[Q] galaxy tab imei 004999...., imei failed ?

i have a problem with my samsung P1000.
I use the SAMSUNG Galaxy unlock on the market android.
after unlock, i check imei, the imei : 00499010640000.
how can i restore my imei original ?
I haven't a file backup of folder EFS

You can't EVER restore it unless you have a back up file.

it hasn't an other way ? Provider Samsung, can they restore imei ?

It makes no difference. I've been without for nearly a year. You are better off with it gone.

my IMEI was change. Do you know how to unlock my Samsung. I verify my Samsung by the code : *#7465625# , and the Network Lock is set to [OFF]. But i can't use other network.

You can unlock your tab by editing a file with a hex editor.
You can go to the market and find an app called sgs2simunlocker by chainfire.

i install sgs2simunlocker. it work with my samsung galaxy tab but it can'ot unlock my samsung
I don't know: is it a reason of my IMEI change ?

when i click SGS2simunlocker, it has code unlock : 00000000. i think it can't take a code unlock. I use another CardSim but it not recognize the SIM (My samsung is lock by Orange France, now i only use SIM of Orange). when i check *#7465625# , all of information are OFF.
Do you know how i can do ?

Restock to gingerbread? That may be able to get your imei back.

[Q] Not registered on network

Hello,
a friend of mine has bought the Galaxy S3 LTE (I9305) has the following problem:
If the Netwok Mode is set on either GSM only or WCDMA only, everything works well.
On the other hand, if it is set on LTE/GSM/WCDMA (Auto mode) after a few seconds
the "Not registered on network" error appears.
The SIM card used does support LTE, could that be the source of the problem?
Also, my friend accidentaly tried to apply a i9300 CF-root and we restored it following this guide:

Any ideas?

If you guys used a different rooting method and not the one's posted in the I9305 forum , you probably lost your imei number. Check if you got it dial *#06# and your imei will hopefully appear.

At the end of firs post is a tutorial how to resort imei after using I9300 root on I9305.

Same problem here. Works for a while and then BAM. Emergency Calls only. I have my IMEI OK though.
Used a verfied method to root.
Trying a new ROM today.
Would a different CSC or Modem help?

[Q] How to change my VM Dial-In Number

Any one knows how to change my VM automatic Dial number? When I flashed using Odin, it shows that it's unknown, however If I try to add it it asks me to contact my phone provider... which has nothing to do, since they only provide the SIM card,
What's strange is that, if I install any ROM then the phone will work fine and recognize all service numbers that it should, it only happens if the original fw is installed.

please friends i want your help badly, yesterday i flashed cm-10.1.0-RC2-GT-S5830-cooper.zip from the thread ( [ROM][DEV] CyanogenMod 10.1 JB 4.2.2 - Androidarmv6 [RC2 - 17/04/2013) in this site on my galaxy ace and then my imei number was gone speakers where not working and in dial pad when i type first digit it comes fast but after 1 digit when i tap on other digits it takes almost 5 to 10 sec to appear i dont know what happend then i flashed it with odin on stock firmware 2.3.6 but still it was same i tried to solve my problem searching on this site and i got this location (Legacy & Low Activity Devices > Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830, S5830i, Ace II > Galaxy Ace S5830 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > s5830 lost IMEI ) but when i dial this number *#7284# it goes to service mode but shows nothing on screen i dont know what to do please,your help needed urgently :crying: i have paste some 2 screen shots from settings>about phone>status any help will be apppreciated

There is something called ASANSAM box/ASB box, It repairs the imei number. But I've seen its video which is for galaxy fit.

I also had faced similar kind of problem. Flashing Stock Firmware solved the issue but only after i Factory Reset and wiped Cache. By the way did you do Factory Reset after flashing Stock Rom? It seriously Helps.

yes i have done factory reset and also wiped cache but with no success

Try this. Update with DDKQ4 or 6 whichever was the 2nd last version. Then use Kies to update to latest version.
When trying so many things. Try this also.

Try not to play much with your phone. When you're doing something, be sure that you know what you're doing else you'll end up in problems like this. If you are a newbie I recommend that you do not try anything by yourself for time being. Go to a nearby service center. They will fix the problem for you. If the problem isn't solved there, report back here. We'll try to help.

My phone too showed imei as unknown today just because I tried to enable flight mode via power button. The flight process hangs suddenly, then its enabled. I switch to settings->about phone & saw imei & imei sv as unknown. In hurry, I restored my nandroid backup. Luckily when phone boots, imei was there...

Samsung S3 Mini gt 18200n unknown problem

Hey, my samsung s3 mini gt-i8200n which was i8190 before i gave it to a mobile guy(idk what to call him) got into a bootloop when i tried flashing a i8190 custom rom in it(and yes the phone was rooted, although it was rooted by the "mobile guy") and then i went to this forum and it said to flash this param file and it made my phone even worse. Now i cant even go to download mode. SO PLEASE HELP!!! I can go to the mobile guy but he would cost more money as this was my doing.

Turns out i was wrong.. the model number was i8200n all along.. just saw it in the back of the mobile??.. its all my fault.. so.. i guess i added the wrong rom.. Can someone please help me!!??? In the end i added the right rom.. but then it was not turning on nor was the recovery mode working which i would have used to factory reset my phone so.. then i installed the param file as i said above... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
