On the ics theme for adw does anyone know how you make the button that opens the app drawer look like the proper ics one instead of the gingerbread one. All the pics I see of this theme running have the ics style icon forbthe app drawer and I want it to dammit hahaha

double tap the app drawer and select edit, tap the icon, then adw theme icon packs, then select the ICS theme, it should show you all the icons available for that theme
going from memory, hopefully I didn't miss a step

Doesn't Beautiful Widgets come with toggles? I don't see them. I just purchased the app from the Market and can change weather and clock but can't add toggles. Am I missing something?
Which alternate homescreen app / launcher do you have installed? ADW, Zeam, etc? If none then install one and long press on any homescreen in an unoccupied any area to see if you get the desired result.
I am using zeam. Long pressing does not show the toggles on the list.

how to place custom icons in the applicaion launcher. I know how customize them on the home screen, but i want them the same both ways. Thanks.
The latest version of launcherpro allows you to install Adw themes & Use the icons in them to change the drawer icons. Look under the "theme" menu in launcherpro settings.

I'm trying to get my status bar transparent. I've tried using Ninja Morph and Metamorph. Using Ninja Morph nothing happens. When I use Metamorph I get a ton of FCs and then I reboot. Once I reboot the status bar is black. Can anyone help me out? Thanks

Rummy method does work but only with certain launchers, eclipse default launcher work with transparent status bar but every other launcher doesn't
So I used UOT Kitchen to try and get the transparent Status/Notification bar. After I install the zip my notification bar becomes transparent however the status bar is white. I've tried using live wallpapers for Go Launcher and ADW. I've also checked the ADW wallpaper hack and I still get the white status bar. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Hello,
I found out that I can add Sense Widgets to the next launcher lite. They are full functional an resizeable.
In Apex or Nova launcher it isn't possible.
I was realy surprised that it is generally possible because in Sense 4 the widgets were integrated und Rosie, so why can I do it in Sense 5 and only in next launcher?

Hi,
This is pretty cool. Apparently you can use widgets and home screen settings from ADW, LauncherPro, LG TouchWiz, and HTC Sense with the next launcher. The details page of the Next Launcher at the Play store indicate;
We introduced the following permission to support our new function – Migrate home screen from other launchers
com.htc.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from HTC sense
com.lge.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from LG Home
com.fede.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from LauncherPro
org.adw.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from ADW Launcher
org.adwfreak.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from ADW Launcher EX
org.adw.launcher_donut.permission.READ_SETTINGS – Migrate from ADW Launcher donut
How cool. I did not know this could be done. Maybe I can switch away from Rosie now.

It's a decent launcher but still has 1 major glitch, like all the 3rd party launchers ... Non transparent status bar. The ugly greyish colour permanently is just too much for me, have to hide the status bar but it still annoys me when I unlock and it momentarily flashes grey before it hides ... Why is it not transparent on any launcher?

I am not all into theming but from what I understand the status bar has to do with the SystemUI and not the Launcher. I have a custom ROM with status bar tweaks and transparency enabled. I just installed Next Launcher and my status bar is transparent. Most of the time. Some apps it turns grey like gMail, Play store. But I think it is more that these apps have that screen area not drawn, and other apps I use, have that screen area drawn black.
The SystemUI is also why all the status bar apps on the Play store also do not have transparency. All these apps do is draw over your existing status bar. Transparent Status bar requires specific settings per ROM. Do correct me if I am wrong about this.
You're probably right dude, it just annoys me that in order to customize my phone how i like, i have to put up with that lol ... OCD is to blame but still, the little flash of grey is better than all the time.
I just flashed 4.2.2 and it isn't possible anymore...

Where can i find the settings to switch the Navibar to transparenz
in this Rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2208249
Thanks and sorry for my bad English
I haven't installed that ROM yet but I've used PA before so it should be the same.
If you go to 'Settings', look for 'Hybrid Settings', then you should get a colourful page. If you swipe towards the right it should show some other options, click on 'Apps' and then you can choose the settings you want per app (i.e. the statusbar colour, navbar colour, button colours etc).
I think transparency only really works with Launchers, so choose the launcher you are using and set the colour to transparent (so if you were using Apex launching, look for apex launcher, then click it, swipe left to 'Colour', click the colour icon next to 'navigation bar colour' and set as transparent).
Really really thanks
