[Bootanimation] 320x480 devices only (atm)[Update 10/4/2012] - Android Themes

This bootanimation works on all 320x480 devices!
A team Diok project
Hello! Me and Iok1 are working on a bootanimation. It's supposed to be a fake factory reset. So whenever you start your phone it will appear as it is going into recovery, scroll down to wipe data/factory reset. It will fake a factory reset.
Requirements:
Root
A custom recovery
A non-stock rom
Optional: Backup of current bootanimation
Installation:
Reboot into recovery
Choose install zip from sdcard
Navigate and pick "CWMfakefactory"
Install it
Reboot and enjoy
(This does not work on ics, will try to fix it)

yes just flash it through ClockWork, no wipes or anything
I have only been running this a very short time, but I gotta say it is buttery smooth and very simple. The 3D effect is cool. I wish it was a bit more customizable, with themes and such, but I am going to keep using it. The memory foot print is very small.
I'm on the latest nighlty, flashed trough CWM and got a bootloop.
Thoughts?

You will have to sbf to.602 I beleive, where you running 602 when you flashed ?
Not sure if it's just my PC, but it looks like the codes to change the text colour/background colour didn't work out so well
But, nice looking ROM.
Can I run this coming from Liberty 3 v.2.0? I just flashed Liberty last night and I'd love to try ICS for the DROID X.

Make sure you are on .602 radio (when it boots M should be red not white) then do a full data wipe before you install.

Yeah, I originally came from .605. It boots up in a red Moto logo. Do I need to wipe system and dalvik cache and everything? I'm new at all this and I just don't want to be ignorant and then brick the phone.

Custom transition animations!

You guys will be well known of the app called "ZipThemer". Its available in the playstore for free. We can actually change the transition animations in our mini with a few simple steps using ZipThemer.!! ( Its a year old technique i just found it a day before.. )
Here we go !!!
What we need..
1. ZipThemer( download the app from playstore)
2.Ani_xx.zips ( download from the attachments, try the flyflip, the transition looks cool on our mini!!:highfive
How to use zipthemer..
1. Move the Ani_xx.zip to the /sdcard/zipthemer folder.
2.Open ZipThemer, Click on the menu button, then click on Update Edify.
3.Click Browse and find a zip on your sd card (theme, rom, etc) that you have used before and click on Configure. If it fails just try another zip till you get a popup that says "success".
4.After you get "success",press the back button and select +Theme button, then choose the Ani_xx.zip from /sdcard/zipthemer folder.
5.Press the Build it! button,it will then ask whether to create an undo file, select yes and wait.
6.When it completes go to cwm and flash the Ani_xx-update.zip and reboot.
7.Now you can enjoy your new transitions !!!:good:
Note: Incase something went wrong or you want to go back to your default transition,go to cwm and flash the Ani_xx-undo.zip.
(Tested on my mini running gb rom,and it looks good ,but it should work on every rom. Last but not the least, do it at your own risk)
