about N7000 update to ICS rom - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

this is right or not?
N7000.... update to rocket rom ICS beta test,,,
is going to I9220?

The reason it shows i9220 is because the ROM was based on the ics leak for the Chinese note (The i9220) which was also working for our n7000.
Also, they have already fixed it on the newer releases of team rocket. It shows GT-N7000 now.

[Q] Android version for note

Hi,
My note came with android version 4.0.3 and I got tuns of problem (from application that collapse and random restart of the device).
Is it probably an androind problem or my device hardware is not good?
What is the most recommended (and stable!) android version for the note?
You get a note with Android 4??? A new one or from ebay or something?
Android 4 isnt officially released for the note, so you must have a leaked or custom rom on you device.
My advice would be:
Go back to Gingerbread (Android 2.3) there are a lot of HowTo's in this forum
your note is sure second handed
At least tempered by someone

How to get update?

I have a curious question.
I have GB 2.3.6 on my note. everybody says that the ics upgrade is on the way however my note says there is no update.
Whats happening if I load up and indonesian stock rom or a rom from the country where the upgrade rolled out.
Or how its working?
I bought this note because samsung say its ics now. I need to test the video capabilities of ics 4.

[Q] Where do I download stable CM10 release for GT-N7000?

The stable CM10 releases are available for Galaxy Note (TMUS & AT&T). However, I didn't find one for GT-N7000 International version. Is there a reason? Or just a blip ?
I don't use aosp roms but if there's any stable release should be in get.cm under the n7000 link.. If not there then there's not stable release yet for note.. But there is cm9 stable..

I noticed the stable releases for other variants, hence the question.

Reasons can be found in cm10 threads n7000 probably not stable enough yet for stable release. Might, by the looks of it never be, judging cm10 maintainer google+ comment

[Q] Installing CyanogenMod 10.2.1 from Gingerbread 2.3.3 (Is It That Simple?)

Hi guys i have an Samsung galaxy s I9000 runing android 2.3.3 and i want a better rom (fast, stable, battery drain...) so i've downloaded cm-10.2.1 as it is the latest stable cyanogenmod rom for galaxy s and now i want to install it and i want a guide i need kernel GAPPS and cwm and if possible root and i want to now if there is an other rom better than cm
Anyone To help ??
No one cares i'll try and do it my self :crying: :silly:
10.2.1 is very good in daily use and stable, but I can recommend Mackay ICS 1.7. IMO the fastest build for our SGS. It miss some unique features from Android Jelly Bean but works a bit smoother.
Every time I downgrade version of Android I flash 2.3.6 JVZ by Odin, then CF-Root. Finally I install clean build by CWM. No problems so far.

I have CM11.0, works great on my old Galaxy S.
I think 4.4 is more adapted to small memory devices then 4.3
Never tried CM 10, but CM11M6-CM11M8 is faster / more stable then any stockrom I had. Feels like a new device.
IMHO Updating GB 2.3.6 to CM11.0 M8 is a no brainer.
