When I was in Denmark last week, it only takes me one and half hours to download it with same size same website.
This is off of a developer device and again cannot be flashed by any of us...so unless you can provide hboot this is nice to look at as a preview but not useful.

This is quite peculiar, they didn't implement Sense 3.6 or 4.0 for this?
Seems a bit strange, maybe it's still only in alpha testing stages as of right now.
I still wish that someone would port Sense 2 to our phone. I like it more than Sense 3, but I'm guessing that the resolution is going to be an issue.

No not really, its cheaper ion the carriers to use an older version,they will never release a build with the latest and greatest, costs them too much...so we get old outdated **** as a release...especially at&t they are notorious for outdated software, our device shouldve come with 3.5 2.3.7 from the door which is a bit better optimised for dual cores than 3.0 2.3.4 hell even the desire hd which is an old device got a newer kernel and sense than we did...so that should tell you something

It would be disappointing if they are indeed sticking with the 3.5.1, but I'm sure when 3.6 or 4.0 comes out for the Raider or Velocity, our chefs here will get it done

Well ill try porting it but i suspect data won't work just like on wdfowtys Incredible 2 froyo port this is mostly because it is a world phone so its cdma/gsm...

Your right. I'm getting closer. I just found a fix like two seconds ago that should fix the g sensor issue I'm having and will have an update soon. Hopefully and Lord willing.

Tried it just now. its smoother than the current miui roms .. I get no feel of ics 4.0 , no ics components , maybe the miui ui doesn't give me the feel of 4.0 .. there is a hell lot of text in chinese.. took me 5 mins to figure out how to change the language .. getting back to my rom .. i'm not a dev but afaik so far only samsung used gpu for animations and stuff. ics now supports that too nativly, guess its supposed to make everything smoother.
i mean the gpu isnt used much except for when you play games so its actually quite clever to use it

Sorry to hear it didn't work.
I pulled the apk from vjraider's rom.
You can always extract the htc_ime.apk from the rom you downloaded. so in your case wild childs.
Looks like each htc_ime.apk is specific to each rom.
Maybe i'll make one for each rom.
as long as the need is there.

Works perfectly! very very smooth and fast! just one thing, the menu button not work on home screen. when i press menu key nothing happens.
I checked out your rom and turned out that this is not only based on ril of my rom, but also every part of it. More likely cooking rom.
I am very uncomfortable. i never allow anybody to modify the rom.
Having an issue with this Rom. Aparently I no longer have any root access and super user keeps denying everything. I used root checker snd it said your device is not properly rooted :/

This thread was originally started by GalaxyUser, GalaxyUser has also done the initial port of the ROM so give all credit to him.
I am just here to continue the great idea GalaxyUser had in mind and to establish a ROM of sense 5.0 that will actually boot for our device.
This is Sense 5.0 ported from HTC Butterfly and HTC One
BOTH OF THE ROMS DO NOT BOOT YET
The main problem in the port are the lib files, and also the fact that we are not sure which lib files actually have the problem. Also a new kernel must be compiled before the ROM could be considered "working". Therefore I am looking for a professional who would be willing to put some time and effort into this ROM.

Always had a sift spot for the HTC ROMs especially after viper got ahold of the ruu.
You need to really work on the build.prop as well I was told . to call out certain sensors and location of the files . if you edit it wrong it won't boot and the ril port is the hardest .

I think i clicked on the dl link for the droid dna port but it downloaded the htc one build. however i downloaded the file in 5minutes and i never thougt that mega has that good servers. I looked into the build.prop and it seems untouched

And the build.prop also includes a code for HTC CID's which are not necceserely needed for this phone
EDIT: Yes the ROMs uploaded on mega are not different they're bot M7 ports. And the build.prop is not untouched a few changes have been made. The question is if those are enough.

I have a better idea. I'll ul the rom so you guys can work on it. be careful. When you flash this, you MUST flash the stock rom via bootloader to go back.
