Just today Microsoft Security Essentials popped an alert on my machine...

It was complaining about a file inside the SuperOneClick application. You guys seen this before? I have had this file with me for over 2 months now. Havent downloaded any new version either. Not sure why the alert popped in today.
Thanks.
Yep, thats normal.
Trolling in the deep
As it says, its just an exploit for the android os. If you didn't download it intentionally then you should be worried.

In my case Nod32 says it's a "Linux exploit". Anyways, as other said before me, you can ignore that warning as the SuperOneClick uses a "backdoor" to root the phone and you're antivirus sees that "backdoor usage" and reports it.
Btw, with Nod32 i had to actually temporarily disable the antivirus while i ran SuperOneClick, it just kept killing the application.

I been getting the following warning ever since I loaded this app on my phone:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I have roughly half the available memory left:
I don't understand why I would be getting this message.
Is there a known bug with this program? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
I have most my apps on my 16gb microsd card and have rooted and removed a lot of the bloatware.
Going to check to see where TiBackup stores it's backups as this might be eating some space but still, with over half the space still available, don't see how it is happening.
Have currently uninstalled the app and the warning has gone away.
Suggestions?

This is strange. Perhaps there is a promo I hadn't heard of, or some sort of awesome glitch?
I've had my Note 3 since release, and I know ATT's Note phones were not eligible for the free Dropbox promo with Samsung then...
But yesterday I installed Safestrap and put on XNote.
Today (just now) I installed Dropbox and connected.
Then I get this email:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
48 gigs for 2 years?
I'm not sure what mistake caused this, but I felt it needed sharing so maybe someone else might get in on whatever just happened to me.

thats not a default android error screen, its mist likely from one of your apps.
^agreed. never seen this before.
Yeah. Looks like an app error. OP, if You see this from the very start (E.g. just after unboxing) it may be from a pre-installed application. In case You've got anything pre-installed in Your device of course.
Hitting your recent apps button should give you the apps name at the top of the window

It's bizarre, can't see it in the running apps.. Oh well. I'll upload to google image search and try.
I haven't been rooted for a while (blasphemy around here, I know) and I got tired of waiting for the 7.0 update so I did the google.com/android/beta thing and now I'm running 7.0 NBD90Z. This is what I see when I try to use Root Explorer:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Before you remind me that I am not rooted -- it has still been working as a normal file manager, even though I haven't been rooted... it just hasn't allowed me access to system directories that need root access (obviously)... so I've been able to still work with my files. But now it's not even letting me do that. I have posted over on Reddit (r/Nexus6) and emailed the developer. Just throwing this out in case anyone else knows of a solution for this.
I love this app. I have been using it for years. Please help
Actually I am a colossal idiot. Mark this solved. If anyone else has this problem...
Hit the top left menu | Bookmarks | Storage.

In the application you are installing,
try to remove them in order
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
There's no picture. If it started suddenly it must be from something you installed recently. So it really can't be that difficult to locate it.
