Hi,
Screen auto rotate doesn't work for me. I'm running CM9 build 16 and have the problem using both stock and semaphore 0.9 kernels.
Has anyone else got the same issue?
settings>accessibility> auto-rotate screen, check this
Hi,
It is set in the following screens: Display, Launcher/General and Accessibility.

Hey all just wondering if anyone has gotten gameboid to work if so how and what settings?
It just goes to a blank screen for me
Works perfectly for me. Only settings I changed were to make the orientation to landscape and I changed the scaling to maintain aspect ratio.

any app or setting available to enable screen rotation of 90,180,270 degrees? like cm rom.

From what i understand, the screen rotation is part of the ROM, so unless the ROM you use has that support you won't be able to activate 90/180/270 rotation.
Cyanogen has this in their ROM that's why it's available there.
P.S. any ROM based on cyanogen (like MIUI) has the same feature.
I have used many jb roms but still have an issue when I go to browser the screen dulls away down..is there anyway to sort this in a setting that i've overlooked or is it a feature or bug in j.b itself..?

Simple setting.
Open the browser and click the menu touch button and go to brightness. now disable the auto brightness option.

Thanks for reply but why do I need to disable auto brightness I never had to in gingerbread or ICS...its not a big issue just wondering why it does this..

In ICS as well browser and video player has its on brightness settings.. So disable individual auto brightness to make it dim and light up as the other screens
My stock ics has its own video and browser brightness and its auto brightness. So even when i am on auto disabled mode like in the dark room. Its sometimes annoying.

I'm currently on CM 10.1 M2 but using CM 10.1 since first experimental release. Is there any way to enable lock screen rotation or it's by design to have it portrait only? Is this even an option in CM? I think I've looked through all the options but to no avail... Thanks!
Hi. I have a Galaxy Nexus, and the ability isn't present in our CM 10.1 M2 either. Apparently it was in earlier builds in the display settings as a specific option, but is no longer there.
I notice that my Xoom doesn't have the option either, but the lockscreen still rotates.
Maybe all the actual phone builds don't have this then... I just replied because I've been seeking the same answers as you, but for the GNex.

As you can see you can try Screen Orientation on the Play Store. It rotates the screen and the lockscreen as you like. Check it out. I don't think that feature is available in the SGS but in 4.2 Moto Atrix they have it.

I have a somewhat strange issue with my Galaxy Ace.
In several roms, I'm unable to use the option to change the brightness by sliding the top of the screen. When i look in cynagen mod settings, it says auto brightness is enabled. I haven't enable anything, but I cannot change this.
I had this problem in cm9 from maclaw, i have it in cm 7.2 blackhawk and i had it in another rom.
However, I'd like to know how i can disable this auto brightness setting...
Where can I find this?
Idk exactly what you mean, but auto brightness isn't working anyways on our ace
