Sending App from Google Play

Hi,
I'm French, and i bought my phone in England (i lived there for few month)
I have a Barclays Bank Account, and i want to use their App on my phone BUT Google Play answer "This Item Can Not Be Installed On Your Device Country"
I know i can use Market Unlocker, but i don't want to ROOT my phone
Can someone who have a Google UK Phone give me the .APK from Google Play ?
You can use the app "App Backup & Restore" to do it !
Thanks a lot :good:
The App Link >>> play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.barclays.android.barclaysmobilebanking&hl=en
I have a uk google play apk.
Edit: if archers zip does not work, try my apk
Installation procedure is in archers post.
I installed it but it's a zip not an apk. I've found it to be hit & miss as to whether you can side-install zips. Some work, some don't. Copy it into /data/apps - might need a reboot.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4838274/com.barclays.android.barclaysmobilebanking-1.zip
thank You for your help !!
But it doesn"t work ...
Can you try with this app please, to have it in .APK

It doesn't show up in that app, probably because it's a zip not an apk.
Looks like you're stuck with rooting and using Market Enabler. Any reason you don't want to do that? You could unroot immediately after.
Because i just need the .apk and that so easy to have it with application
So if you can give me the .APK it will be okay and i will not need to root / unroot my phone

It isn't an apk, so it doesn't matter what app I use. I did try the app, just so I can say "yes, I tried it", despite knowing it would not work. Even renaming the zip to an apk file doesn't work, which is another hit-and-miss method to get zip files to install.
If you really don't want to root your phone then you may need to forget about having this app.
Stupid question: Can't you just change the exstension to .apk? Wouldn't that work?

All that application does is copy the apk file from /data/apps or /system/apps. If there is no apk file then it won't work. I've come across a few apps that when installed from google play are installed as zip files, but you can't install them on any other device. Rooting or forgetting about it are your two options.
There might well be a second problem anyway. Even if you do, somehow, manage to get the .apk file in original format and install it on your device, you may well find that Barclays block your access based on location. If that is the case then rooting would be your only option anyway.
I don't understand - you've been a member on this site for 4 years, this is the first time you have felt the need to post anything and you are too scared to root your phone! Why are you on a phone developers site?

Rooting wouldn't help much anyway. Barclays apps don't work with root. Even recognises your rooted if you use a temp unroot.

Well, as you can see, I can't install any apps using market, it just says: (Translated from swedish) Could not download [Kik messenger]. There isn't enough space on the unit.
But as you see at another pic, I have formated the internal memory so I have almost the full space.
What can I do?
Found a similar thread but not exactly the same so I made a new, sorry If I made the wrong choice.

Factory reset your phone! Turn it off and press Volume down and as u hold it press power button and just wait for android logo to show. Then your phone will be on stock factory settings and sign in with your account again and try it again!!! And DO NOT format internal memory!

Thanx for the answer
This happens when you have a cache partitions that's ether to small. Or come from a rom that have symlinked the cache partition. And now have flashed some thing else that don't but still have config files left.
Best and easiest way is normally to do a full wipe and reflash the rom. Use Nvflash or Smartflash and flash the stock firmware and then later the rom you want.
If not you can always symlink the cache partition to a new location your self with a terminal editor on the phone. And make that a script if it the rom support init.d .
Its a rom problem that nt supporting Google play .you can install ur backed up app bt from store u can't ....

Sorry but I didn't gave you guys much info. I think I need to add that I got stuck in a bootloopthingy before and I am right now running a copy of the LGs version GB 2.3.4 ROM. Is it enough to get into recoverymode and reinstall the same copy? If it is, what data should I ''wipe''? Also I can install any app manually by using APKs.

Try installing lucky patcher and then press menu and click on market something fix. It will fix that error. I used to get that same error but in English.

Permission is GENERALLY needed for using something to build another thing, not for same ROM according to me. If permission was to be asked for even contribution, there would have been no themes for several ROMs

Have you rebooted the recovery between each flash ROMs?
Here it is, and yes I've rebooted recovery every time as I cannot enable USB mass storage in recovery.

Same error again, but that time it appeared much more quickly than the previous times. And as a precaution, do you want me to replace the META file or just copy over it, because i am using linux and i copy it over and I think it adds to the META.

Yes replace it: delete META-INF folder from the rom ZIP and add the one from META-INF-NEW.ZIP to rom ZIP.
But i think the download was BAD and you will need to download again the ROM
