How to reflash xperia x8??
Using flashtool (not pcc or seus)

1.Download flashtool
2.Download stock rom image from http://www.multiupload.com/XLV6AA41DB
3.Download baseband suitable to your phone from (http://www.mediafire.com/?d3pobqqc3py66)
4.Place both files to flashtool/firmwares folder
5.Install drivers from flashtool/drivers folder
6.(Dont connect your mobile to pc),Now click flash in flashtool and flash rom first
7.Flash baseband
8.Disconnect and restart
9.Done

And since the reply from above has a dead link because mujeeb999 failed to recognize that
MultiUpload is DEAD
Click on the link in my signature and hop into the "Sony Ericsson" folder.
In there you will find the Stock ROM FTF files (2.1.1.A.0.6 or 2.1.1.C.0.0 for the X8 - packed as 7-Zip as the unpacked files exceed the 200MB filesize limit of MediaFire) for Flashtool as well as the Baseband FTF files.
There's also a "Flashtool" folder where I put a collection of Flashtool versions for download.

Which OS? Windows XP?
If yes, FlashTool v0.2.9.1
You actually have any Java Runtime Environment installed?

The JRE would be sufficient.
Anyway, if you ...
Option 1:
- Correctly installed the Android drivers.
- Are using Flashtool 0.6.7.0 and installed the 64-Bit JDK/JRE (6u31 or 7u3)
(Flashtool 0.6.7.0 comes with a 64-Bit executable that's being used on Windows Vista/7 x64)
Option 2:
- Correctly installed the Android drivers.
- Are using Flashtool 0.2.9.1 and install the 32-Bit JDK/JRE (6u31 or 7u3)
(yes, Flashtool 0.2.9.1 is a 32-Bit only app therefore requiring the 32-Bit Java JDK/JRE)
... then it should actually work and not throw an error back at you.

First you should unlock your bootloader, otherwise your phone will be bricked. Next, are you sure you installed the drivers correctly? On Windows 8 and above you have to disable driver signature, otherwise the drivers simply won't be installed.
When all that done you could try to enter fastbood mode via flashtool. Make sure you're using an old version, as the newer don't really support the Z.

First :- You should unlocked the bootloader by sony's offical site for your by cmd .
Second :- Use window 7 for better and fast response to your phone ...
Third :- to come in fastboot mode you should switch off your phone then connect use and keep pressing volume up button blue light will display.
Then type this cmd in your all driver :-
1. adb devices – Checks whether your device is connected or not. If its connected, some random numbers will appear in command window.
2. Use this command to flash a stock kernel or any custom kernel:
fastboot flash boot _____.img
3. Use this command to flash custom recovery like CWM or TWRP in your phone:
fastboot flash recovery _____.img
Last :- wipe all data when youy intall twrp/cwm (recommended TWRP Latest Version) flash your selected ROM with GAPP...
Happily enjoy your comtomized ROM..

flashtool failed remote command not allowed when flash boot.img file

flashtool failed remote command not allowed when flash boot.img file
Check your adb and device drivers are installed properly. Disable driver signature verification if you are on win 10 and win 8.1 then install drivers from flashtool's driver setup file. I suffered this issue before 2 times. My phone was bricked. I had to reflash and reroot my phone from beginning.
PS: You can use remote commands for flashing boot.img files ONLY IF YOU UNLOCKED YOUR BOOTLOADER
UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER yes
i am using windows 7 os ,before boot.img flashing perfect work
but,i am flashtool uninstall after that failed remote command not allowed when flash boot.img file
Can you solved your problem? same way with Mate 9
Go to Configuration, Security, and Disable "MyXperia" protect!
And reboot!
After reboot enjoy!

[GUIDE][QFIL] FLASHING QFIL IMAGES [YU Yureka Black]

Procedure For Flashing/recovering your Garlic using QFIL/QPST Tool
REQUIREMENTS :
-A working PC.
-Qualcomm Drivers.
-QFIL Tools (I'd prefer and recommend ver2.0.05 as it is much more efficient than the newer ones) *Required .Net Framework 4.5 or higher
-ADB Drivers (just in case if your phone ain't bricked and you don't know how to boot into edl mode)
-N/M Full Firmware files (No the N-Firmware or M-firmware files provided by me).
-Back up your internal storage as this would wipe the internal (I prefer it this way)
-If you are using the QFIL 2.0.05, then you should install the tool.
-Extract the Firmware file and copy it to <directory where you installed qfil>/Qualcomm/bin/ this is to avoid sahara failed error.
-In simple words, keep the extracted firmware files inside the QFIL's folder.
-Connect your phone to PC and type in adb reboot edl in adb terminal to boot into EDL mode, or reboot edl in terminal emulator.
-If you have installed all drivers properly, your phone should be listed under Ports in Device Manager as Qualcomm Diganostic Device xx9008 (note this number, this is important) if your are getting 900E or 9003 (in case of bricked phone) you need to make it boot into 9008 mode using Deep Flash Cable (Guides to this will be provided soon, or you could just refer Google).
PROCEDURE :
-Open QFIL Tool.
-Once the phone is connected in EDL mode, it will show up under the ports (automatically selected, still if for any reason, open up and select port)
-Select Flat Build.
-Select the Programmer Path. It will open up the file browse window, go to the location where you have extracted the firmware and select Programmer_emmec_firehorse file.
-Select Patch File and select raw_unspare.xml file.
Now select Patch.xml.
-Click Download Button and flashing process will begin. Wait till it finishes and hold down your power button to boot your phone.
