I typed * # * # 2663 # * # * and clicked update. He showed me the message "Update failed" and does not touch. Help
oh said, you typed touch screen factory version. touch screen firmware was changed. And solution to fix it. But, you can bring your device to service center and talk about fake story. if you lucky, service center will accept wanarity your phone
It's a homemade way to fix this?
Sorry for my English
I try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1487685

What's going wrong with the goldcard like?
Have you tried using another SD?
Yes you need it.
I've a NoBrand Legend and tryed, with no success, to root it until I've created in the right way the GoldCard.

now i have a new problem, after finishing this step :
# Navigate to the 'BOOTLOADER' and then 'RECOVERY' option on the menu, using the volume buttons to move and the power button to select.
# In the terminal window, enter either 'step2-windows.bat', './step2-mac.sh' or './step2-linux.sh' as appropriate.
i get a red triangle on the device screen and on the command prompt i get :
Erasing cache and rebooting in RUU mode...
< waiting for device >
and nothing happens !!
If any codes don't work, report me so that I can remove them or correct them.
I Found these codes while I was surfing around today. Hope you would find it useful
Code:
*#*#4636#*#*
This code can be used to get some interesting information about your phone and battery. It shows following 4 menus on screen:
Phone information
Battery information
Battery history
Usage statistics
Code:
*#*#7780#*#*
This code can be used for a factory data reset. It'll remove following things:
Google account settings stored in your phone
System and application data and settings
Downloaded applications
It'll NOT remove:
Current system software and bundled applications
SD card files e.g. photos, music files, etc.
PS: Once you give this code, you get a prompt screen asking you to click on "Reset phone" button. So you get a chance to cancel your operation.
Code:
*2767*3855#
Think before you give this code. This code is used for factory format. It'll remove all files and settings including the internal memory storage. It'll also reinstall the phone firmware.
PS: Once you give this code, there is no way to cancel the operation unless you remove the battery from the phone. So think twice before giving this code.
Code:
*#*#34971539#*#*
This code is used to get information about phone camera. It shows following 4 menus:
Update camera firmware in image (Don't try this option)
Update camera firmware in SD card
Get camera firmware version
Get firmware update count
WARNING: Never use the first option otherwise your phone camera will stop working and you'll need to take your phone to service center to reinstall camera firmware.
Code:
*#*#7594#*#*
This one is my favorite one. This code can be used to change the "End Call / Power" button action in your phone. Be default, if you long press the button, it shows a screen asking you to select any option from Silent mode, Airplane mode and Power off.
You can change this action using this code. You can enable direct power off on this button so you don't need to waste your time in selecting the option.
Code:
*#*#273283*255*663282*#*#*
This code opens a File copy screen where you can backup your media files e.g. Images, Sound, Video and Voice memo.

I had to reprogram an HTC View, using the calculator since there's no dialer. ! was used in lieu of the #. Damned if I know what replaces the *. Try maybe the "."(decimal/period).
Thank you very much. Interesting.

do a factory reset if it didnt help flash stock firmware in sp tools
Try a reboot of your device and also restart your wifi router as it can also be the problem if problem still persists try a factory reset and also clean caches from recovery, by then all should be fine.
Sister says she was driving and phone suddenly factory reset (android recovery icon with text saying erasing, or something along those lines). After the process completes you are greeted with the setup screen to select your language and continue setup. Took a while to get past this since this process somehow also turned on voice assistant. If anyone else experiences this, you need to use two fingers to scroll and tap the item you want, then double tap it to select. (Ex: when you get to a keyboard, to type the letter "a" you need to tap a to highlight it, then double tap "a" to actually send the letter to the textbox. Powered off and jumped into recovery menu which showed a system update progress bar then displayed the following:
LMY47X.G920TUVU3DOJ7
....
(Recovery Menu Options)

Applied the CSC-code : TMB
Successfully applied multi-CSC.
I found a post elsewhere about CSC which indicated it had to do with regional codes which will identify the firmware to issue to the device. The post also said after updating the code your device will reset. So, any thoughts on why this would randomly happen? Phone lock screen was secure so accidental taps/presses seems unlikely. I wasn't present at the time of the incident so I cant be certain of each step that took place before it randomly factory reset.
NOTE: Device is fully stock, never rooted or attempted to root. The phone is up an running so this is not a post requesting help for that, just to share experience with others that may run into this issue and possibly find out what caused it.
hi i asking for some guidance here. Anyone with odin flash file with lollipop please give a link. i have a g870a which originally had Android version: 5.1.1 Baseband version: G870AUCU2COJ3 on it but then someone flashed G870AUCU1ANE4 4.4.2 on the phone and now you can hear the phone starting up but the screen just shows lots of dots in various colors. there is no image just dots to full the screen. so i cant do much with the phone cause i cant see whats going on from the screen. please some assistance will be greatly appreciated.
i tried sideload but i keep getting this error:
C:\>adb devices
List of devices attached
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
59fa9633 sideload
C:\>adb sideload c:\update.zip
loading: 'c:\update.zip'
* failed to write data 'protocol fault (couldn't read status): Invalid argument'
*
i also want to mention that you can hear the phone starting up and i am able to get into recovery and sideload by guessing the options.
