[q] can i update with my contry official firmware

Hi i am from india i updated my phone to 2.2 by heckreg method but will i be able to update to my region official firmware when it is available.

Probably yes and if not you can always use the reg hack to make kies think you are on an older official rom from your region and it should show you the correct update.

Hi, it's my tab cant upgrade to gingerbread? Even the when the official firmware available in malaysia?
Coz my fren using galaxy ace, is show diff from me

You have to manually flash gingerbread. It may not officially be available in your country yet, but you can still get gingerbread. Search tab development thread for gingerbread rom.

But I'm confused tat, if when my country available the firmware update, i still cant upgrade it?
I'm scared tat i cant upgrade the official firmware, cos mine still under warranty so plan to upgrade the official if can.
I get the info from some others chinese forum, some of the version cannot be upgrade to gingerbread. It's true?

The case may be that the country/region server does not yet recognize the
current firmware version (PDA:KM3 / PHONE:KM1 / CSC:KM2 (XME)) that you have. i also get that notice when i tried KM3_KM1_KM2 on my tab. i'm from the philippines and as per experience the only firmware that my kies recognizes for is the one that came with my tab when i bought it which is p1000dxjk2.
hopefully, when they "officially" roll it out for SE Asia, we will be able to update through kies. but for now i'm enjoying the stock gingerbread + CF-Root by chainfire.

[Q] Telstra Firmware for Samsung Galaxy S2

Hi Guys,
I know that Telstra will be pushing out the ICS official firmware in early april. My problem is I cannot find a working version of the official Telstra version as all download sites I can find lead to Multiupload - which is down. I need this version to downgrade so when the official version comes out so Kies will recognise my firmware.
Does anyone know of a working site leading to the official Telstra firmware?
Or any other way of getting the ICS Telstra firmware if I do not have the current telstra firmware installed?
Any help would be great!

ICS available on OMN (Italy)

I have a note for like 2 weeks..it has 2.3.6 on it and the csc code is OMN which i found is from Italy. I Cant find update over wifi with OTA nor via kies, where it says that my note has the latest firmware.. any ideea when the update will be available for my phone ? or is a solution for updating it without rooting ?

we're waiting the ICS update for OMN devices in Italy.
The ICS update for no brand device has arrived last week and I hope that for OMN device it will arrive in a few days.

Hey guys,
I've only just recently managed to finally update my firmware on my SIII LTE to 4.1.2 which is stock.
Could you confirm what the latest stock firmware is please?
I'm seeing lots of later version numbers, some custom ROMs with even higher version numbers yet my Kies is saying I have the latest?

Latest listed August ME3 4.1.2
Kies will only update the firmware and product codes you have . Your phone vendor supplies the update .

Thanks JJEgan, I'm with T-Mobile (EE), the original phone was Orange and both websites state to update I should use Samsung Kies

Two update paths one OTA but will fail on rooted phones.
Via Kies and of course that will be the Orange update .
Or learn how to flash any stock rom via Odin .
