Unable to flash custom ROMs

Hi
I'm trying to flash a custom ROM, to be specific: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1524108 , but I have a few problems.
Almost one year ago my Home button stopped responding which made almost all multitasking useless and I had to use d back button in order to get back to my home screen that obviously then exited wtv app I was using. Two days ago I managed to spill some water on my phone while I was listening to music through its speaker and 10 min later the phone suddenly shut off. The phone went into a bootloop and whenever I removed the battery and put it back in, the phone automatically booted back into the bootloop, as if the power button was constantly being pressed. Considering that my Home button doesn't work and now also my Power button, I couldn't enter recovery and when I entered Download Mode via my USB JIG the phone went in and out of Download Mode every 5 sec or so which made it impossible for me to flash back to stock with Odin and then flash CWM etc etc...
I decided to open my phone and cut over the Power button cable since I assumed it was already dead (I let the phone dry for 24 hours without any help before I did) and then when I put back the battery the phone didn't boot by itself. I plugged in the USB JIG and Download Mode is now working again. I have flashed a 2.3.4 stock ROM (JVP) and I'm using a CF-Root kernel with CWM 3.
I installed ROM Manager (Superuser came with the kernel) and I have checked that the phone is rooted, but whenever I try to flash a ROM through ROM Manager the phone doesn't boot into CWM and then tries to flash the ROM, it boots into Recovery e3.
I know I have CWM installed considering I've tried this without flashing CWM with ROM Manager, and with CWM from ROM Manager.
The ROM won't be flashed due to an error stating that the Signature isn't verified.
Is there any way for me to be able to flash the ROM with another method or to get the ROM Manager to work properly? I know my phone is in a pretty bad state considering I don't have a working Home button or Power button, but it works fine with stock ROM where I use an app that makes it possible for me to unlock my screen with my volume buttons.
Basically, my question is... how can I flash custom ROMs without a home/power button, and why isn't ROM Manager working?

PS. I have to flash a kernel through Odin everytime I want to boot my phone, is there anyway to boot the phone without having to flash over and over again?

I'm unclear as to whether you can enter download mode and flash through odin.
If not, perhaps you could try mobile ODIN off the play store and see if that works.
The reason why i'm saying so as if you can enter download mode i'd flash this (darky's rom) rom.
It's rooted, has CWM installed and is just a one step odin process to a nice stable rom.
Perhaps you could try 'rom toolbox' to enter recovery and download, get it from the app store.
And as you're phone is pretty broken, i assume you probably wanna flash one rom and stick with it. So either flash the rom i just linked you to or this (gamerzrom ninja) one.
Gamerzrom ninja however requires you to flash stock JVU in odin, then semaphore 2.5.0 kernel in odin, then enter CWM and wipe data, cache, dalvik cache and then flash the gamerzrom zip file.
That is quite a few steps and with you're phone so broken it may be easier to just do the first one which is one ODIN process, however the latter rom i suggested is more optimized and has more power overall, ram, etc etc.

The DarkyROM might come in handy considering it's flash-able through ODIN. The other ROM really isn't much of an option for me as I cannot do anything in CWM other than navigate up and down due to the fact that my Home/Power buttons don't work.
I'm able to get into CWM without much of a problem, but I just get stuck there...
The reason I want the ROM I linked to is because it has built in on-screen buttons, which then will make it possible for me to finally have my Home button back.
Is there no way to flash a ROM without the use of CWM? or without actually entering CWM and doing so manually?

Need help- Stuck with a bootloop

Here is what i did to get into this situation.
I was on ICS Stunner (latest) with root
I wanted to go to Stock ICS (downloaded the German one - >600 MB)
Started PC ODIN -> Phone in Download mode -> PDA (Stock ICS)
hit the start
it installed and rebooted. Then it showed me the samsung animation and gave me the blinking Samsung logo for about 10 mins
got frustrated and rebooted.. same situation again..
now i got even more frustrated
wanted to downgrade to GB and then do it
PC ODIN -> Phone in Download mode -> PDA (N7000ODDKL1) India nonwipe version
installed -> rebooted...
Now am at a stupid bootloop
Please help me out of the situation
I presently yanked the battery and am waiting on you guys

Put the battery back in, boot into stock Recovery and do
-factory reset
-cache wipe
-reboot

Did that .. cool .. thanks for the quick response..
Now am back to GB
Should i use the same steps above to go to the new ICS ?
PS - it would be good to have the CF root ;-)

You could've done the same when you got stuck after flashing ICS.
It happens quite frequently after stock Rom Odinning. And the cure
is fairly simple - do whatever wipes you can from the stock Recovery.

so i guess i will just use PC odin and flash the new ICS ..

Just did it m8 .. i think am all set now

just turn of your phone
then
press home buttom+ volume up + power buttom
u will get in a screen
chose wipe data/factory reset
then wipe cache
then reboot

[Q] phone playing up bootlooping and CWM playing up

hey i was running CM9 on my phone and i had a lot of X has stopped working errors so i rebooted into recovery to fix permissions like i usually do when it does that every few weeks when i rebooted my phone it failed to reboot properly it just sat on the boot animation screen i left it there for 10-15 minutes before pulling the battery i tried several times turning it back on but every time it would get stuck on the boot animation screen i tried to get it to boot into CWM to reflash my rom but that just caused a boot loop so i plugged my phone into odin and flashed a bootloader and managed to get into CWM but it only worked for a minute before whenever try and go into any option in CWM id get some error screen (it had a droid with a yellow asterix iirc) i did eventually manage to get devil kernel 1.4.1 working long enough too flash CM9 but every time id select reboot now it would reboot the phone into CWM even turning my phone off and back on it would just boot straight into recovery
at the moment i have just flashed stock firmware and am in a bootloop
has anyone had this problem and been able to fix it? or know of a way to fix it?
on the plus side i bought my S3 last night just gotta get my S1 to last till it arrives!!
update i seam to have fixed it i flashed semaphore 2.0.6 with odin then flashed cm10 in recovery and got it to boot dont know why no other roms etc i tried is is possible that since CM10 and semaphore 2.0.6 dont use the /datadata partition (which to my understanding is its own flash chip) the reason they worked and nothing else did because my /datadata is broken?
another update it just said my imei number is invalid im in australia (i dont know if that affects anything) is an invalid imei number bad?

Device is stuck on boot logo

Hello, I have a problem with my Galaxy Note and I don't know what to do.
A few hours ago I tried to start the device as I usually do after I turn it off, but the device does not turn on and only stays stuck on this screen: "Samsung galaxy note n7000".
I'm running this Rom: "[ROM][4.1.2 JB]Ultimate N7000 XXLSC JellyBean 4.1.2 v5.1".
I have the ability to log into CWM by the combination of the known keys
I hope you guys can help me, thanks in advance.
(Note: The battery is charged and i also tried to remove it and put it back in.)

This problem happened to me before with the xxlsa leaked rom
Do a wipe from a safe kernel and flash the rom again

Try to boot into recovery and do a reboot recovery and then reboot.
Else you may do a backup and restore the same backup. It works most of the time. But a little time consuming.

Had same problem by loosing power. The device wont boot anymore. Fix per, reinstall without wipe did not work. Switch rom

i believe this problem comes to all jelly bean leak always Stuck on the first boot.
just got this problem again how i did it ？press power on Stuck on first boot next step straight away press 3 button go to recovery n hit reboot system n my phone bootup n back to normal.

How can i replace the kernel and reinstall the rom if I cannot see the device on my computer when it's connected?

I've already tried both methods you have specified and none of them worked.
My attempt to make a Nandroid backup has failed and the CWM said something like "backup of /data failed".

Hi, this is not the first time I try to boot the device after installing a new rom.
I'm with this rom for a few weeks now and the problem occurred only yesterday.

This is well known problem with xlsc rom. U have to wipe everything and to flash rom. There are some solutions with backup/restore but they didn't work for me.
So, complete WIPE, and than flash!!

Backup of data failed because of insufficient space. Make backup to internal if there is more space.

i have the same problem since i full wipe and flashed asylums 20130302 build. after doing a full wipe and clean install, i started downloading my regular apps from playstore and suddenly it turned off just like when you remove the battery.
i tried the following::
1. full wipe and installed the rom -- it boots up few minutes then shuts off and wont boot up without charger
2. restored from nandroid -- same as above
3. full wipe and installed previous builds -- same
4. full wipe + flashed latest build 20130303 + latest gaps for JB 4.2 -- same
5. check battery stat -- ok
whenever it shuts off, it wont turn back on unless without a charger. it just shuts off at random. this is the second day I'm experiencing it and its frustrating.
any help? thanks
edit:: btw it shuts off at boot animation

In the other thread where you asked this question too there are members who replaced their battery and solved it this way.
Maybe you should try this and replace the battery.

[Q] Stuck on Welcome Screen... lenovo k3 note

hi so yestarday i installed the "aosp-k3note-5.1.0" rom and it all went fine but worked slow and without bluetooth.
so today when i got home my dad told me he just installed a new rom from romnation(he dosent remember which rom but he said it was an offical rom)
BUT he downloaded it stright to the phone and installed it without erasing anything(date/cache/davlik)...
so when he tried to use the phone it will gives errors like gaps stoped working and all kind of stuff that made the phone useless...
so i downloaded "VIBEUI_V2.8_1526_7.80.1_DEV_K50-T5" rom and gapps64 and went to the CMW and this time i erased the date cach and davlik and installed the rom and after that the gapps
and now i cant get past the welcome screnn becuase as soon as i choose english or chinse it will give me "wlan has stopped" and return to the language menu...
so now im stuck becuase i cant use adb to root it and SP tools dosent work too(i tried to keep it pluged for an hour and it still wont do anything with ot without the battery)
what can i do? and thanks for any help...

Try removing the battery and plugging the phone in to the PC.
Start SP Tools with CWM set in the scatter and only recovery ticked
Press Download in SP tools and then insert the battery
CWM should download to phone
If that fails repeat but plug the phone in once you press Download, then insert the battery.

Omg..i have almost exactly the same problem and the solution that MrAAnderson suggested didn't work.Here's how i ended in this problem.I was running VIBEUI_V3.0_1602_7.407.1_DEV_K50-T5 ROM on TWRP recovery made By Pr1nc3V app Lenovo K3 Note Manager [v2.1].Since i had annoying bug with "R" (roaming icon) and "gapps stopped working" issue i wanted to re-flash same ROM.I entered into TWRP recowery,cleared dalvik+cache,rebooted into recovery again.Now i wanted to flash ROM,but it didn't flash it gave me an error,same thing happens if i try to flash stock recovery (i even tried naming ROM and recovery as "recovery.zip" and "update.zip").Rebooted the phone but i'm also stucked on welcome screen where i can't pass it because of "Unfortunately,WLAN stopped working".
Tried to flash ROM and stock recovery with SPFlashTool but the tool doesn't see phone at all,same as Lenovo K3 Note Manager by Pr1nc3V .Right now i'm running out of solutions for this mess i created,any advice will help.Help me please to restore my phone.
EDIT: i just realized that i actually made a "factory reset" in TWRP recovery..not just wipe data,cache and dalvik.....what are my options now folks?

Ok i'm happy to announce that i resolved my problem (after a panic mode on,lol).Here is what i did..
1. Obviously you have to get back on your stock (original,ugly chinese-english one) recovery (in case you already didn't..).To do that i used SP Flash tool.(i wouldn't go into details but if you need just ask).
After that we have following situation..stock recovery + dev ROM (which isn't working well).
2.If you try to flash any ROM in this state it will fail (based on my experience,i tried to flash exactly same ROM which is already installed..no way.).So now next step is to get a CUSTOM (TWRP or CM) recovery,again flashing it with SP Flash tools.
From this point you can choose wher would you go...STOCK rom ,MODDED one ...anything actually.I hope i clarified a bit.
