Hi there people....I passed the Optimus 2x forum, and saw some treath of modded´s camera.apk that improved a lot their camera, and I was wondering if anyone don´t like to do something like that to our black??? I think he diserve that. After all, if other people can fo their phone, why don´t we can?
I give here my sugestion, so I´m here to be a tester
Improve our camera, I now that all the O. Black users are great dev´s and modders

theres a modded camera from zeus rom. I didnt try to install in different rom.
There is? Cause i´m using Zeus v4.02b and I didn´t see anything diferent

Hello All,
I recently installed cm7 to my DHD and noticed that the camera is different from that of the Native DHD Sense.
Does anyone have the Native DHD Sense Camera apk that i can use to install?
If not are there any solutions to this dilema other than installing a Sense rom?

I tried just to copy HTCCamera.apk from a Sense ROM to /system/app on CM7 and unfortunately but as expected it did not work.
I also do not like the stock Camera in CM7 and i switched back to Revolution HD.
Would be great if someone gets HTC Camera to work on CM7 ROM.
I can upload HTCCamera.apk, if anyone wants to work on it...

I´m looking for it too, I´m trying now lgcamera app while we can not have the sense camera in gingerbread, I´ve tried vignette, camera 360, camera zoom fx but i always come to stock camera..
hey. did anyone ever have a solution for this? I recently switched to Sense 3.5 and was reminded of the great camera Sense had.

there are quite a few camera apps much better than the stock one, but i have yet to find any good camcorder apps with touch to focus...
The only somewhat passable camcorders are Miui and LGCamcorder but both dont have touch to focus while filming.
Download MIUI ROM and extract the MIUI. Camera app. Install just as any other app from SD. It looks very nice, with all the transparency and touch focus like the one in sense roms. It only misses the after effects options.

The sense camera will never work on a CM or miui based rims as they,are missing vital closed source drivers.

It's Sense for CM7 (theme chooser). Description says it introduces the sense framework so you might actually be able to run the native sense camera app.

it would be great from you developers if you could make a ROM only with costum backround (like the great cranium mod), and the standart apps looking like the sgs II apps (and maybe, but it isn't such important, the sgs II lockscreen). if you say what to do, i would make it by myself. but i am not good in developing and i have no experieces ( just a little bit with iOS, but it's almost nothing and iOS is s*** ).

I got a serious Problem with my P990.
When i use the Stock App to make photos its all fine...i can see my last Photo in the Corner and when i click on it it shows me normaly the Photo fullscreen.
When i close the Camera and reopen i have a blank Picture in the Corner like i never shoot a photo ;(
NOW when i make a photo again the little Picture is there and the rest of the photos again...
Everytime i close the Camera the Pictures are not listet in the Camera App until i make a new Photo ;(
But In Quickpic the Pictures are still there...
Anybody an Idea?
And my LG Homescreen is very very slow ;( when i switch the Desktop its laggy and stuttering sometimes...not everytime but often ;(
OC to 1,4Ghz its a little bit smoother...
Use another Launcher??
The Device is with Stock GB 2.3.4 rootet and CWM and th HP Kernel SR2....

Try using GoLauncher...but this launcher is a memory consumer...I use the ICS Launcher and it works well for me.
are u using the Andi or Bravia engine mods for the Camera?
Mhh i dont know that are different engines for the cam

My advice change whole rom & kernel, stock rom is good at start but as tym goes on installing more apps will badly affect stock rom.its worst in my case my gallery run in 256 color mode,then I changed my rom
its really good.try this more good tutorials in forum so u can't face much problems.

ROMs are truly about your likes and feel...
There is CM7 wit a lot of features but if you are looking at near STOCK like ROM and some stability and features...Thanatos and also Django are really good....Iuse it too...but try to see what suits your taste
CM7 Kangs by Temasek are a craze and hot stuff...I love it too

It is a personal choice of what you like. Try all the ones in the market and then settle on one. I like MIUI more than CM7 maybe because i like its UI. But then its entirely my opinion. Test them out and choose for yourself.

Root stock rom ,remove(or even better freeze)unwanted apps and install spicas hp kernel and thats it. Thats how i have done it and i have fast,stable stock rom.

Which is good rom between Echelon or Zeus v6 rom? And how do i change extended power menu to default power menu in zeus or any custom rom?
i dont know if i read & understand corectly but ZEUS v6 is really good and Echelon too but i prefer ZEUS because its more stable and i did not notice any bug..Echelon has a awesome theme but its not good enough for me i tested every rom for more than one day, than i changed or leaved.
Zeus rom V6: Super fast, super stable and no bugs! Perfect.
I think you can try Zeus first because I'm using it

what downsides did you notice on echelon?
i'm on zeus v6 now, am realy satisfied but still want to try echelon.
Until now there is no downside. Maybe the unfished theme can be considered as one, since Zeus also has got hardly theming on it, that shouldnt make a difference.
Battery with low usage is 38% now, with 1d 10h of pretty low usage. But 3G or wifi always on.
I think both are simply great ROMs for everyday usage
i use SAPPHIRE ROM with ZEUS v6 at heart
i just love the work of this great dev achyut. both of his roms prada 3 and sapphire are extremely good, sexy and themed to the core.
but since zeus 6 has many tweaks, change was inevitable.
so i replaced the
1.app folder,
2.media folder,
3.fonts folder,
4.framework-res.apk, res-cappuccino.apk from framework folder,
5.build.prop
from SAPPHIRE 2.2 to zeus
now i have the FULL LOOK OF SAPPHIRE. HECK, IT'S 100% SAPPHIRE but i can use zeus scripts, can overclock and i fell so much in love with the optimus black that i dumped my boyfriend. lol

I got same idea. I was gathering in fo on "what from which one". A screenshot would be nice. If it isn't too much to ask.
the downsides are just that i had better experience with ZEUS, i dind tried Echelon Brahama so long, i really like the Theme but now im using MIUI, since i found the Forum, i change ROMs like underwear xDDD
maybe every 3 days i change the rom because of updates or somehting like that
You can try it, its good !
So far Zeus v6 is the one you should take.
Echelon is a good promise, but is unfinished yet... When it gets finished it'll definitely compete against Zeus.
BTW, I'm on Zeus v6 now and it's great!

maybe the Zeus rom V6 is better than others,and i think the MIUI2.5 is good too
