Are there any roms for the LG optimus gt540 please that bring either eclair or froyo to it. Many thanks

i would love a HTC sense rom for this device

I would love a 2.1 or 2.2 rom at all....

Anyone? I know 2.1 is coming from LG but 2.2 would be nice(r).

Sadly it seems like I'm not allowed to post links on here so until a mod fixes that small problem, I can't help, but you can find all the info over at Modaco's Android forums.

Yeah I have the Baltic 2.1 version on my GT540, works like a dream.
Would love a Froyo 2.2 version though!

Yea I have that same ROM. It hasnt caused any problems for me what so ever. I love 2.1!!! There might be a way to get 2.2 but its a shot in the dark. If The LG Chic is identical under the hood to the GT540 then it just could be possible. All we need is for someone to get the LG Chic ROM and flash it into the GT540 and see what happens

Im living in Egypt and ive just eclaired my rom by the official LG update with no KDZ UPDATER used.. this rom is amazing indeed but im having trouble reading arabic cz im using the baltic rom .. characters appear but not linked together.. if i can get to any developer to start working on this it wud be amazing .. and YES the CHIC is getting FROYO and it has the same specs we do , so i guess our genius developers will be able to cook us a rom if we dont get it officially .

[Q] Wildheroc RC4 Missing???

Where can I download Wildheroc RC4 for Sprint HTC Hero CDMA? I've looked thru the forums and on the developers page but when I try to download it this 404 thing shows up, so does anybody now where i can download the latest wildheroc rom? Or forward me the zip so i can update from RC2.2?

i just updated my thrill officailly with the att version today....i know my computer downloaded it through the official lg updater tool, how can i fetch it from my computer so that i may share?? btw i did it on a xp machine

Look through the 'General' area in the forum, read the through most of them and you'll soon see that the Official GB Baseband is called v20p

Eaglesblood ROM issue!

i'm using a LG O2X, installed the EAGLESBLOOD™ Ice Cream Sandwich AOSP [4.0.4] build #4 and r having a few problems! i'm having problem with a lot of dropped calls, inconsistent data (a few minutes on, a lot more minutes off), both cellular and wifi & there's some options in settings that will crashed such as developers option! even when i'm connected to the the my cellular data, the download speed is abysmal! i was using MIUI previously and i can get 2Mbps+ connection easily through my cellular but now, even a 900kbps download will take ages, not to mention a lot of unsuccessful downloads!
i've nvflashed my phone back to stock rom before flashing my phone. is there any solution to this?

I would like to try that rom myself but I saw lot's of people have issue with it and all mainly related to the baseband used.
Mine is currently 1035.21_20110725 and I am running CM9 skang3 (I know it's pretty old) ...
so if your tell me your BB, I'll know that I don't need to try that rom under this BB :good:
Also it's bad we need 10 post before being able to post in a dev forum, so at least it will help us reach the goal !

my baseband is the same as urs.... so u can try others now! well, i may go Nova HD in a few days time if no1 can help me.... i actually even pmed the EB developer but no reply yet.
lolz, i do think that the 10 post is actually a bit pointless as if i want to get to 10 posts faster, i'll just bump my own thread though i dont intend to do so! and i'm still far away from the #10 target! ^_^

changing baseband!
just wondering, if i flash another baseband via SmartFlash P990, will it help or will it render the ROM unusable? anyone can help me with this query?

Don't think you'll break anything by flashing your BB, I did it 2 times already, but of course if you put a BB not compatible with the rom you use your phone will not boot, you'll have to flash a new rom via CWM ... so at least put some rom files ready on your sd card

Not able to download Stock ROM for lg optimus 2x from the location XDA has specified

I came across the link to download STOCK ROM for my lg optimus 2x p990 as link below.

but this freak share is not allowing me to download completely the file. i had tried almost every day. it downloads and then stops after some time.
i want the indian version of stock rom whose decsription is as below(description is as mentioned in above said link)
"BIN_LGP990AT-00-V20i-ESA-XXX-MAY-16-2012-0" under the INDIA, SINGAPORE, VIET NAM, THAILAND sub menu.
i had flashed old rom and wanted to try this new ROM. but i am not able to download completely the file itself.
this freak share website is really freaking me . so please can any one in this XDA has a true copy of the stock ROM. please upload as torrent or to some location which all can easily access and download the ROM 20i completely.
i really tried all possible means and could not able to download completely not even once. so please please , give me a link from where i can download the Complete ROM.
i know there are plenty of Legends who has STOCK rom for lg optimus 2x p990. please share it to me. please dont give freakshare link. its has already pissed me off.

search for a Rebuild of V20i from the kdz superman FLIX. it is a nice version with some unwanted bloated bulky apps from the original ROM from LG.

v20h has some bugs which will make u remove the battery after the calls gets cut. Like the display wont come up.If u had faced the same problem as me anytime,do let me know cos i found a baseband version which gets u out of this 20h problem. If u havent encountered then ur lucky.
As soon as i get the build v20i. I will upload to all my dear friends in some hosting site and will give u all link. It would be alternative link. So that my entire world uses it.

dear iam not facing such problem in v20h but now iam in v20i it is same as v20h not much performance difference .I mean its not matter v20h or v20i now we want a official ics for p990 after a long time of waiting i think they launch it in the starting of sept. now wait and see what performance it will give .thanx alot have a good day too

but these guys r really pushing it to limits for releasing it.
U can try "NOVA HD RUBUILD V1.1"
Its really good and crispy.its an ICS build. But no video acceleration. If u want to see how p990 reacts to ICS, can give a try.:thumbup:

i already tried it but i am facing a battery issue with there kernel and then came back to stock. i think that the orignal ics dont have such issue. and i also heard that the stock ics is come with major updates like lg quickmemo etc and more new features...waiting for that

yes ofcourse. if u download v20h and if you had not rooted your phone, then you can upgrade using lg upgrade tool. if the new version is available then you can. if the software projects like "you have the latest version then you cannot".

Actually I need to take it to the service center because my front camera is not working.. so if i just flash the v20h by using clockwordmod then its fine.. then wont get to know anything.. currently using v28elite
