Strange, Sammobile lists it as '2012 February' without a 'droid version number. Yet the threads you posted have been written in 2011. Sorry, didn't look THAT far back, written my opening post from my phone on-the-go
Its because they just update the OP of their original threads instead of making a whole new thread every time they release a new version of their Custom ROM based on a new stock firmware.

Those threads were started in 2011, but were updated yesterday with LB1.
I didn't mean their forums, I meant this page: http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&t=1&o=1&m=GT-N7000&r=1#regiona There is no date that would have indicated a 2011 release there. Nevertheless, delete this thread please

Maybe because it's only a few days old...
Common...
And It's called LB1, not like in the title of this thread. So, L for 2012, B for february.

I suppose you could download LB1 from Dr. Ketan's thread. Then you could install it using Mobile Odin, with 'Enable EverRoot' and 'Inject Superuser' checked.
That way you'd keep your present rooted CF kernel, and get it later updated when Chainfire releases CF--Root LB1.

That's why uninstalling (or deleting all related apks and Kies folder from /etc in Rom zips) Kies is my first priority when flashing anything.

Anyway, if you want to get root again, you should download an older stock Rom from Dr. Ketan's thread, let's say KK9, beacuse it's directly rootable.
Flash it using PC Odin (you'll find detailed instructions in the abovementioned thread).
Then root your KK9 (instructions here).
Then you revisit what I have posted above about Mobile Odin and upgrade to LB1 whilst keeping your root.
i don't know why this tread isn't close yet ...

Guys, even the ROM customization has already started I think that very useful would be to have stock ROM backup for the warranty claiming cases. I found site with links to different SGN stock ROMs. I have not installed any of them so be careful.

It needs someone with an obsessive attention to detail, and all consuming passion to list and catalogue everything, rom wise especially!

After the last ICS leak yesterday came out for the Samsung I9220 Galaxy Note,
we now come with the first ICS leak for the Galaxy Note N7000.
The Galaxy Note N7000 is more popular than the I9220.
This is of course because the I9220 is actually only for the Chinese market.
Luckily we got our hands on the first ICS ROM for the Galaxy Note N7000.
This ROM is based on Android 4.0.3 firmware number as N7000XXLP1
We expect this ROM will still have many bugs.
Especially since this is the first leak.
BEcause this is a CUSTOM rom your CUSTOM binary will walk.
Below are all our screenshots plus a little video of the rom …
If you want to talk about this firmware you can do so through our forums.
Downloading is also ony via our forum topic.
On our FW page you only can find OFFICIAL firmwares by Samsung.
This rom is a early CUSTOM rom by Samsung based on Android 4.0.3.
Samsung did the same by the Galaxy S II. (I9100XXLP1 – I9100XXLP2 both CUSTOM by Samsung.)

hi, how to install this rom safely?
I'm on the cinese rooted+cwm one now, is it worth to flash this?
So if im reading correctly, this is a different rom to the chinese yesterday ??
Because this rom here is on sammfirmware for the i9220, yet you say its not for that phone, so you can see why the confusion, so any further info would be appreciated, as i suspect this is just the same rom that chain repacked ?

Use mobile odin - this is not a CWM zip as far as I can see.
So, can this be updated with CWM without losing root and keeping CWM?
I'm guessing:
1. Update ROM using CWM but keep old kernel.
2. Update Kernel using CF-Root kernel LP1.
Will that work??

In danish it says:
'Updating NFC firmware - please wait'.
After a short while I get this screen:
In danish it says:
'Updating NFC firmware - FAILED (000006)'.
I am on stock ROM. Unlocked bootloader. Not rooted. I upgraded from .350, was rooted and had CWM recovery. I upgraded via PCC.
I cannot enable NFC. As soon as I tick the enable NFC box, it gets deticked again.
Can anyone explain why this happens and what I can do to remedy the situation?

It's not very obvious that the two issues are related as the OP in the thread that you are linking to does not mention anything about updating problems and error messages.
Actually, the only thing my thread and the thread you are linking to have in common, is that they are both about NFC problems.
However, I will try to re-flash via. PCC.
Thanks,

I have an International S4 Active, which apparently come from France with MF5 on it. I can flash the UK (BT) MF5, and that works. Any MF7 based rom I try to flash ends up getting 95% of the way through and failing with "Ext4 error". I have tried Australia and UK MF7 images without success. Has anyone else successfully upgraded an MF5 device to MF7? I can see that it should work for a UK(BT) device according to this url:
http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/4...ive-android422-i9295xxuamf7-jellybean-ota.htm
Maybe I should've bought a UK device, but when I bought it off eBay it said it was an "S4 Active International" .. *shrugs* I was surprised to see it boot up for the first time in French.

Thanks. I still didn't find it on that page. But now I could at least google or the exact file name and downloaded it from somewhere else.
Hm, following the guide I get a "signature verification failed" error. But the installation does not abort, appears stuck though. Can I simply reboot?
Edit: yes I can. Hm. I wonder whter the zip I dowloaded was faulty. I took this one: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95864024717070531
Edit2: I redownloaded the file and tried it a second time. Again it throw the error, but the installation proceeds apparently... the bar at the bottom increases steadily and has already reached the right edge of the screen... which appears kinda fishy to me. It even got a dent in it. Looks very glitched.
Edit3: definitely glitched...
Given that I am apparently uber-stupid and also blind, could you maybe post the link from the thread to the download for me, that I apparently am utter incapable of finding? That would be too kind
Edit4: I finally found it, lol. Thanks anyway
