[Req] Nexus S animations.

Anyone know if the animation for Nexus S can be powered for this phone? Just hoping someone has been able to pull it off.

You mean the gingerbread one where when you lock the phone its like a old tv how it closes

the nexus s screen off animations only work in 2.3...theyre built into the framework or something

[ACS] Custom transition animations with Metamorph

Here are some custom transition animations that can be included in your rom/theme combo!
These are NOT flashable through clockwork.
They are to be used with metamorph, which is an app in the market!
ONLY tested on EC05. I have no idea if this works on gingerbread or not, let me know if you try it.

use tbackup to delete anything that was bundled wit the rom you don't need, at least thats what I do.

Hey I've seen these. Lol, fold is the bomb. And themers: this is a good easy way to customize it for your theme if you don't like messing with apk manager. just apply it and rip your framework.

I would say these don't work on gb.. the site they are from said that they were for froyo.. they affect your framework-res which is completely different from froyo. The error your getting about not enough space is because of metamorph, not your setup I don't think as I've gotten it a few times on froyo. I bet you have 2 busybox installs.

Cant seem to get this to work...Metamorph says applying framework but it just freezes on that..i let run for 10 mins and nothing just stays stuck on applying framework

Did it mess up your install when you rebooted? Somtimes I've had to do a manual reboot.

Yea did the manual reboot and nothing...

Id try to give it another whirl. Make sure you close as many apps as you can before hand and don't let the screen turn off while its morphing.

Just to be sure, this does *not* work on stock deodexed ec05 does it? Only custom roms?

According to the app info in the market, says the phone needs to be rooted and running busybox. It doesn't dismiss stock rooted devices directly.

What if i wanted to do an animation change between the dock pages? Example if im on my homescreen and i swipe my finger left or right i want to see a screen in a cube animation or turning a page animation ect...i am not talking about animations for when a softbutton is puched thats already been said and done in this thread.

The launcher would have to have that setting built in.

[Q] i want a black notification bar?

im trying to find a black notification bar for D3. i downloaded one off of droid pirate and tried to metamorph it but it was a no go. Anyone know? Dont tell me to flash a gingerbread theme that has one included in the package either lol. i kinda want to just stick to something else. Thanks!

You could try flashing the ICS theme after flashing the Stock Deodex ROM. Literally should only take you 10minutes to do. Flashing those two went really fast. Otherwise SD or Monster ROM would be your best bet if metamorph isn't working for ya. The ones on DroidPirate weren't working to good for me, either. But the whitebread theme and the green one here seem to work great.

Word ill try the ics theme. I am already stock deodexed so hopefully itll work. Yeah i tried this one gingerbread theme and tried to metamorph that but alls it said was status bar force close. And it kept doing that over and over again. it was one that gave u the neon green notification icons at the top. It pissed me off then i rebooted and no changes applied so i gaveup on that. could you possibily send the link or thread for that ics theme?

By the way, usually you're gonna get force closes at first, that's normal. But when you reboot manually it should stop.

Great job big. Really like the look. Like the screenie. Know exactly how my phone would look before I flashed. We got the same wallpaper and setup
Edit.. and the bootanimation is some funny [email protected]#$! Kinda dances like I do when I have had a few too many drinks

When you send me the edited pngs I will slide them into mine which is the solid blue circle and blue overscroll. Then I will give to you to post here as well if you like.

Going to change the boot animation too brigh and a battery drainer..so expect a new one

You can flash this in cwm and it should work fine. If you are gonna just use the bootanimation, delete or move old bootanimation from system/ media and copy and paste this one in its place. Reboot=profit??

For the most part yes however there were some indexed colors meaning they weren't able to be colorized by gimp because they weren't rgb layered. There are probably one or two yellow selection colors

Awesome - love the Boot animation - thanks for the Battery Mod too - works great.
I noticed that when charging the numbers in the center of the circle start at the level the battery is in - say, 65, then go up fast to 100 - then back to 65 pause and then it does it again, over and over - kind of cool - never saw this on a battery mod before -

I use nova launcher for starters and it has the option to use gallery pictures as the icons and i "borrowed" the icons from another thread.
