[Q] Froyo Boot animations?

What animations are compatible with DL30 and it's variants such as JTs superclean.
I just want to know before I try and end up bricking it. Would such bootanims work with a theme installed?

Currently there are no boot animations that are going to work with this kernel.
Until a custom kernel shows.. we will have to wait.

I am thinking it wont be long until we have a custom kernel, JT knows what he is doing and birdman already made a custom .32. Not that much longer, maybe, I am thinking by the latest, end of next week.

[Boot Animation][Galaxy S][8/8/11] Samsung PS1 Boot Animation (with sound!)

Hey guys, I was just recently messing around with my old PS1 and said to myself, "What if my phone's boot was as awesome as the PS1's?" My custom animation isn't AS epic, but it gets the job done. Posted below is the download link, and attached to this thread are screenshots. To install, simply use "install zip" from ClockworkMod. Comment and let me know what you think!

Thanks for this, but I tried flashing the zip and it seems to have just reset my phone back to stock??? I was using a deodexed eg22 rom. I have a back up though. Man I was all excited to use this too lol I was working on something similar awhile back.

Hmmm that's strange I'm on Syndicate Frozen 1.2 deodexed but it should work with EG22... are you using the EG22 Plus Kernel? I'll flash an EG22 rom and test out how my boot animation works with it. If I can't get it working, I'll definitely try tweaking it and see what I can do.
Edit: I am aware of one or two EG22 Roms not working with custom boot animations. Which Rom are you using?

As far as I know there are no EG22 kernels capable of custom boot animations yet. From what I recall that won't be possible until the source drops.

Hello lg optimus 2x devs ....is it possible galaxy s 2 or s complete ROM port......on our optimus 2x...cuz galaxy roms are very user friendly...I mean complete putting of framework and ROM like flashabLe zip....

Well yes it is possible - but I highly doubt anyone would do that as such a big framework port would be a hell of work.
Just use a TouchWiz launcher - either a launcher theme (search Google Play Store) or for example this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1061883

Thanx bro I'm on dj room so having touch wiz I mean using Samsung dialer activity and mms apk the customization of 15 toggle by lildroid such stuff we won't get only by launcher ...so I wanted if any one can port the ROM complete like people pets galaxy s ROM to Samsung wave and even people powered HTC ROM on galaxy ace device can we do something like this on 2x...??

Hey guys, do any of you know if there is a a port for the Droid Xyboard's boot animation over to the Droid Bionic? If not would any generous person be willing to port it over?

Request for bootanimation

Hello, I have this bootanimation here, and I'm wondering if any of you can modify it for me?
I don't know how to do it, would be glad if someone teaches me to modify a bootanimation.
This is the bootanimation, what I want is to make it for the Galaxy S. Shows the specifications and stuff. Also, running on cm9 (Android 4.0.4), there's a part which shows "Android 2.2.something", change it to 4.0.4.

This is a BIOS bootanim. for Galaxy S, but I think it is ugly and all.

here you can find it optimized for the Galaxy S in .tar format but it still says 2.2 or 2.3
