing then flash a custom rom?
and if its still one the old WP7, should I upgrade it via zune to WP7.5 or just do the HSPL / RSPL thing and flash a custom rom thats already based on WP7.5?
and finally, are all HD7 roms compatible with the T-Mobile version? if not please tell me the ones that will work for me.
thanks in advance.
just created a tutorial, here.

the tutorial is tested by numerous individuals that it works.
you could look at who Thank'ed Post #1 and ask them personally, if worried.
i personally haven't tested the downgrade of OSPL 5.xx method...
but it had gotten multiple successes.

So what do guys think about the new installer and do you think it would support our device
The installer seems to be a great opportunity to anyone who does not know anything about flashing ROMs. It makes it accessible to everyone, but doesn't that mean that there will be more people who don't know what they're doing?

Your still going to have to unlock the bootloader to use the cyanogenmod installer.

That probably doesn't cover all device specific installation methods. You need to unlock the bootloader.
