This ROM is from the android source there is no HTC apps or extra apps from the start it do come with spareparts and dev tools from android source. At the moment it seems a bit slow I think that is due to animations, animations can be turned of in spareparts or in the settings menu.

To get app2sd to work you need an ext partition when you have that you might have todo a full wipe and reflash the ROM to get app2sd to work
When you boot up first time choose "com.android.provision"

JIT off - JIT is on by default but if you for some reason want to turn it off here is a pack.
JIT on - If you want to turn JIT back on use this pack.

HOWTO INSTALL
1. Go into recovery and make a wipe/factory reset.
2. "install zip from sdcard" -> "Choose zip from sdcard" -> chose version of openfire
3. Reboot system now
If you doesn't have a ext partion and want one keep on reading
1. Install "ROM manager" you can find it on market.
2. go to rom manager
3. scroll down to utilities
4. partition sd card. ext size=512,swap=0 (you can chose any size you want to)
5. reboot.
6. wipe and reinstall the ROM

nice to see ppl working on the wildfire!!! i hope your project will end in a full working rom, keep working on it!

to fix network settings do like this:
open framework-res.apk but dont extract, just open file and go to /res/xml/ and replace your apns.xml with for example with apns.xml from my rom.
just drag the /res/xml/apns.xml from "mine" framework-res.apk into your framework-res.apk that your are using.

Beatifull for the moment i'm playng with this and i loving i want u to make sound and is has a problem almoust every app give me forced close (don't put market do something difering put apktor/aptoide with some repo if u can) good luck i'm waiting for nxt version i'm lovening

been trying all day with the sound no progress so far, but I will se what I can do.
The wifi part, I'll see if jacob can help me out there sometime in the future
will also check what I can do with the FC's havent looked into that at all actually priority nr1 rigth now is sound

The vibration not working and without i can't see who is calling or send sms on time ...

the vibration works just fine.. you have to turn it on from the settings first
it working last morning atleast because the some1 called me and woke me up
well, I know its a buggy rom so I take no garantue that it acctually work I wont promisse that you wont miss a inportand call or messege

On me not working i was tryng again about 10 min ago but no vibration when someone call or send sms to my in settings it is ok i got and only vibration but nothing i will be waiting an update from u

No my friend dont give up.. i am so sorry cant be of help as of now.. i am illprepared for my exams which are very important and see i am still online ..but will be full fledged working for the community soon..

Updated to this to froyo wich solved alot of bugs now its time for the serrious work
This is compiled from aosp (android open source project, wich means there are NO htc apps and no settings done from start) with jacobs kernel.
There is no market at the moment, will try to add this as soon as possible

All working fine at the moment. Light ROM, but really missing google apps. Could u make a flashable .zip of gapps as an addon?

Just a quick first impression. When going into phone dialer, some of the graphics of the UI are overlapped. ( 1 2 and 3 for example.)
But anyways, Great Job really. ! First aosp almost fully working rom. Congrats

Ok so I have market working now. I flashed gapps.zip and have all google programs working. Should be a nice complement to your rom.

O.K. guys here comes our first ICS customer rom.
This will be a coproduction with eybee, Chrack, nobnut and me.
Pls, pls dont forget it, this is an open customer rom beta from the first leak of ICS [email protected] Galaxy Note.
If you dont make a fullwipe after the ics flash, so pls wait for the official ICS Rom by Samsung.
Note, from Android v2.3.6 to v4.0.3 its a huge step.
You have to make a fullwipe after the flash!
If you set all you like, pls reboot...

How To get Root on ICS:
If you are already on Chinese ICS Stock ROM or any Custom ROM based on Chinese ICS, then first test if you are fully rooted. You can test that with Root Explorer by trying to copy/paste any file you have on your SD Card to you /system - if this copy/paste will be successful, you are already rooted properly.
If this test fails --> you are not on a proper rooted Chinese ICS ROM now!!! So follow each and every step from Reb0rn here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22877518&postcount=182

After that you will definately have FULL ROOT!!
Installation Instructions for v1.5:
After you have checked being on a proper rooted Chinese ICS (see point above!), do the following steps:
If you are not already on a proper rooted Team Rocket ROM v1.4, so pls make a fullwipe (Factory Reset) before your flash the v1.4, then flash the v1.4 and after this make a fullwipe again!!! If you will not do that, you will have serious trouble!!!! Reboot your device afterwards and setup your Google Account! (If you are already on a proper rooted v1.4, you do not have to do that and can directly go to point 2.)
After that boot back in Recovery and flash v1.5 without Wiping anything
Reboot your System
Now you have a fully working v1.5, bloody fast and ready for daily USE!

Yesterday I've been looking for apktool.jar to decomile/compile of ICS 4.0.3-*.apk's. Thats really important for us.
I found only a solution for *.jar Files but nobnut got it. Thank you so much, for spent your time!
Now we can both. Decompile *.apk files and *.jar files for ICS 4.0.3.
Warning!
Dont use the app "Superuser Update Fixer" e.g. for an update of "SuperUser" or dont update SuperUser via market!
We had already integrated a working app "SuperUser". (v3.0.7)
Pls use this "old" version and dont update to the newest.
There are known issues with Android v4.0.3.
It seems its not the fault from the RocketRomTeam.
btw if you have a backup (e.g. about Titanium Backup) of the newest SuperUser and/or SuperUser Update Fixer, dont restore it!
What is SuperUser?
explained quickly and easily:
This app manage the root rights.
If any app need root rights, so SuperUser asks you at least once to consent.
I know, you can disable this "asks" but I dont recommend it. For me its one of the best ways to find out, have I root or not, need this app root or not.

Now I'm on chinese leak, got some problems with random sod and usb not working in osx; problems also with wifi at 5ghz

As long as it has a properly functioning CWMR, I'm happy. Everything else can (and will) be fixed in time.

Introduction
Dear fellow xda members,
Few months back when i gave my Xperia Mini Pro to my girlfriend and bought HTC Legend for myself, i'm a bit disappointed to see there are just a few choices of ROM for this device. But now, we have more flavors of ROM. Now, i'm going to share one more ROM which also one of the ROM that i'm dying to see to be able to run in our device (apart from miuiv4), which is AOKP.
This ROM is my personal ROM, stable and faster than MIUIv4 with much more customization and usefull options than CM9. I have tested it for several days with a very heavy usage and i'm very happy on how it served me. However, i don't dare to claim it is the one for everyone. If you like it, then i'm happy for you. If you hate it, you can leave it. If you can help me and the others on getting it more better, then you are more than welcome. Please don't PM me for any patches/mod/bug fixes etc that you made for it but instead, PLEASE POST IT HERE so that i can link your post to the credits section which to ensure that any contribution you made will be recognized.

Hints/Tips
Press power+vol down together for few moments to take screenshots immediately.
Long press on the "settings icon" in notification to go to settings. Long press on the toggle button to go to the corresponding setting page.
Go to Settings -> ROM Control -> Tools -> Start-up tweaks, tick on the box to enable it and choose any tweaks you want to be started on boot by ticking on the corresponding boxes (enable sysctl and recommended and enable SD Boost is not recommended as i didn't test it much, unless you know what you do and choose the correct setting. Even without the SD Boost enabled, the ROM already very smooth.)
As usual, set Background Process limit to At Most 4 Processes under Developers options
If you have problems with Play store after applying custom dpi in ROM Control (i have tested it with normal play store and working just fine though), please apply patched play store from my Miuiv4. Will upload/attach it here later.

Bootloader Unlocked by any methods

Boot into CWM
Make backup
Wipe data, cache, dalvik cache
Flash the file

Google Apps (some gapps are included by default but if you need to reflashed the gapps), you can download it from HERE or HERE

Issues/FIXES
Camera hang/fc
1st, go to settings -> apps -> all then clear data for camera. That should do the trick.
If still not working, then replace the /system/app/Camera.apk with the one attached (stock aokp with no burst mode). Clear data for camera, go to cwm and wipe cache and dalvik-cache ONLY.
Phone issue when changing dpi
Follow hints from bialy663 HERE
Voice Search:
If you have issue with voice search, try tips from farukb HERE
IF didn't work for you, then do as follows:
1. Uninstall voice search using titanium backup OR
1a. uninstall using manually/adb
- reboot into cwm, mount /system/

- then type rm /system/app/VoiceSearch.apk
- clear cache and dalvik cache
2. install voice search from play store

1. Download the file from;

2. Put into your sdcard
3. Flash the file.

Thanks for the encouragements.
Right now i'm trying to include the new camera which a bit faster and have burst mode. Once finish that, will try to remove any unwanted apk before trying to put any extra tweaks, testing applying themes and other things. Just got permission from the dev of ROM that i take as aokp base so i think i can release it earlier than i expect.

Havent test it as i didnt use it frequently, but in zeubea's cm9 (which is this ROM based on), i got very poor results, accuracy of 1900m, might be because of my location (borneo island) or something else but i will test it.

Yes, the basics is all working fine even in the initial stage. All obvious bugs has been fixed. As i have mentioned in post #3, im on stability testing for now as i intended to use this ROM as my primary ROM.
I have used this ROM under heavy usage for 2 days without any single reboots, tonight i will do stress test on it and tomorrow once i get back to the office, i will clean up everything (and implement the OTA updater if possible) and upload it. So, i can say you can expect it to be shared here by Tuesday 28 aug.

really?? its working fine on my device,, or wait if there someone got that problem too.. i'm using newer touchscreen driver in my kernel to fix softkeys layout so no need to patch again..

Actually this rom is great but the problem is with latest kernel you have posted.
I used that with current installation and touchscreen stopped working.
For fresh installation the rom went into bootloop.
What I did was flashed your old kernel and then it started working.
But while opening camera setting it stopped working.
Otherwise it is a great rom.

For all those having touch screen problems, just try to flash the rom and leave it aside for a couple of minutes without doing anything on it let the rom settle, it worked for me.

Actually how long do we have to wait after the first boot? I leave it for an hour but the touch screen still not working:crying:

Hey I just waited for 5 to 7 minutes , just try to format system, data, cache and flash the rom then try flashing CK's kernel. This should work did this on my friends X6.

This is weird.. I've tried to flash more than 5 times and doesn't facing any touchscreen problem.. I will revert back input driver tonight..

Yeah it's very weird because on my spice mi410 I had no problems at all and on my friend's cherry mobile it had touch screen problems I tried a hell lot of things but it wouldn't work finally I flashed CK's .3b kernel and VIOLA!!! It worked.

initially had problem with touchscreen. flashed 35.7-oct.4-cm9 kernal. now working
very different taste after long time.
contacts forceclose problem.
dictionary not working

this is the best ics rom so far for my axioo vigo410
almost everything is working.
already tried it for several hours.
no random restart.
no issue about touchscreen.
no artefak.

Touchscreen also not responding (WellcoM A99) flashed 35.7-oct.4-cm9.zip to get working. T-Mobile theme chooser installs themes but cant set theme. Changed launcher and LeZo messaging icon remains unchanged.
Rom is very smooth though, nice alternative.

Have been using this from yesterday,
The report is :
Plus :
1. Still no random restart
2. Only once happened artefact on fonts
3. Almost zero force close
4. Temple Run working Fine (but more smooth on JoyOS GB)
5. Wifi, data connection, etc2 Working fine.
6. Playing 480p Video smooth (not tested 720p yet)
7. Record cam + vid using GB Cam is OK
Minus :
1. Available Ram is not much as on JoyOS GB hhe

hmm try this
set background proccess limit to "at most 3 process" and turn on force gpu rendering in settings - developer option
set Window animation and transition scale to .5x in settings - developer option
turn off icon shadow and change transitional effect (to whatever you likes) in launcher settings
turn off vibrate on touch in settings - sound
go to security centre folder - app control - and unselect application that you wont make it boot in background process.
Q: Menu key is not working, Where is the application drawer?
A: MIUI ROM Didn't have something like that. just swype homescreen to the right and there is yours app
Q: I Messaging app don't work, i can't SMS
Q: I Can't Copy in file explorer
A: Enable Root Permission - open Root Explorer app - Go to system folder - Open build.prop - and change ro.sf.lcd_density=240

You might want to actually make the system work at least 99% before you upload it.
Some bugs can remain but if its one of the main things you need specifically for the device then there shouldn't be a rom thread until it is fixed.

It´s booting,
Camera works.
No Problems with the Apps (only quick tested).
SystemUI-FC only if i tab on Nitification- or Quicksettings-Bar.
Mobile-Data need´s to be removed for P311X,
Messaging-App and Phone-App need´s to be removed for P311X too.
I´ll try your new Patch right after work and report back (mediafire is down).
I´ll post some screenshots to.
I tried it myself and i faild to port MIUI Someone told "...porting MIUI is a nightmare because it´s not OpenSource.... " i know what he mean

You can over come system ui force close.....
Congratulations for your new miui port.....
If you need v5 3.19 build let me know ....I have two ports with some bugs.....
Due to some other work I have stoped the project.
