Hello i have a rooted gnote. But everytime i take a picture, the shutter makes a sound even if it is on vibrate. How do i make the camera sound go off?

Just put your phone in silence mode. You could use Tasker to automate that for you..

Try goto settings and uncheck sound "silent mode" - No sounds except media and alarms.
Mine works but probably i'm using custom ROM!
Tried it but didnt work..

What ROM are you running, i'm on the latest XXLB1 and that method still works for me...
Just turn your volume down to zero via the volume rocker.

Hi,
I've been using the GNote for 2 weeks now, and its been great so far. But I noticed a strange quirk while listening to music. Whenever a call comes, the volume gets reduced to 10 bars and the music enhancement settings go off. This happens in the touchwiz music player. After disconnecting the music settings don't revert back to the original volume or enhancements and I have to do it manually again. Did anyone else notice this issue?
I'm on XXKL3.Unrooted.
I noticed same thing on galaxy nexus.

So any way around this problem?
Nope

Hello everyone! I mount cm7.1 stable, I noticed an annoying thing, the volume of notifications is much lower than volume of the ringtone.
In settings> Audio I have all the levels up (I also tried to disconnect the volume of notifications to the incoming calls)
In settings> CyanogenMod> Audio I set the attenuation Ringtones, Alerts and Notifications to +10 db.
in fact, incoming calls have a volume much higher than that felt when I choose the ringtones, but I can not say the same for notifications whose audio is really low (if the phone is in your pocket you can not hear it).
I mounted this rom about two months ago, I've already have this problem but inexplicably fixed itself. This time I do not know what to do, you have ideas?
This happen to me once, I just flash the ROM again and worked for me...

Thanks mate! I also thought about flash but I wanted to leave it as a last resort
Solved using volume+ (soundboost) 1.13 cause 1.18 includes “in-call volume (experimental)“ and the app crashes during a call.

Why does the sound randomly turn on and off. randomly. It gets really annoying. And sometimes the sounds are really weird.
Is there a fix for this?

Try Audio Manager, free in google play. It has several settings, and if I remember correctly, it has a widget. I've never had audio problems, so I can't say from a personal experience, but it could help.

As for sound "lagging" such as clicks when you're typing, that seems to be an issue with apps that open/close the sound driver for each sound. No fix I'm aware of, but it typically doesn't affect music/games if they keep the sound active.
The other problem is the "farting sound" when playing sound with the screen off. It's a known issue, and there's not a proper fix. What helps is to turn down the volume until it goes away. It usually only happens at higher volume levels. If you absolutely need higher volume, either enable the option to keep the screen on always while charging, and plug it in -- or use an external speaker plugged into the headphone jack.

Yes. Do a NANDROID backup, do a full wipe from recovery (wipe data, cache, system, AND dalvik), and flash the latest unofficial AOKP nightly. I've had no issues with sound.

Running slimkat right now. Basically when using my Bluetooth, even at the most quiet setting, it's still quite loud.
I've tried a few apps, but still can't get the volume to decrease.
I'm rooted and ready for a mod of someone has one ha.
Thanks!!
I feel that most Bluetooth devices have a separate volume toggle as well. I'd Google the Bluetooth device user manual to be sure.
